I just got into this series earlier this month. Haven't seen a thread for it in the Index sooo...I'm starting it!

My cousin had Tomb Raider: Anniversary for Xbox 360 and I played it at her house. Later that day I decided to buy a Tomb Raider game of my own. Ended up with Legend because it was the only Tomb Raider game at the GameStop that I went to. My playing started off quite rocky. I found out that Lara Croft can die. A LOT. And in many ways. So anyway I just completed the third level in the game and am starting the fourth. I think I probably spent more time watching the DVDs when I bought them after the game (dark places freak me out so I'm pretty reluctant to play the game alone. But I'll do it anyway.)

I know this game has been out since FOREVER because it started out on PC or something like that. Any of you Menewshans Lara Croft fans? If so, please stand up!

Oh yes, Tomb Raider

I have played it too much, and, as you said, she dies too easily.

I mean, the first few times she gets eaten by bears, its funny, and then you think "Whoa, what was my dad thinking when he put those in?!"

But I have to admit, I DO like swimming around. :D

Dang, she gets eaten by bears? I gotta YouTube this and see for myself. Which version is that from and which TR's have you played overall? I've only played a bit of Anniversary and Legend so far.

I like the EARLY tomb raiders.

The newer ones have been total shit.
Disappointing.

Hehe. I love the Tomb Raider series. Sadly I only got into it just before Underworld was out. I'm a big platform geek. The only on sadly that I've beaten so far is Legends. Angel of Darkness is too different from the others, I'm stuck on Anniversary on the last level (I'm not too good on the fighting on that one) and on the boss on Underworld (can't seem to find a way up ^^;)

I do like the motorcycle scenes in Legends and Underworld, and I do like the fact that you can stand now on poles and beams in Underground. and shooting underwater and from holding on the wall, on a beam and pole.

I wish I got a chance to play the very first three games. :cry: Especially since Anniversary is a remake of the first one I believe.

I got into Tomb Raider because my mom was interested so I bought Anniversary for the PS2. Now I have also Angel of Darkness for the PS2, Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld for the 360.

Some day I hope to get myself in shape to dress up as Lara at a convention. Hehe. Hmm....but that does require me getting up off me bum. =3:sweat:

Oh man I wanna dress up as Lara too!! Just not Angelina Jolie style. I'm not quite a fan of hers...
