Haha, well, he was Angel in our production of Rent, so he needed boobs to be Pussy Galore. xD (if you haven't seen Rent, that will make no sense. The short and long of it is that Angel is a drag queen)

You know, I used to be THE BIGGEST Rent fan, back in 7th grade, but I never fully understood it until I was in it. I used to dislike Without You and I'll Cover You (Reprise) and the support group songs... heck, a lot of songs! But after being in it, I love all of it to death. And my favorite character used to be Mark, but it's now a tie between Angel and Mimi (our Mimi was amazing). I would mist up every time I saw Angel die and I heard his footsteps behind me during I'll Cover You (Reprise). And Angel and I made a point for our characters to be close, even though I was only a lowly company member. :heart:

@Hatake- Heehee, same with a lot of people. You should really check it out some time. You might want to see the Last Broadway Performance as opposed to the movie, though. The movie kinda sucks in comparison.

... Or I could be the little hermit crab I am and just hide in a hole somewhere...

Anna- I think I've been a Rent fan since 7th grade as well! Maybe 8th. I got into it the summer one of my cousins graduated, and I can't remember what year it was. I watched the movie all the time, adored all the songs, learned them by heart in short order, loved all the characters to death... Then I saw it on stage in the 9th grade. And it blew my mind and made me realize how the movie did not do it any justice. <3 And then I loved Rent even more. I saw it last year with Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, and it was one of the best moment of my short little liiiiife. :heart: And it still makes me cryyyy. ;w;

I've never seen the show live. </3 The one with Rappy and Pascal came to Denver, but I never got the chance to see it. :/ But, yeah, I saw the movie one time at a Dude Ranch the summer before 7th grade, I believe, and was obsessed with it... until I got the OBC soundtrack. After that, I couldn't even get past the first few minutes. Who the hell decided he should say Tune Up #1?! D:<
It really was, but there were days when I felt like everyone was doing it all wrong. Also, our Roger wasn't the best, to put it kindly.
