Yeah, I've found that pople here are more polite than on Gaia. And its a smaller community here.

It's not much different from Gaia, as far as earning gold goes, except you don't get gold for just looking around the site. You have to work for it. You can get 500 a day on games (1000 if you get a mule) and the longer your posts are the more you get (you can get a max of 20 per post) so it's better for you if you write your words out properly since it's calculated by character. There is a guide and also a newbie starter guide.

It might take a little while to adjust to the rate you earn gold but once you've got into it it's not too hard. :)

Some are, the cheapest shops are 52 and Hot gossip. Depending on how talkative you are or how good you are at the games it could take maybe a day or 2 for you to be able to afford something.
