Monster Ranch sounds like it's actually more fun than Pokemon, where the monsters are created by the game creators.

It does sound fun. I haven't seen it in the shops though.

Well, the monsters are still made by the creators, but how you obtain them varies. You can also cross-breed the monsters to get subtypes that look unique and have specific behaviors and stats. I like that the games are very cutsey yet have a lot of stat configuring and such to appeal to my more analytical side as well. : P

Yeah, they are hard to come across. I don't see them around very often. The Harvest Moon games have also been difficult to find recently as well. : /

There are many in the series. There are 1,2, and (I think 3) on the playstation one, 4 and monster rancher Evo (which is terrible) on the playstation 2. There is also a PC version called Monster Farm Online or something but I haven't played it. There are 2 versions available for the GameBoy advance and going to be 2 more for the nintendo DS. *breathes*

I love that more games are coming out with mac versions though (like StarcraftII!). It makes me smile. : )

I have a general question for anyone who would like to answer...when do the new CIs come out? I am still new here and don't know how all of this stuff works yet. >.<

CIs always come out on the first of the month, I believe. And you don't get "envelopes" which you then open later in the month; they're just items you get.

Oh yeah, I'll be selling July CIs for those who want ^^
