For centuries vampires and humans have lived side by side. the humans so close to finding them and yet so far. most humans never know about the vampires until it's too late but there is a small group that know and hunt them. these few hunters stay hidden very well along side with the vampires their secrets from each other and the rest of the world.

this story takes place in new york city in the modern day. the vampire race is growing stronger and slowly taking over the human society. many vamparic families own large companies and live high ranking lives while the hunters slowly die out. there are secret meeting placesthese vampires have... clubs and bars where they take their victems to feed on them. many humans never realize they're being fed from for the bite of a vampire fills them with pleasure and it's an addicting process so many do not mind either way. vampires do not need to kill for blood and their bite is not toxic. they can go out in the daylight but they prefer the night and only need a little sleep an hour or two a night. they can stand gentle light of the early morning or evening but the bright sun of the afternoon they cannot tolerate.

the hunters keep low profiles many taking smaller jobs and they kill any vampire on sight. there are only afew hunting families left while the number of vampires grows and love between these races is forbidden and if anyone if found to be the lover of a vampire they will be killed along with the vampire.... most of the time when this happens the vampire escapes and only the hunter is left to take the heat..... so what will you choose? be a blood sucking vampire or the hunter?

Personality: Renji is complex, choosing to stay a living mystery. Most of the time he is a dangerous predator that stalks the shadows. His demeanor is charming, smooth, and expressionless. This vampire is a cold, intelligent, cruel, logical, calculating predator, his heart long dead and glazed over with a thick coating of ice. He is know for being rude to everyone, mostly females both mortal and immortal. At times he can be egotistical, and arrogant. When it comes to trust and honesty things with this vampire things tend to get a little more...complicated. Honesty he appears to have no issue with. At times he can be brutally blunt, telling you how it is. Rarely does he sugar coat things trying to sweeten it up for your gain or his. If he has a problem with something, he'll let you know it. As for trust, that is a hard thing to come by. It takes a lot to gain his full trust, even a slight shard of it. Renji feels that trust only leads to pain, the exact feeling he avoids as much as he can. Yet once you some how managed to gain it, you will never regret it

Bio: Renji had what seemed to be the perfect life. His parents had well established jobs, and when it came to education Renji excelled beyond his actual age. His family was loving and close to one another, always there looking out for each other. Yet one day their happiness was disrupted. During the middle of a storming night vampires broke into their home. Slaughtered his parents in front of him, and took Renji with them and raised him as a human boy until he turned 25. Upon hitting that age, they turned him against his will. During the vampires raising him, they beat him on a daily basis and treated him like a slave. This is probably the reason why Renji is the way he is. Now he owns a multi-billion dollar company, and has no issues with earning money.

later, when she was in her teens she went to public school. she leads her normal life and keeps her hunter life sepereate from that.

Bio: At first the hunter life was not what her parents wanted for their little girl, even though vampire hunting runs in both blood lines. One night, when Ileana was six years old, her father was taking her to pick up her mother from work as an early Christmas surprise. When they got there it was already to late. Ileana was the first to discover her mother's cold corpse, long drained of blood. Ever since finding her mother dead, she had trained intensely to be the best hunter she could be. She pushed herself through school, obtaining great grades. After school days ended she was go through training. Every second, of every day was occupied with something more important. At times she would forget to eat and sleep, leading to her current slim physic. Sometimes she would make herself ill from exerting her body so much. There were a few occasions where she ended up in the hospital for a few weeks at a time. Now her life seems to have mellowed out some. She is a well known lawyer by day, and at night is a vampire huntress. Ileana is wealthy, but money means nothing to her. On some nights she will cry herself to sleep for the aching loneliness simply continues to grow. The dark void in her heart pleading to be filled with the comfort only a lover can give.

