It's actually the second snow, but it's still pretty. The weatherman said it'd be a dry winter this year, so any snow is good. It probably won't be enough for a snow day, but I'm already on winter break so it doesn't really matter. ^^;

@Aneru, O.o Where are you from?

I'm over on the east coast, in Ohio. We usually don't get a lot of snow until late December or January.

What part of Ohio are they in? Some parts do get it earlier than others.
Ohio is okay, it's a lot of hills. It's pretty mixed for being a smaller state, with a lot of rural areas and some big cities.

Which direction is that from Minot? If I remember correctly...Minot is in the southwestern corner of the state...we used to have to drive an hour or two (Northeast?) to Fargo...when my sister had cancer, that was the closest children's hospital...the Dr there was great. Heheh, I live in Butte now, but I formerly lived in Great Falls, my parents still do...Great Falls and Grand Forks sound similar...hope your town has more to do though. =)

@Aneru, It's okay, I've never been to Montana or North Dakota. ^^;; I've been all up and down the east coast, and out of the country, but I've never been to the western states (well, except California once when I was 6 for a family reunion...but I don't remember it much ;;^^)

@ Yami: No....Butte is pretty much the opposite site of the state. we're in the mountain range/ continental divide region. Great Falls is smack dab in the middle of the state...in the prairie basically. We have a friend that lives out by the border though.
@ Luna: Lol, I'm just the opposite. I have lived in 6 different states in the west, been to every connected western state, plus hawaii...and then the only time I have been east of the (lower) mississipi is Florida, once. Oh, spent 2 hours in the Atlanta, Georgia airport on the way to Peru and Bolivia. Been to Mexico and Canada as well. What countries have you visited?

XD I'm on the opposite side too, grandforks is literally on the border to minnesota (looked at a map, fargo is south not east :sweat:)

Ha, Great Falls is an Airforce town too. But I thinl Grand Forks must be bigger. Without traffic, it takes only 10-15 minutes to get across town in any direction.
