I used to greet new people in fresh meat. Then some people took exception to it and I don't do it anymore.

@Mythos - I used to go back through the Fresh Meat forum and greet everyone that had yet to be greeted. Since a lot of people would always ask how to make money and junk, I'd direct them to the newbie guide in my greeting, but apparently it's a bad thing to offer preemptive advice? They made a news post about it and I gave up. Also had an incident with the rudest bitchiest newbie ever and a nasty letter from one of the mods. I almost lost my will to hang around Mene I tell you. x_x