vampires.. the things of nightmares. everyone knows vampires dont exsist right? well that is where you are wrong. they are very real and they are out there in the dark hunting down their next victim. the nightmares seeking out their prey in the dark is what we fear.... it is what keeps us laying awake at night stairing at the ceiling. humans and vampires have for so long lived side by side among the humans without being detected... besidesthe ranting of an old irishman and a few others. if only they knew they had bairly scratched the surface of this secret world. the streets of new york crouded as people hustle to where ever it is they need to go and they never notice even the most obvious around them.

some humans are not so oblivious to these creatures. their families are old but slowly dieing. they spend most of their lives seeking out those who drink the blood of humans and kill them... however many die in the process. hunters rarely have more than two children and that is the case for young sophia. she was born into the higher ranking of hunter families. wealth held nothing for her and her name was merely a name to her. she was a weapon to kill those of the dark and thats what she thought of herself as. her long silken blonde hair swayed back and forth slightly as she walked the streets after school. her uniform hugging her body as her messanger bag was filled with weapons. today was going to be her first true hunt. she had recently turned 19 and it would be the first time on her own. she had been slaying with her older sister and father for several years but now she controled everything. it was her time to shine and she was terrrified. her heart beat rapidly within her chest as her ice blue eyes scanned over the people she passed. slowly the sun started to move and the sky was turning a soft shade of red. time seemed to simply fly passed her as she walked knowing just where she was going or so she thought.

sarah began her normal day hours of nothing but shoping online until the sun set for her to go out and have some fun at the clubs. she stretched her limbs by walking over to the balcony of her high rise apartmen she loved that her dad owned one of the bigest buildings in new york she could get whatever she wanted with her name weither it be a apartment, men or clothes all by just being the daughtor of a man who struck fear in the hearts of people "daddys not going to like the bill for this one." she laughed as she looked out across new york "mabye he might even make me get a job oh that would be the day." she went back inside and started to change into something alittle more fun "time to play." she left the house with nothing but a small purse full of creditcards. she looked around as she left the building it was getting late for woman and their kids so why were their still kids "doesnt anyone have a bed time anymore." she didnt care anymore so she just kept walking until she hit the bigest club in the city "hey big guy." she looked at the bouncer who smiled at her and let her in she could hear the line waiting to get in make noise but she didnt care she knew who and what she wanted right now and she was going to get it. the music was blaring "how many times can you say just dance in a song without blowing your brains out." she laughed and continued looking around until she came across a very familier face "hey mark lets go somewere alittle more quiet." she nodded in the direction of the vip booths he just smiled and started walking with her to the booths. once their she pushed him into a seat and sat on his lap were she could get a good look at her preys neck she then sunk her teeth into him drinking deeply.

Sophia

sophia had found her way toone of the many 'blood clubs' that populated the city. these clubs were places where vampires could bring their prey or meet those willing to be drained of their lifes fluid. slipped into an empty alley she quickly changed her clothing having a black torn baby-tee with clitter on it under her uniform and a black and red pleeted skirt. she pulled out heels and some jewelry. sophia hated dressing like this but it was how she was able to enter the clubs and she secretly liked looking so cute. with her messanger bag stowed away she had a small dagger strapped to her inner thigh and a small hand gun with bullets filled with holy water....

then she made her way towards the club eyeing the bouncer who seemed to eye her as well. she flashed him a sweet smile and she was in... smirking to herself with her small victory she entered the club the music instantly annoying her as she scanned the club for anyone she could take down. this was her first hunt alone and she wouldnt fail.. she couldnt fail. then she saw a young women leading a very willing looking boy towards the vip booths... sophia growled sickened by how willin the boy seemed and she slowly followed waiting for the vampire to make her move. then she saw it just as the vip door was closing the girl had plundged her fangs into the boys skin. "damn.... i have to get in there" she growled

sarah finished him off and looked back into his eyes "you wont remember a thing got it my little blood bank." she kissed his forhead and left the vip room he was still breathing. she knew that someone was watching her but she didnt really care she was on a blood high seems he was drunk making her alittle intoxicated "damn i thought you said you were going to be sober you lier." she smiled at the bar tender who was mixing something for her already "to clear your head" he knew that the guy was drunk so he was trying to help her get her thoughts together before leaving "thanks hun put it on my bill." she downed the drink then got up from her stool alittle to fast and she stumbled "damnit." she hated being drunk it made he fell vunerable and with other vampires that were waiting for her to slip up she had to be on her guard all the time.

