Ebony shook her head and took Ivan's arm. "Lets go to the inn... Im hungry and a good warm meal sounds delightful dont you think?" she asked her stomach growled softly and she blushed.

Ivan laughed and kissed her head. "yeah that does sound good." he said and started to walk towards the inn. It looke dlike a nice little place and very friendly.

Ebony smiled opening the door and gasped at the sight. Brilliant lights of many colors where ancing around and the bar looked like a jungle. She was amazed at the twinkling lights and looking closer was amazed to see they were made by magic. She walked slowly to the front desk and looked around amazed holding tightly to Ivan. She peaked around the corner and threw a door to see a beautiful resteraunt that had flowers and vines everywhere. It was dim lit and all the light was from candles floating in the air. "Its beautiful..."

Ivan smiled as he looked around this place. It was amazing and had to agree with her. It was beautifull in a way and the atmoshpere was great. Everyone seemed so happy and light hearted. It was like nothing could bring them down and all that mattered was having fun and nothing else. He smiled seeing the resturant, a perfect get away for a couple. He then kissed Ebonys head happly and stayed close to her.

"Can we get a table?" Ebony asked the passing waiter with a small puppy running along side him. "Of course, are you hear for the party?" he asked smiling and leading them to a table. He pulled out a seat for Ebony and she sat smiling. "No, but we were wondering about it." ebony said smiling at ivan. "Oh, the prince is visiting and staying the night. He always holds a party. Drinks are on the house all night. Can I get you something to drink sense we're on that topic?" he asked and Ebony smiled. "What do you have for wine?" she asked and he smiled. "Only the best for the party." he said. "Ill have some then." she said and looked at Ivan for him to order something as they got the menus.

" I will also have some wine." he said with a smile and took the menu. He wondered which prince he was talking about and weither they should talk to him. They needed all the help they could get when it came to the war agenst the vampires and he wan't to sure if he could trust her uncle still.

Ebony shrugged and kissed his cheek. The waiter came back and gave them their wine. "Which prince is holding the party?" Ebony asked and he looked at her his expression falling. "The Elven Prince Tickyous. I dont recamend you speaking to him madam.... You'll give him ideas..." the waiter said walking away. Ebony looked after the waiter perplexed and looked at Ivan. "Something tells me the prince is in on the elves walking all over the people her.

Ivan nodded and took a sip of his wine. It tasted sweet and perfect, it was exactly why he hated it. He set it down and looked at Ebony. "well since it seems that the person we are suppose to talk to is already here. We should go and visit him sooner or later." he said and he hated how the waiter had said that Ebony would give the prince ideas. He would make sure that he protected her and didn't let the prince lay a hand on her.

Ebony nodded lloving the taste of the wine. "Alright.... But being in my armor isn't going to help the cause.... I look like Im ready to kill him. Ill be right back." she said and got up from the table walking to the girls room. She stopped to talk to a waitress and followed her to the gift shop. She came back with a dress in hand walked into the bathrom. She came back out minutes latter and blushed as she sat down again. "I look ridiculos.... i knew I shouldn't have listened to the store clerk..." she said.

Ivans jaw nearly droped when he saw her, "no, you look beautifull." he said then got up, "and I think I should change as well. I dont want the Prince thinking that I am going to kill him if he touches you." he said and dissappeared for a few minutes. When he came back he had no armor on and looked ready for a party and yet also for a reagular gathering. But one thing stuck out, he kept his sword at his side. "now I think we can met him" he said with a smile.

Ebony raised an eyebrow as he came back nd stood before he could sit. She smiled wrapping her arms around him and kissed him. "You look handsome..." she whispered in his ear and kissed it. "Now letd go and party." she said taking him by the hand and led him to the dance floor. She smiled and swayed to the beat of the song as she walked and smiled loving the carefree feel of the place. She didn't spot any elf though but the place was packed and there was alot of places he could be. "we should split up.." she said over the music.

