@Mei - I think the Bohemian style and Gothic styles are starting to blur together a bit, and I dare to even thank Tim Burton for that. The way he dresses is quite Bohemian, while his films are quite Gothic. I dunno, totally not my subculture, but lots of subculture fashions like to blur together.

@Mei - Yeah. All the movement and colors and crap just did me in. My friend and I tried to have a Johnny Depp movie night and the same thing happened when we put on Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It made me completely sick x_x

The statement is more about his personal dressing habits and general consensus on his movies rather than personal experiences. In other words, that opinion has been pulled out of my butt >_>

Cookie: Yeah that movie is a bit....wild I guess you can say, and really not as weird and different as it wants us to think... I mean actually it seems to be based on an older story/opera called La Boheme

And as I said, haven't seen more than his face, so I don't know much of his dressing habits, and I probably haven't noticed the bohemian part of his movies, what I notice more is the Victorian Era elements (because there's a whole lot of those) and the gothic elemnts.... but more as in gothic horror stories.

Probably because Tim Burton is a big fan of Vincent Price who played a lot of roles in the movie versions of Edgar Allen Poe's works :3