Madeline sat at her computer searching on and on about clubs and vampires.
"Now which one....." Madeline loved to Hunt vampires. She would spend hours making lists of Vampires and clubs. But today was different; This one club caught her eye...
"That's just around the corner...right there" She thought to herself...

"Maddie! Were going to the ring! Come if you want too!" Madeline's dad called
"Uh, I'll sit this out tonight!" Madeline hollered back.

Madeline had made tonight and vampire club night. She looked through her closet but she couldn't find anything. "This is what I get for living with dudes..." she muttered. Madeline found her black short dress she usually wore on funerals; and head out making sure her family didn't see her.

"Hey Cody, tell mom I'm goi'n out to the club." She looked back to see him nod, his eyes still staring into the desktop. As Stella was opening the door- she stopped to look back at him, his ireses blackening from hunger. "You sure you don't wanna come?" Stella asked raising her head a little. "No, me and Sarah are going out in a little while. She better hurry, I'm starving my ass off." He looked over at Stella and grinned, "Thanks anyway." Stella grabbed her purse "Alright. See ya Cody." she told him before closing the door.

Stella did'nt live but a few blocks from the Blood Club. Before Stella turned the corner to the front of the club, she morphed into what seemed a 21 year old. Sella turned the corner as she smiled her usual smile at the bouncer and stepped in the club. Stella's eyes were hungriley glancing around the room, looking for her beloved blood bank- Tobi.

A hand was placed on her shoulder and she could hear the sweet voice of Tobi asking "Hungry?" Stella turned around and gave him a devilish smile. "Yeah- starving..." Tobi cut through the crowd into one of the VIP rooms and plopped down on a lounge chair. Stella casually laid down beside him and pulled his head closer. Stella played with him for a second, and then bit down onto his neck and sucked his dark red A+ blood. Stella's favorite.

Sophia

sophia had walked down into the main part of the clubwaiting for the vampire who had walked into the vip room with the boy. she glanced around noticing the girl.s he seemed tipsy like the blood was sited with alcohol. smirking she knew the girl would be off her normal strength and it would be the perfect time to try and make her move but she had to wait. there were too many vampires around and she knew if she tried they'd tear her apart within minutes. standing and making her way towards the girl she made it seem normal swaying her hips to the music as she moved. sophia looked like any other girl in the club but she had a goal... a sinister point to make. this was her night and she would prove herself.

she clung to the necklace around her neck. it was a small silver cross and when twisted the right way a small needle came out and the victim could be injected with holy water. this was one of the very few weapons she carried on her at all times. her eyes scanned the club once more making sure she was not being noticed. the vampires mixed with humans so well... no one would be able to tell i not trained. the humans seemed to be having fun but many were simply puppets and bait to lure fresh doners.... "stupid people... dont they understand they're just going to be the meal sooner or later.." sophia hissed softly shaking her head

sarah might have been drunk but she knew that she was going to be called out "well this should be fun." looking at the girl that was weaving her way to her she smiled and did alittle wave "you need to talk to me hun remember we are not alone right now." she smiled at her best friend who was also a very strong vampire woman.

Sophia

sophia heard the young women speak as she neared her. she glanced over at the other young vampire women and she nodded. she gripped the necklace that laced around her neck gracefully. she felt her heart speeding up slightly as she stood near the vampire wanting to go for the attack but she knew it was dangerous. she could handle one vampire alone but two would certainly prove to be a problem plus they were in a bar filled with vampire loyals and vampires themselves. she growled softly under her breath hating how vampires seemed to group together. "afraid to 'talk' to me alone?" sophia asked taunting slightly

Stella had finished off a good amount of blood from Tobi-- she licked the remains blood from her lips as she began to sit up. Stella leaned down and oh so gentley kissed Tobi on the lips. "Luff you Tobi...!" She gave him another meschieviouse smile as she walked off.

