Umm, i have heard of that game many times, but have not played it personally. What is it like?

SimCity is a city building simulator, like it sounds, so you get a map and you put in roads, building zones, water pipes... and then your citizens want police, fire, schools, etc. You adjust taxes and other financial things. It's complicated for when it came out (late 90s), but obviously nowhere near like running a real city. For instance, you can place bus depots, but that doesn't seem to mean that there will be bus stops. I want to buy the recent SimCity 4 (there's at last a version for Mac!), but I'm short on cash right now so I can't. It's a ton of fun.