Ivan looked at her and then nodded. He didn't like the idea of splitting up and kissed her head. "call me if you need." he said and then started to make his way to the other side of the dance floor. He would keep a eye on her from far away and if anything happend he would jump into action and stop it.

"Of course," Ebony said reasuringly and smiled. She walked threw the men and women and danced not being able to help it. She did keep looking around for the prince as she did. She didnt want to draw attention to herself as she did though. She then saw a man that was glowing slightly looking at her. She met his eyes for a second and he smiled. She stood where she was and kept dancing letting people pass her and dance next to her. She didn't care about the group of girls she was dancing with but the man that was beginging to move towards her. She kept calm and smiled as the other girls swooned over the approaching man. Ebony couldn't help but shake her head.... If only they knew Ivan as she did.... He was enough and more for her and she didn't care about anyman here. "Hello beautiful. I don't think I've seen you around here before." the man said and Ebony turned around and saw it was the prince. "I just got here actually, nice party." Ebony said causally. "Thank you, and may I say without you taking any offense, nice body." he said boldly making her blush. "Thank you... But I'm here to speak with you sir about-" she said but he cut her off. "Lets dance," he said pulling her to him. She was surprised but went along with it as he guided her in the dance. She felt so exillerated that she was dancing but the prince was deffinatly the one having the most fun. "As I was saying-" "Hold that thought." he said grinning and twirled her and diped her low. Ebony gasped surprised how easily she could dance and the prince grinned holding her by her waist and leg. "Well I must say you are greacefull..." he said pulling her back up with ease. "Ebony." she said giving him her name. "Well Ebony, without you.... This party wouldve been a complete drag."

Ivan didn't find the prince at all and made his way to the edge of the dance floor. He leand agenst the wall and let people dance by him. He then saw her with the prince and instantly felt posessive of her. He wasnted to run over and cut his hands off of him so that he coudln't touch her again. But he made himself hold back and when he did he saw that some girls where looking at him with interest. But he didn't look at them for long and instantly went back to looking at Ebony. That seemed to make all the girls just stop and look at him. He had a mysterious look to him as he leand agenst the wall and looked at Ebony. He settled his hand on his sword and got ready for anything.

The prince smiled and pulled her close. "We have admirers..." he whispered in her ear and Ebony saw all the men staring at her. "I didn't want to make a scene..." she said softly and he smiled. "Oh but that's immpossible for people like us...." he said in her ear. She was surprised as he said us. "Us?" she asked softly swinging her hips to the beat. The prince danced close to her his hands on her hips. "Yes.... People like you and me... We go together.... Our chemistry is correct... We work perfectly together..." he said getting closer. Ebony was surprised at his words and felt him brush her. "And how do you know this? We are practically strangers...." she said and he smiled. "Well let's change that then..." he said his hands sliding slowly downword. Ebony grabbed his hands and returned them to her hips, she wouldn't tollerate his touch anywhere else. "Oh, I see... Hard to get?" he whispered and kissed her ear. She gasped and he pulled her closer taking advantage of her momentary surprise.

Ivan felt himself growling when he saw him moving closer to her. But he lost it when he kissed her ear and moved towards them. He wrapped a arm around Ebony and pulled him away from the Princes grasp. He looke dinot his eyes, anger was in his eyes. "I am sorry but I am afraid that you are not to lay a hand on her." he said and stayed there. He had a protective bodyguard look to him and you knew that he was there for Ebony and no one else.

Ebony held onto Ivan's arm greatful for his sudden appearence. She sighed feeling safe with him here and the prince smiled. "Oh? And what gives you the right? My party my rules... It was posted on the door. Any girl comming to the party is free game." the prince said and Ebony looked at him surprised. She now remembered the sign on the door when they came in but had paid no heed to it. "What do you mean? How can you do such a thing?" Ebony asked and he smiled at her and his pointed canines glinted in the light. "Im the prince, miss Ebony. And I believe you still owe me a dance." he said and Ebony held onto Ivan's arm tighter.

