No, you can fine the squid hats in the stores, except for the one I have on.

The cool thing about this event is that aside from a few rare items, all the new items were store items anyway, and in the regular store, not the event store. The bonus items were a jug of booze the mayor passed out the last day and apparently that really cool looking hat that I don't know the origins of @[email protected]

I entered in all the contests so got some squid hats, lemme go see if that's where it's from XD

Edit: It totally is for entering the contests! 8D I guess you get one per contest you enter o 3o
