I just moved to a new location that is far enough away from home that my body isn't used to the germys and the bacterium. I've only been here a few weeks and I'm already sick! Usually I come down with something when I've been stressed out, and I'll admit... it has been a pretty hectic week but c'mon... logically doesn't that just make matters worse?

Eugh. I'm on what I like to call "Wonder medicine" at the moment. That means 10mg Loretidine as well as lots and lots of antihistamine. For those of you who don't have a pharmaceutical parent--that just means... Claritin meets Sudafed. Yus! It clears out all of your symptoms! For me it leaves the area behind my nose feeling red and the top of my throat dry and irritated, but that's not as bad as the other symptoms I get a lot. Like stuffyness without being able to blow your nose. That's the worst. I hate getting sick. Eew...

I love your drawer of remedies that your Mom sends you from the Pharmacy. I hope I don't catch anything! :3 Being roommies though, it might happen. Hope you get better soon!

Oh man, when I moved from Oklahoma back to Kansas, my allergies flared up something awful! I managed to get tonsillitis three or four times in a six-month period, and was on antibiotics quite a bit. It SUCKED. :/ Then I had allergy tests done, which told me I was allergic to pretty much everything besides medicines and foods. I had allergy shots for about a year when I decided I could no longer afford them, and so here I am, stuffed up and sniffly come September. Ragweed season's the WORST. :/ I know how you feel. I take two antihistamines a day. I should probably take sudafed for the congestion, but I don't like how that stuff makes me feel.

I hope you get better soon! Stock up on Vitamin C and garlic. It's good for you, I swear.
