Lolz, rules can be tedious, but in Mene's case they're very much needed, since the rules here different from other avatar communities, such as having only one Exchange thread and etc. =) <3<3

No worries, Mene is different in that bans are all very fair and taken under careful consideration. :3 Our moderators are more hands-on, so you can count on them being around to answer your questions and all~ =) Or, you can ask me instead, if you want. I don't bite. 8DD;;

Okay--I have a question..Is there any way one can preview the monthly collectible item without buying them?

Oh wow I'm glad the mods here are more co-operative. It's a Herculean task to convince Gaiaonline mods and prove your innocence. trust me, I've been through it TWICE D;

For your first question, it states in the About Us section that Menewsha has been here since January 20, 2007. So as you can see, we're around two and a half years old now~ =)

As for the second question there are two places you can look:
1) http://www.menewsha.com/forum/gaming...rt-please.html - where you can see the full list of monthly collectibles (we call them CI's here, or contribution items), as well as the event items from our events and special NPC items (explanation on what these are is also in that thread)
2) http://www.menewsha.com/forum/gaming...tem-poses.html - where you can see the poses of all multi-equip items, including CI's, EI's, and commons

Speaking of monthly collectibles though, you might find it interesting that here, you only need to own one CI in order to use all its poses, unlike Gaia where you need to buy two of them to use two poses, and etc. ^^ Just a little tip~ =) <3<3

Exactly~ :3 One of Mene's wonderful quirks, if you ask me. xDD;; I can still remember having to buy soo many collectibles in Gaia just to get to use all the poses. D: </3 Made me spend soo much gold back then. @[email protected];;

Yeah..but the most irritating/boring part is starting afresh..I hate to start from 0 whenever I join any website. I wish I had a wand, "swoosh" and all items in my inventory..

A lot of items on Gaia are similar to those in Mene xD

Can the CI's only be purchased by contributing or can they be bought using gold as well? LIke in Gaia you have a marketplace wherein you can buy the CI's without having to contribute..

Coming from Gaia as well, I've gone through that, but now I'm well-adjusted and everything, so I'm sure you'll be too~ =)

And, well, a lot of items are always gonna be similar. ^^;;
I'd like to think of it in a broader perspective.
Such as, for example, wings. Wings aren't an original idea. Gaia has their own wings, and because wings as an idea are common, Mene has wings as well. =) So, it's inevitable that there will be similar items~ xDD;;

And yes, you can purchase CI's through gold as well. :3 We don't have a Marketplace right now, but sellers in the Exchange have threads/shops there, and some will be selling the CI of your choice. :> Just like Gaia's Exchange, except that each member only has one permanent Exchange thread where they conduct their business~ :3

Oh okay..so if I create an exchange thread then I'll have to keep using the same one over and over?

Is there any forum that displays all the slippers that have been released so far? Slippers are my favorite. I had almost all slippers on Gaia except the Bunny and chicky slippers..But I'm banned so w/e..lolz

And do you have an avatar creator for Mene? Like there is tektek.org for Gaia..which is the Dream Avatar creator

Personally, I would recommend maxing out games everyday, as that gives you 500g a day. :3
Also, it's good to find a place where you can chat regularly, like the Menewshan Nations found in the General Discussion subforum. :>
You can also just reply to those threads and all, which is a great way to earn gold through posting. :3