Stella began to wipe some blood off of her pink cheek and bumped into a blone, dressed up in black, nervousley grasping her necklace. "Oh, sorry!" She apologized and stepped back a little.

Sophia

surprisingly sophia felt someone bumping into her then she heard a lyrical voice excusing themselves. vampirea had a voice that was sweeter then music and she knew she must have been one of them. she turned to face the young girl seeing the remints of her fresh meal. she raised a brow "it's alright... but you really should be more careful..." she spoke softly holding her necklace. "it's not safe you never know who you'll bump into"

Stella faked a sweet smile and said "Thank you." as she read Sophia's mind. Her eyes widened just as she swung around. "What's she thinking, coming in here?!" She paniced in her own mind. "But... She's surrounded by vampires and our loyals... There's no possible way she could get anyone."Stella calmed as she sat at the bar, noticing one of the she-vampires that usually came around. " Sarah!" She loudley whispered.

a soft chuckle escaped sophia soft full lips as she heard the words from the young female vampire. "dont under estimate me love... and you might think i'm alone but i'm not... " she winked at her getting her confidence restored to her. she ordered a drink and she stayed near by watching. she wouldnt give up and she would follow threw one way or another she would kill a vampire tonight.... there were plenty to choose from

May walked down the street.She just got into town and was looking around a bit.Curious to see what this town was about.She looked around walking down streets.She noticed a Blood Club and walked inside.She looked around as the music blared. "Great." May said.She walked up to the bar and saw a few people talking.One was wearing a necklace,the other was a bit drunk.May luaghed and leaned against the bar,watching people dance.

Ileana
The steady rhythm of rain sounded though the apartment. The falling aqua crashed against the chilled window panes. Drops of the H2O washed down the glass. Thunder echoed in the darkness that shrouded the city. Flashes of electric blue illuminated all that was black, a long bolt of lightening streaked across the ebony laced heavens. Dense clouds blocked the haunting glow of the stars and crescent moon. Still breaths exhaled from the lungs confined in the rib cage of a fragile form. Smooth back rested tenderly against a wall, the hazel gaze watching the hypnotic dance of the crackling flames. Creamy hued flesh glew with the heat of the orange and yellow fire. Brunette locks streamed around the angelic face, damp with the moisture of the down pour. Nimble hands tossed photographs into the fire place. Photos of a once serene, tranquil life. A life that no longer held any meaning.

If only our past was so easy to dispose of. All it would take would be a simple gesture, and it would be consumed by fire. Pain, agony, the tears all burnt to ashes. Reduced to a pile of smoldering embers. No longer around to bring despair, nor to twist dreams into nightmares. It would be gone for all eternity. Remains shoveled away into the trash once the heat extinguished, or even carried away upon the whispering of a gentle breeze. Yet the past, no matter how grim it may be, was always hard to be rid of. It plagued happiness, prevented one from fully ever moving on. All that could be done was to grin and bare it, in hopes it might fade away into the dark oblivion that threatened to suck one into it’s turbulent depths. But was happiness, the feeling of joy and the emotion of love, just a mere illusion? Whether they are or are not, there was always a catch 22. An invisible trap waiting to snare it’s unsuspecting victim. Was giving lover your all just simply not enough? The dark work and dedication put forth only to be rewarded by pain?

The thoughts turned over in her mind. Stomach clenching with the wave of uneasiness drowning her. Intense, dark gaze was puffy and bloodshot. Dry from the hours she spent crying over the lose of love. Cheeks stained, damp from the hot trails of tears. She could not cry any longer, all the water drained from her tear ducts. If there were some left, she would weep more. A shudder coursed through the agile build of the lone huntress. Heart constricted painfully as she tossed yet another photo into the hot flames. The pain seemed to be unreal. Agony tore away at her until she was left raw of all emotions. A soft of numbness swept over her mind, body, and soul trying to ease the pain. Sadly nothing could ease the pain that she felt. She had not expect any of this to happen. No one, nothing, could have prepared her for the horrific outcome, and tragic events that and unraveled her life. Who knew that forbidden love could be so fulfilling and agonizing at the same time.

