What is the most expensive thing you ever bought for yourself that was not something you needed. Not cars or homes or anything like that. Just something you wanted because you liked it. It can only be ONE item. Not a collection.

Also, what is the most expensive thing that has been bought for you for Christmas, a birthday, or other holiday besides something you needed?

The most expensive thing I ever bought was my Luts Ttori Mini Super Dollfie. =3 He cost me $402 in the buff. Then I had to buy his clothes... but just naked and that is it... he was $402.

The most expensive thing I got for Christmas was the money for my Luts Yder Super Dollfie... but that didn't include shipping. @[email protected] Which cost me $75!! And the money was only given to me because he had to be ordered online. >_< If he was in a store or something I wouldn't have gotten cash.

So basically... I might need to insure all my dolls with the house.... :3 I have 5 of them currently....

Hmm... The most expensive thing I've bought just because I wanted it was my $1,200 TV...

And the most expensive thing I've ever received was a check from my stepdad when he sold his Apple stock.

Ahh, I believe the most expensive I ever bought was my TV.
Then as for something I received was my Photoshop CS3, my whole family had to pitch in to afford it. But it was worth it and it made me very happy. x3

The most expensive gift I got was a katana from my dad for my Laido practices. It cost NT$25,000. And the most expensive thing I bought myself was this collection of Death Note items all in a box...it was a collector's edition I think, which included a mutated monster skull made out of metal inside, a necklace that was an eyeball, a image album by the mangaka, some original manga sheets from the manga, and a model of a staircase with Light, L, and Misa on it. Costed me NT$6900...>.>;

Hmm....
Bought: I think it had to be my Nintendo DS... Sad, right? lol With the games and accessories I got with it, it cost me $170.00 US.

Recieved: My oboe. My mom got it for me for band... ^_^ It cost $2,500 U.S. My dad also got me a PS2 (a year after they came out) for $200.

I really want a ball jointed doll!!! I'm thinking about getting either a Luts or Dollzone. I'm not big on Dollfies, just because they look a little cartoonish to me.

Probably my computer, which I paid half of. But the price is a joke compared to what one would pay for, say, a "gaming machine".

I did probably waste a few thousand on random entertainment-related garbage though, back when I actually had money. Much to my everlasting regret.

Oh, a fellow BJD fan! The most expensive thing I bought was actually a Soom Beyla, who will probably arrive around Christmas. It was about $700. The most expensive thing I got for Christmas was probably an iPod. I generally get a bunch of little things for Christmas, as opposed to one big thing.

Most expensive thing I've ever bought was by far my computer - $2500, not including the tax, shipping, or insurance on it. Still paying for it actually. XD; But totally worth it; I love this thing. |D

Most expensive thing I ever received was my old laptop, which was my 18th birthday present...I really wish my dad had just saved the money; the thing barely survived a year. It was about $800, from what I've been told...a year later, the CD drive literally fell out and I was holding the thing together with duct tape. It was...kinda sad.

Aside from that, I also got one of the first generation iPods from him when they were brand new - I had that up until a little over a year ago when it went MIA. I really do hope it follows Murphy's Law and turns up now that I've bought a new one - even though I have a much more sophisticated one now, I have to say I was really attached to that one. D;

My most precious and most expensive purchase of a 'non essential item' was my Yasashii, a very rare and sought after Tamagotchi. I paid $180 dollars for it with the shipping. Wait, my Devilgotch and Santagotch were expensive too and I think I paid $150 a piece for each. Those are some of the 'crown jewels' of my collection. Most of my other tamas were brand new between $15-50 dollars, depending on rarity and whether or not it was imported or not. Keep in mind folks, this is my main hobby and I don't really splurge on clothes, shoes, or makeup...in fact most of my wardrobe I bought second hand. :O

Received? Oh jeez...I'd have to think long and hard about this. Probably the $700 my dad gave me to fix the transmission on my car. I had just bought this used Dodge Daytona and had all sorts of bits and pieces replaced, including needing a new engine. I got it up and running and found out why the engine went and ended up having to sink that $700 before I could drive it. I guess it was a necessity...Hmm not a necessity but a gift...I'd have to think about that long and hard...

Bought? Don't remember, I don't usually have any money, due to the fact that I stole from my dad in my early years, and now he doesn't fund me with anything or TRUST me.

Received? My 2 GB MP3 from my bro, since he worked for the Apple section in a mall, and there was this contest, and he won a lot of coupons with which you could buy ONLY from the mall. And I've been begging him to get me an MP3, so voila!

Hmm most expensive thing I bought was my Computer a few years ago. It cost me £1,200, and since then it's cost me another £250 for a complete upgrade. So it's turned out to be a pretty expensive little computer. XD THen the next object would be my laptop, which i still owe my dad the money for. (I didn't have the cash at the time, but I do now).

Most expensive thing I received was either my Digital SLR Camera, or my BJD (Dollzone Mo).
Everything else I have I've either bought myself, paid half for, or have been cheaper than those two.

The most expensive thing I bought was my computer, which was $1100 on a Canada Day sale, originally priced $2150. I couldn't let the deal pass. :|

Most expensive thing I received as a gift was my plasma television I got last Christmas, roughly $700.

But if my boyfriend buys me another Copic marker set this year and I combine with the gift he got me for my anniversary, it'll definitely be the Copics which cost about $400 for a bundle of 72 colors.

Most expensive thing that someone bought for me.. would most likely have to be my Nintendo Gamecube

The most expensive thing I've ever purchased was my gaming pc. To date it has cost over $2,500. And that will grow when I finally get my new power supply unit for it. The most expensive gift Ive recieved would probably be my laptop. I'm not sure how much it was exactly, though. My family has a tradition of not revealing the prices of gifts.

The most expensive thing I've ever bought for myself was an 18 karat gold diamond and pearl Edwardian-style necklace. It cost just under £4200, so I only wear it for special occasions.

The most expensive gifts I've ever been given are also pieces of jewelry, but they're family heirlooms. Last time we had them valued for contents insurance they were worth more than my house, and they also have a lot of emotional value, so I very rarely wear them, in case I lose them.

All 9 seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! for $380. I know right? :3 It took my brother and I all summer to watch it all. It has horrible subtitles, but it was still an amazing buy!

Most expensive things I've ever bought is my first semester of college. Yes. It counts to me.

Most expensive thing I've ever received is my laptop. I love it too, which is good. I may get a bassoon this christmas though if my parents can find a cheap enough one. Which is doubtful.

Most expensive thing I've ever bought is either the tv or my computer. I don't remember the price of either, but their were both at least 1200 USD.

Most expensive thing given to me today, my engagement ring pricing in at about 1k USD. I only know of the price because I was there to help design it. XD

The most expensive thing I've ever bought for myself would have to be my laptop or maybe my drafting table.

The most expensive gift I have ever been given was a trip to Hawaii from my mum.
