@crazymuch: Two of my very good friends have aspergers, and the one who was pushed is doing much better. He's off becoming a nuclear engineer now. When he was a kid there was a certain amount of homework and like other work exercises he had to get done before he could do anything else.

I'm pretty sure it was hard on his parents, but he's now the happiest and most successful of their three children.

The other one is my very best friend, and I'm not sure he's even going anywhere right now. -frustrated-

I'm amazing! I'm just getting ready to go shopping for work. Gonna head to payless to get some "shoes for crews" and some black slacks from Goodwill :3

well, with there only 4 school days left in the year, I'm not going to be able to do any nitty-gritty pushing this school year. maybe I'll try the work pushing next year. really knuckle down on it. not waffle and cave so much. I'll have to fix his toy box and put on a new padlock so he can only play when his work is done ... that'll be a headache and a half!

Wendys! I just acquired a job! One of my roomates does not know yet, when he finds out I'll tell him. I just don't want him hassling me for money until I can pay for my schooling again.

I think his mom made him do some work in the summer, too, just to make sure it stuck. Not nearly as much, though. Just enough to keep him in the habit.

he'll be 10 in august, but with his aspergers, it's more like he's 5

#Crazy: Definetly do that to the toy box. Oh man, when my little sister was younger it was hell. Her asshole dad kept taking her to the doctor and playing the "oh your retarded card". So when she didn't want to do a task she'd act like she was too stupid. Took us two years to break her outta that habit.

I live in my boyfriends room, he pays his half and the other roommate pays his half. All I need to pay is how I affected the electricity by 10$. But yeah, the other roommate has aspergers and he's kinda hard to live with. Still a great guy, it's just kinda like he lives in his own world. He always tries to invite everyone over, complains when only 4 show, then drops like 80$ constantly on board games and MTG TCG's. >.< Sigh. Mike and I are moving out in October. We'll tell him at the begining of next month.
