I can't keep a journal/diary, blog, or even a Twitter. I don't have a cell phone anymore so that makes Twitter harder, but I don't really like Twitter so it doesn't matter. But like, I'll buy a journal, update it everyday, maybe even more than once a day, but then I'll go back and look at what I wrote. And I'm like, what the hell? Did I really write that? I embarass myself, badly. Well, not too horribly, but you get it. And with blogs, as well as journals, I can't be bothered to update them. I've had several blogs on Blogspot, WordPress, SanrioTown (hush! XD), and I can't be bothered.

Discuss: Do you have a journal/diary, blog, or Twitter? If you do, do you update them often? Etc etc.

P.S.: I think it could be my attention span, lol. xD;

I have a Livejournal that I don't update nearly as much as I want to...I usually only update when something good happens, or I'm SUPER mad about something. Other than those times, it gets really neglected. >:

haha (I found both of you here)
Well I have a handwritten one, but that is for past traumatic experiences, and all sorts of former relationships, so I remember not to make those mistakes never again.

On the computer, I don't have blogs or anything, but I mean meh... Who would want to know my business XD

I used to have things like that but I guess we're in the same boat.
I can't do it either, I used to have a blog but I couldn't update it with anything, I also had a journal too but it was the same thing.

You would be surprised at the number of people on the internet who would want to know the business of a girl your age...o.o

I've never kept a journal for a particularly long amount of time. I used to write in little notebooks, but I couldn't bring myself to do it every day, and I completely lost interest after a while. I've also had several Livejournal accounts, one of which lasted for a year or so before I got tired of updating. I'm just not much of a diary-keeping person, I guess.

I do very well at updating blogs and such, almost too well. XD Twitter took me a while to get familiar with, but I started actually using it around mid-08 and moreso when I got a cell phone. I have an LJ that I update almost daily with trivial issues, too.
I don't keep any journals/diaries in writing because I'm paranoid that members of my house will go through them. >: It's happened before. I wasn't good with a paper diary either way.

I've had a journal for about four years now.

For a long time, I would try to write in them, but then I would reread them, be incredibly bored by everything I had written, and realize that I didn't really have anything worth writing about.

Now I really only write when anything interesting happens that I might actually care about at a later date. I actually write a lot more about my opinions on things than actual events, which holds my attention much better than writing down all the mundane details of my everyday life.

I suppose having a lot of paranormal experiences also gives me a lot to write about, though.

I can't keep a journal either... I mean I like the idea of keeping one and my first few entries will be awesome, and then it's just like... nothing for four months...

I'm just not organized enough. @[email protected];

I've tried to keep a journal since middle school, but I always end up destroying them and tossing them in the garbage or I get lazy and decide not to write XD I just can't keep one because I think, when am I ever going to read this? And when I do I hate what I wrote and tear it to pieces XD I liked doing the question thing though in school, I might try one this year. What you do is ask a question and write about it like "what's you're favorite color?" and then you write about it XD It was kind of fun. We had interesting questions.

I'm just too lazy to update my journals. I used to like Livejournal but now I'm just kinda too busy to type stuff out on it. I figure anyone who needs to know stuff about me knows already.

i currently have a diary. it's a little journal. i hate re-reading what i wrote, because i always feel like i'm rambling on and on...i'm not usually a very talkative person. or i get really emarrassed about what i wrote, like OMG what if somebody reads this??? and i end up ripping the page off and into a million pieces. O_o or if i feel really guilty about something, i'll write about it, but then when i read it some time later, it reminds me of whatever i did, and i will rip out the page. my journal's missing a bunch of pages. so mainly i write in it when i had an awesome day or if i saw a really funny episode of family guy. yeah, if i see something really funny on it, i have to write about it. it's a habit.

I have a myspace that I keep updated, but I don't blog or anything. I usually only post when something major is going on. My friends would like it if I updated more, but I don't like sharing my daily irritations; it makes me feel like a failure. So, unless I've pulled off a major coup, or someone has dared throw a monkey wrench in the well-oiled machine that is(n't) my life, I don't share it.
I think the world has become entirely too nosy due to the internet. I really couldn't care less what 99% of the world is up to. The one percent that I care about I either have phone numbers or Google alerts for. Does that make me rude, heartless, or whatever? No. But, personally, I Do Not want to know what Brittney, Brad, Angie, Jen, or pretty much anyone else had for breakfast two weeks ago yesterday.

I just got a blog I use on here, but it's nothing really, just posts about nothing in general. I've tried keeping journals before, but I would always end up changing my mind and getting rid of them.

I write quite a bit. So I guess my answer to this question really depends on what you mean by journal.
99% of what I write in them are all stories, or notes for stories. The other 1% is venting when I'm irritated or simply can't think of anything to write but my own thoughts. If those count, then I have more journals than I really want to count. Haha.

I don't do anything on the internet because the only people who would care are my friends and if I'm angry enough to vent that much, there's a high chance they're involved. I don't want them to read that!

Actually, My literature teacher encourages you to write in a journal type of thing. She writes in hers every now and then but I don't really see the point in it. I mean she is saying it is like talking to yourself, but then I thought "I already do talk to myself, not just in my head, but out loud." I kinda said that out loud but not loud enough for people to hear. I mean it is good and you could go back and such. I forgot what it was about and we barley wrote in our journal this week. I mean maybe two or three days and the other two makes it feel like we haven't wrote in it forever. I like writing in it but then I was hoping she'll remember because I like writing my thoughts down onto the pages that nobody is going to read. Beside me and maybe my future spouse.

I always forget about them when I started, or I'm not consistent.

I don't normally post things online because no one reads them. I don't have any net friends, and I'm not comfortable too much with my Internet personalities meshing with my real life friendships, mostly because I am very candid and mention people (though not names) when I go to places.

Personally i really dislike the idea of a journal. For me to write what i feel, people i like, stuff that happen everyday just makes me cringe. I don't like sharing - even to a peice of paper - what happens to me on a daily basis, and whenever i try to start a diary, after looking at the pages again the next day i end up ripping it out and burning - in the event that someone may oneday read it. Instead of keeping a journal, i usually type a journal-like entry in word for me to vent in, then i read it again, and delete it. So i don't think i'd ever create a blog unless it was written in a code no one could read - not even me. :)

yeah. i'm actually the same way, but i'm really tempted to just go back and start forcing myself to keep writing in them, 'coz i think it's really nice to know what you did and what happened in the past, so you'll never forget. i always end up forgetting about it or not feel like doing it anymore. D: !

I find that I cant keep journals up. I dont really like to write anyway & I have no idea where my diary is. My boyfriend keeps trying to find it lol. I just keep forgetting where it is so its kinda hard to write in it when I cant find it. The only "journal" I keep up is my livejournal (photo journal). Im a photographer so I put photos up there after I take them.

Awhile ago, I tried to start a physical journal. I kept it up for a little bit, but I just couldn't because I got really busy with school and all. However, I don't completely neglect it. If I get things (like name tags or ribbons) from places I want to remember, I'll tape them in the book. So it's become more of a scrapbook than a journal, but whatever. I have a blog and I haven't updated it in awhile, but I always blog about silly stuff. I've blogged about toilet paper before. But I really don't care. XD
