Ryan looked up at the older woman,"Listen, I don't care who you are, you shouldn't care who I am. The only reason I'm here is make sure none of you lab workers get killed." Ryan replied coldly.

"Yes because everyone wants to kill the people who are trying to make sure everyone is alive and well," Basil muttered to himself and continued typing away. He did look up after a few strokes of the keys, satisfied only when he had finished the code. He stared at the woman in front of him with shaded eyes. Letting out a little sigh he pushed himself upward and shut the computer lightly. Then after a moment he pulled the two sides apart, divided by a crease down the middle of the device, revealing a black slab in between each chunk of computer. Then with one hand he open the computer from the back end revealing that the inside was actually a large screen divided into at least five different channels, all of them revealing some type of map or blueprint and buzzing between a large amount of data.
"Its going well," Basil said tiredly and shook the computer downwards once, hard, sending out three spindly legs from the computer that formed some form of tripod, "The planning that is. Ive already prepared the rout to our destination. Ive been asked to give you a briefing. I trust your smart enough to actually know what the heck your doing, but unfortunately your very right in saying that you are not trusted by the higher ups."

"One of these days I'll get back at them, and my name is Megan Grimm. And it is a good thing I know your job and you know mine. Hope we can get along well, and that your not as annoying as monkey boy over there." She said looking back at the 'body guard', she really didn't care for him since she knew how to use a gun well.

Ryan looked at Megan,"Call me what you want, just remember that I'm the one assigned to make sure we have mission safety."

"I dont mean to be rude, but we'll be in the middle of space, i doubt well need much protection from any assassins or the like," he said, "Im sure your a competent fighter but personally i think your just an unnecessary flight risk. I can see that you think that you being here is as much as a waist of time as i do. I respect that i suppose. Its sad that our military cant seem to be able to place talent where its most needed.
"Anyway, nice to meet you Miss Grimm. I'm Basil Meronine, but I'm sure you already knew that." He said, offering a hand.

Kris nodded and smiled his warm smile at the girl. "Yeah, I got told when I got here this morning" he said as he glanced back at others in the room that seemed to be raising their voices. Argueing already? "Hopefully they won't kill eachother before we even go.." he muttered turning back to the girl. The people in the room seemed to be quite arguementative and they were obviously the crew members. Hopefully they would get along before the time might come where they need to save eachothers lives.
