I'd probably be more inclined to keep a physical journal. But blogs are soooo out of the question. I feel like I can't write exactly how I'd want to. I'd be afraid of offending someone or making a friend upset. Even though I never lie to them about how I feel/my opinions, there are nice ways to say things, and I don't feel like sugar-coating a whole blog.

Don't tell your friends where your blog is, then. My mom found my blog once because she was using my computer and got really freaked out that I was suicidal or something. XD

Urg, I know how you feel.
I've been trying to keep a journal since I was six. NEVER have a gotten past 3 entries.
I have to do it now, though, because someone on a website is making me write everything bad that i'm feeling down for my "problems".
So i'm keeping a blog. I'm too lazy to write it down, and I don't release personal information. Unlike journals, your parents can't lift up your mattress and find your blog. :P

I kept a real life Diary for oh, three or four years?
Just recently i stopped writing in it though. I dont need it anymore you know?

I always felt that i only needed to put my thoughts to writing if something was specifically bothering me, if i couldnt keep it in my system any longer. That way, once you write it all down its so freeing that its ridiculous!
But lately, I feel so contented and at peace that i no longer burst with information for only my diary. Its kinda nice :)
But i still know where my Diary is, just in case ;p

I am definately one of those people that has a hard time keeping a journal or a diary. I am trying to get back into having a online journal, such as Livejournal or something, especially now that I am going to school in Hawaii and I am from Maine. (gasp) But I never seem to have the time or the motivation for it.

Shorter things such as Facebook status updates are fine. xD

I can't have one on paper. Someone always finds it! D: I can't cuss or be completely honest out of fear of someone finding it. But when I do keep something like a journal I get tired of writing in it everyday. Then I'll lose it. After awhile I'll get another book and the process repeats.

And if I use something online I eventually just forget about it.

Lmfao!! I know exactly how you feel. It's kinda funny when I think about it. I just tell myself, "Okay, I'm going to write in this journal at least once every other day..."

ONE MONTH LATER...

..."Aw crap." lol

I don't think it's my attention span, or that I forget. I just look at it and say, "Whatever..." :sarcasm: I wish I could keep up on a journal, it's always fun to look back at what you wrote and kick yourself in the head for being such a retard. 8P

I can never write anything worthwhile in a journal or whatever. What I'm thinking one day may escape me on the same day. Then I wouldn't know what to write about. I'd be afraid of someone reading it, my Mom read my journal once. I get bored real easily, too. I can never concentrate on what I want to write that will be worthwhile to read. If I wanted people to read it anyway. By my luck, it would be a noob's Journal. :P

I know how you feel, I get all existed to buy a new journal and I never use it after I write that first entry, maybe its just the fact that all my entries are pretty much the same because I don't do that much. xD How ever i did want to try and scrap book deaths in the news papers and weird things like that.

All I got was a lady found mummified in a pile of garbage in her house and I wrote on that page it was the same day as my friends Graduation party. ><

Someone once told me that their parents always said, never put in writing what you wouldn't want published on the front page of a newspaper. I think that there's a lot of wisdom in that, so that's the rule I live by. You're better off just talking to friends.

@Yorihiko That's why I don't write anything down for people to read. If there's something I want someone to know I would tell them in person. I'm upfront like that. :)
