Rainy- See, that all is even cooler than a paper of just wicca! D8 This is unfair. I WANT TO GET TO WRITE A FUN PAPER. But the only papers we've written this year have been on books and plays. We have to make up dumb thesis statements that have nothing to do with the book, run with it, and hope we're good enough at BSing to get the teacher to think we're legit, because if our topic DOES actually seem to concern the book, we aren't 'thinking on a high school level'.
Except The Great Gatsby. We were given essay topics for that one so making up irelevent stuff to write about was already out of the way, we just had to make up stuff to say about it.

I bought one of the dresses I was questing for. ^^

My little brother is so good at math (I'm soo jealous) and not very good at anything else, so he gets called out for having amazing marks when he actually applies himself. He got the top of the class in several tests, and the evil ass. principal talked to him about it, saying he was cheating because a middle schooler apparently doesn't understand algebra like that l:

Are you referring to the Feast of Fools event or the Phoenix Jubilee event? I've already started the banners for the PJ event, and I don't think they look very broadway-themed so far, since we were just planning on a plain ol' Manties themed thread. ^^;

Rainy- I like my English teacher, it's just that he's so out there, and does not take what is directly in front of people for an answer, ever. We always joke that we need to get high to write A-worthy papers for his class... It's nice in that you can make stuff up, but it's also difficult in that we have to deconstruct a lot of what we've learned prior to his class to be able to do so, and when we cling to what previous English classes have taught us, we get C's. And it also kind of sucks that he expects you to be on the same page when he's talking about how Macbeth is actually an allegory for the removed passage of the Bible in which Jesus liberates the mole people or whatever else he's come up with to 'help us relate.'
He'd be nice to just sit and talk to for a few hours, he has some really interesting thoughts, but being in his class results in mega stress comes time to write essays and have class discussions.

Seriously? :/ That's terrible. Way to encourage him to not succeed.... Your poor brother! Was it all cleared up?