Her heart continued to ache as the slender fingers picked up the only remaining photograph. Pools of brunette examined the picture, as if memorizing it. Two eyes glanced back at her. Two smiles allowing the happiness the camera capture to radiate into the abysmal darkness of her life. She remembered that moment perfectly. It was taken shortly before her lover, and her made sweet, romantic love for the first time. They seemed so happy, so carefree, as if nothing could break their ever lasting bond. The acidic taste of hatred clogged her dry mouth. A lump forming once more in the base of her throat. Fresh molten tears rolled down her tender flesh. Her fingertips clenched the image as she contemplated whether to toss the bitter sweet memory into the scorching heat of the flames, or keep it as a taunting reminder of what she use to have with the crème skinned goddess? The relationship with Alexa had gone south after she found out that Ileana was a vampire huntress. She deemed Ana as insane, and stuck in a fairy tale world.

A soft snorted erupted from the pale nostrils as Ana’s chest heaves with the frustration. The right arm fell to her side as the nimble fingertips released the captured memory to the ivory carpet beneath her. Ileana would allow herself to keep the photo, but it would be hidden until she could stand the burning sensation it brought to the beating muscle caged in the bone confines. The back of her cranium hit the wall with a gentle force as eyelids clenched tight over hazel eyes. The lava heated water poured down the tender cheeks, dripping from her lower jaw line. Drawing in a depth breath, Ileana pushed herself up off of the floor before allowing her to stagger towards the bookshelf. Flipping a switch it turned around revealing her weapons. Taking the two twin handguns, she slipped them into the front of her pants. Sliding into a long black leather trench coat, it concealed the outlining of the guns. Slipping a few rounds of ultraviolet ammunition into the trench coat pockets she put on a pair of dark heels.

It hardly took long for her to arrive at the club. The bouncer knew Ana and allowed her to come in undetected. Long, slender legs moved her with ease and fluid grace across the room. Dark eyes scanned the crowd around her. Muscles tensing slightly under the thin layers of clothing, Ileana was always on edge around vampires. Who could blame the lawyer? She had found her mother's cold corpse drained of all blood. She pushed her way pass those on the dance floor, and stalked over to the bar. Sinking into a seat in the far corner, she watched and waited for any vampire who she could lure out to the ally and kill. Her guns were in easy reach just in case something happened.

Off in the near distance, Ana noticed her friend Sophia talking to a complete stranger. A vampire no doubt since the club was crawling with leechs. She stood slowly to not to alert anyone. With a few swift, sweeping strides, Ileana was approaching from behind Sarah. Catching the vampire's statement, lush lips tugged back into a wicked smirk. Her right hand resting gently against the handle of her one gun. "Now who, my dear, said she was alone?" Words purred off in a dangerous, yet inviting tone. Walking slowly around Sarah, she now stood at Sophia's left side. In the dim dance lights the handle of Ana's hand crafted weapons shimmered with a dull sparkle. That cocky, tempting grin stayed plastered upon full lips.



Renji
A tall, handsome man walked through the streets. He seemed to be gliding with each sturdy step. The vampire male stalked the city, looking for his next meal. Renji was not one who normally killed for food, simply took enough to keep him going for another week. Feeding was rare for R. He viewed this as a curse, the damning of his soul for whatever reason. Also it was on only extreme occasions he used his powers. Being a vampire was something he hated, looked upon like a disease. This life was forced upon him by the blood suckers who slaughtered his parents, then changed him so many years later after abusing him and treating him like a home slave. It sickened him to know these creatures could be so cold, cruel, and ruthless. Aren't you the same way Renji? The thoughts creeped their way into his mind as he walked to the club.

Renji was one of the older vampires, but his age did not show physically. His age was apparent by the way he spoke, and acted.
