Koneko - My mom's side of the family is southern Baptist. So that means no dancing at weddings and get togethers. And my dad's are Jewish and don't like each other. xD I have like a handful of family members left in my dad's family but my mom's family is by the hundreds.

@paint: no dancing? sadness. mormons do slow dancing sometimes. but it's rare. and that's only at the reception. the weddings are held in their temples and non-mormons cannot attend. the temple ceremony is a really long and very boring prayer basically.

@paine: gotcha. i don't do it by choice... a friendly inviting family would be nice.

Koneko - I dance and I get stared at. xD The weddings are long and most of them cry and it takes forever to eat. It is usually a long day. I went to a family reunion about 5 months ago and there were so many people but it was just sitting around talking and eating bad food.

@paint: i can only go to receptions cuz i'm not mormon anymore. those are tolerable since its mostly finger foods and going thru the line to congratulate the bride and groom.
