Ivan smiled "it is nice to see you again and sorry about not talking to you much earlyer." he said as he looked at Alexia. Sarra let them talk since it looked like they where friends and they needed to catch up on a few things.

Alexia got a confused look on her face. "How do you know me I look different but this isn't my main look." She said as her hair turned black and black ears and a tail appeared her wings disappearing completely. She smiled at them in the same goofy smile she had given them earlier when they met.

Ebony shrugged and smiled. "I just knew it. Even though your appearence does change your voice doesn't." Ebony said and looked at Ivan. "Do you think your parents like me? I can't tell... They really didn't say much about me." she said questioningly.

Alexia looked at Ebony with a curious look. Those were Ivan's parents?

Ivan smiled "if they didn't like you they would have thrown you out of here, so they like you." he said as he kissed her head and smiled. "now lets go eat, this place as the best food." he said as he looked at Sarra. Sarra placed a hand on Ivans arm and Alexias shoulder "the dinning hall is this way" she said and started to walk.

Alexia jumped when she felt the hand on her shoulder and almost hissed but stopped when she saw who it was. She started to wonder why the werewolves weren't attacking her in her neko form but she also started to feel lucky that they weren't. She smiled at the werewolf queen and a small purr came from deep in her throat.

Ebony smiled at Ivan's mother and walked holding Ivan's hand. She wanted to start up a conversation but she wasn't sure on what to say. She couldn't think of any topics besides her relationship with Ivan. "Your palace is very beautiful. The statues are so life like." she noted and smiled a tapastry catching her eye. The beautiful colors of the werewolves every where you turned.

Sarra smiled happly "yes, we may not sound like it but we are actually ver artistic. With out claws we can carve basicly anything into stone and the colors we adopted over time." she said happly and looked at Ebony "now tell me where do you come from."

Ebony was lost for words. What could she say? "I-I - I'm not sure... But Ivan and I are going to find out..." she said in all truethfullness and looked at the queen. She smiled at her reasuringly hoping the queen wouldn't look down upon her for her lack of information.

Sarra nodded "yes that is understandable." she said as she walked and smiled at Ebony. "now answer this, how long do you plan to stay with my son?" she asked, wanting to make sure that she was the one for him and not just some girl.

Alexia kept following with curiousity as she listened to their conversation.

"Forever.... As long as I can keep him.... But if I somehow threaten his life or his crown in anyway because someone wants to get to him threw me... I won't hesitate to remove myself... I can't let him get hurt because of me... I won't let it happen..." she said quietly and stared at the floor. She knew Ivan wouldn't like this but it was the truth. She refused to be the cause of his suffering and pain.

Sarra nodded, a smilewas over her face. She said nothing more or asked no questions, she was satisfied. Ivan wrapped a arm around Ebonys waits and pulled her close to him. "and if you remove yourself then I would fall to pieces." he whispered to her and kissed her head. He needed her, he had no idea what he would do if she left him.

Alexia watched what was happening and wondered if Ebony's parents approved of Ivan. She looked back at the queen and kept thinking of how she had thought that it was her forest alone. She now thought of the forest completely differently and now she had to be careful not to stop werewolves from taking a few of the animals that she called friends.

"you would do the same and you know it...." she whispered and looked up at him. She kissed him lightly on the lips. "And that's as a last resort.... Ill fight until i can't fight anymore for you..." she said quietly in his ear and then kissed his cheek. She kept herself close to him needing his warmth as dread set in. They'll target me to get to him.... Im putting him in danger... I have to protect him because of this....

Ivan smiled and kissed her back. He knew that if he stayed the prince of the werewolves he would be putting her in danger of being attacked. THat was why he planed to do soemthing that he knew would make his parents disown him and he didn't care. He wanted to be with her and not put her in danger. Soon they got to the dinning hall and the table was already set with food. "sit and eat." sarra siad happly.

Ebony smiled and sat down to Ivan's right and gracefully set the napkin in her lap and somehow she knew all the special silverware set out before her. She took the small crystal glass of water to rinse her mouth and set the water back down as she swallode. She smiled and picked up her small fork like it was a precious thing. Slowly she ate. Making her self whipe her mouth every few mouthfulls and she drank from the middle wine glass with the white wine. water for wash.... White for greens... red for meat and main corse.... she thought having no idea where she was pulling this information from and she noticed the queen staring at her amazed. Ebony blushed and whiped the corners of her mouth and asked,"Is everything alright your majesty?"

Sarra nodded "yes, I just didn't expect you to be so.." she couldn't think of the word and just continued to look at her. Ivan then cleared his throat and everyone stoped eating and looked at him. Ivan slowly stood and then looked at his mother. "I have an anousment to make, I am going to give up my right to the throne." he said clearly and sarras jaw droped when she heard this.

Ebony looked at Ivan surprised and immedately knew why he was doing this. She could see the angered look on Sarra's face. Ebony rose with Ivan feeling she was responsible for this. "Ivan....What are you doing?..." she asked worried that he was throwing this all away for her.

Ivan sighed and smiled at Ebony. He was doing this for her and himself. If he kept the crown then he would not be able to leave again. He had barely managed to get away before and not that he was in the palace again they won't let him leave. "I give up my crown and forever will not step foot into this palace. I was never ment to be king and I dont want to be king." he said and smiled at Ebony. He silentely told her that everything would be okay.

Alexia looked at Ivan and had a confused look on her face. When she saw the silent words that he spoke to Ebony she knew what was happening. She started to wonder what would happen to the kingdom. She started to stir her uneaten food and looked down at it intently as if she was looking at some unseen picture or vision.

Ebony took Ivan's hand to comfort him and smiled reasuringly at him. She saw the angered looks on the kings face and caught wind of what he was thinking. Just by looking at him she knew what he intended to do. He's going to remove me from the picture.... She looked into Ivan's eyes trying to tell him silently what she had seen but it was too late. The guards spilled into the room and grabbed her. "Let me GO!"

Ivan was quickly at her side and had knocked the guards away. "leave me be, I have chosen my fate and you may hate me for it but I will never be king. I chose to be by Ebonys side now and forever more, to love her forever and have a regular family. I can't have that if I stay here, so leave us alone." he yelled at the king and queen. THey just started at them and finally the king growled "you are no longer my son or part of this town, leave now."

Tears slid down Ebony's cheeks feeling horrible for what she had done. She wrapped her arms around Ivan's arm and pulled him away from his staring parents gaze. The cut on her cheek bled slightly from the gaurds metal glove catching her cheek when he grabbed her. "Ivan.... Please, let's not anger them any more." she begged when he didn't move but just stare at his parents.

Ivan finally tore his gaze away from then smiled at Ebony. He had done this for more then one reason. He had done this for both of them and he would explain it to her later. He gently wrapped a arm around Ebonys waits and kissed her head. "lets go" he said softly and directed her out of the dinning hall. He heard his adoptive parents yelling about all of this and who the next heir to the throne would be.