Ivan kept a good grip on Ebony. "sorry, but that isn't a possibility." he growled and placed a hand on his sword. "I am here to protect Ebony from anyone I think is a threat. That includes you. I have every right for doing this since I have sworn to never let anything happen to her. So if you lay another hand on her I have every right to chop off your hand." he growled and he felt his wolf side starting to bubble up.

The prince raised an eyebrow and looked at Ebony. He looked her up and down wondering how such a girl be so protected. "And what's so special about you my little flower? Or is this just the protective boyfriend?" he asked mockingly saying boyfriend just to anger Ivan. Ebony squeezed Ivan's hand and prayed this wouldn't get out of hand. "Im the heir to the throne of heaven..." she said quietly and he laughed. He laughed for a good five minutes before he could control himself. "That was a good one! There is no heir to the throne. My cousin Angel died when I was born..." he said and Ebony went pale. She shuddered knowing that being related to him and him looking at her was making her a little uneasy. "Im not lying.... If you must know I am Angel Tricksy Halo... And you my cousin were named after me." she said and he stared at her struck by her words. "Its immpossible... No one knew her middle name except my parents and they're dead..." hebsajd and she smiled. "Thats because I am angel." she said he grabbed her hand. "We'll see." he said and pulled out a knife. He cut his wrist and forced her to stay still as he cut her wrist. Their blood floated into the air and when his glowed gold hers did as well. "Immpossible..." he whispered amazed.

Ivan growled when he cut Ebonys wrist and pulled her away from him when he was gone. "not impossible." he said as he gently took Ebonys wrist and licked the blood away. He then looked at Tricksy. "and you can guess who that makes me." he said and kept a protective arm around Ebony. Then smirked, "and it makes me related to you in a way." he said and kissed Ebonys head.

"Wait? You're-" he said and grabbed Ebony's other hand and saw the ring. "You! You abandoned us! And for what?! To get married to some commener!! If you think you can get throne back you're wrong!" he said angerily and Ebony snatched her hand away and hurried her face into Ivan's chest. She was afraid of the look in the prince's eyes. Then mustering up her courage to pass her shock she looked at him coldly. "And why not?" she demanded. "Marrying him makes you give up the throne.... Saying you are taking on his life as a commener..." he said spiting the word commener. Ebony looked at Ivan worriedly. "Uncle never said anything about that."

Ivan growled softly then stoped, "that is because your uncle didn't want us to know." he said then kissed her head again. Then he turned to her cousin and growled. "and you dont you dare talk to her like that again. We have lived threw more then anything you will ever experience and we have been trying our best with everything." he growled and was just aobut ready to punch anyone in the face. "I may be a commoner but I gave up my own crown for her so that I may protect her when it comes to the war with the vampire." he growled at him.

The prince rolled his eyes and then snaped to attention as he herd the word vampire. "Vampires? Did you say war with the vampires?" he asked his features darkening. "Yes, we've come to warn you.... They're mustering their numbers to take out the rest of the royals... And kill me ounce and for all. Trickyous, will you support my rise to the throne?" she asked and he looked at her. "If you rise to the throne you rule over everyone... Including me." he said crossing his arms. "I only wish to bring peace.... And bring us back to our greater days... You will still rule over your people." she said and he huffed. "Very well... For family." he said and took her arm and she grasped his in the elfin way. They exchanged words in elfish and let their hands fall. "One week is all I have to gather forces... So your army must be ready to arrive at the castle-" "I understand cousin. I shall see you in battle but please stay and enjoy the party." he said and dissappeared into the throng of people.

Ivan watched him go and then growled. "you know I really dont like your cousin." He then looked at her and frowned slightly. "it seems that I only complicate things for us." he said softly. It seemed like her whole family hated him and her being togeather. He was starting to have second thought of giveing up his title. But then he would have had to deal with a whole other things and it would have been harder to protect her.
