Still no storm yet. :( I'm disappointed. Haven't experienced a good storm in AGES.

I think I'll roll the dice...
Here goes nothing:

The 100-sided dice lands on 71
The 100-sided dice lands on 32
The 100-sided dice lands on 35
The 100-sided dice lands on 47
The 100-sided dice lands on 93
The 100-sided dice lands on 4

Is there any limit to the total number of times that I can roll the dice?
I`ll try again anyway:
The 100-sided dice lands on 51
The 100-sided dice lands on 72
The 100-sided dice lands on 89
The 100-sided dice lands on 45
The 100-sided dice lands on 4
The 100-sided dice lands on 45
The 100-sided dice lands on 77
The 100-sided dice lands on 39
The 100-sided dice lands on 60

Hm, good question. *thinks* Probably a maximum of 30 times, to allow others a chance. :)

I'm currently allowing ten rolls per post, but I think I might change that rule, Foxy. You're right -- ten times per post will simply encourage posting for the dice roll and not for chatting. :P

Aw, sorry about your AC! Did you get through the night with any sleep? I was woken up around 3:30 am by all three of my cats trying to get at a cat that had, for some obscure reason, wandered up onto our apartment's balcony -- the balcony runs along all four of the top apartments, as the only way to access them. So "balcony" is a misleading term... it's just the doorway. But anyway, in three years we've never had more than bugs and birds up there, not even a rat or squirrel, and suddenly there was this big orange cat acting last night as if he wanted to come inside! Frances, the 2-year-old who literally bounced off the walls as a kitten, puffed up to twice her size and was making the most appalling racket! I had to shoo the cat away through the door (I sleep with no clothes on since it's so hot!) but the kitties were all three still quite wiggy when I woke up at 8am this morning. So... it was a very exciting night.

I have no idea -- I didn't recognize it, so it was probably a stray...
OH WAIT. Yes, I think he belongs to the lady across the street. I've pet him before, and he could probably smell my apartment. Apparently he gets out a lot when he's not supposed to. But really, I didn't get a good look at him.

Why do you want to die before you get old? I'm planning on being one of those annoyingly spry old women, like Sophie.

Oh -- I don't associate old with infirm. I'm planning on staying healthy up until my death, even if I'm 90 or 100. And having relationships with young people apparently helps older people live longer.

I don't think I'd have the will-power to stay healthy. I don't even have it now... and that's what really impacts one's longevity. I'd rather enjoy as much as I can now but die young than force myself and live unhappy in order to live older. Of course, by the time I do actually get older... who knows what stuff they'll have discovered/invented.

Cheerfulness really helps longevity. I want to live long so I can write lots of books and make lots of music with lots of people. I have too much to do to die young!
