It starts getting freaky when you do something, then the thought of, "Ah, damn, I need to reset this...wait. >___>" automatically pops into your head and you wonder where the 'Load' button went. Then you remember that it's RL and not a video game. And feel remorseful for it not being a game so you could reset it. x__x;

Stuff like this has happened to me on many occasions, I guess that's a sign I play too many video games in general. It depends what game I'm playing at the time. Whenever I play a game I get addicted to it for a while. I definatly see Silent Hill looking things everywhere, and I constantly dream about it. Stuff from video games leak into my writing all the time, too.

You know when you play video games too much when you finally turn off the computer, look out the window, and see it's nearly dawn. ;)

I've had dreams about Oblivion, and sometimes have wondered about the possibility of using Welkynd stones or Varla stones as power sources for lightsabers.

i just moved and now i'm in a place where i see fog every morning. well i play lots and lots of silent hill and the place i'm at just happens to look a lot like the main town parts that you go into. every time i wake up i look out the window and wonder whats going to come out of that fog.

the other day the fog was so bad that i ws supposed to go out with my husband to be, but i refused to go because i was too scared. now we just make afternoon plans instead of mornings.

i don't think that he will ever stop making fun of me for that so i am laying off the games for a while.

True life story about playing Tales of Symphonia.

You know you play video games too much when...

when your little brother falls asleep with the controller in his hand and you set him on semi-auto, in case he wakes up again. When you stay up to watch the sun set and sun rise in one sitting. And you are still playing the game. When you rarely get up to eat and only drink, sending your brother to get drinks. When you take the game cube and game and controllers to your father's house and your nieces birthday (we were only there for a few hours) and still play that game, when you barely turned off your system, when you save a billion times because you think the system is going to explode. When your sister, who was 2P, left and you recorded the gameplay so she didn't miss anything, when you were so tired that you missed obvious stairs and couldn't move on and then watch the video and see how dumb you are. And then you called your sister to tell her what was happening also like "OMFG I JUST GOT PRESEA. SHE IS SO AWESOME! SHE KNOWS BEAST!" When you beat a 2 disc game in a few days and normal gameplay was 70 hours and you beat in 68 hours.

AND THEN YOU PLAYED IT OVER.

When you dream about your favorite character all the time. I've had many dreams about Miklotov from Suikoden II. I also want to get the Soul Eater rune tattooed on my hand.

I used to have to walk through this path to get to my boyfriend's house, and this one part was this really tight turn with bushes surrounded it.. so basically, it was dark and you were completely surrounded by tall bushes on all sides.
And every time I walked through it, I expected something to jump out behind me and scream
"TE DRASTA DI IMBECILE!"
(And I'm sorry if I butchered that. xD)

Because I like RE4 too much.

Also, I seriously think it would be awesome if my wedding cake was the Pedestal of Time and rather than going through the ceremonial cutting of the cake my boyfriend and I could just pull a replica of the Master Sword out of it. I mean, wouldn't that be awesome!?
...No?

Fabby, the wedding cake idea is awesome in my opinion. Im jealous I didn't think of it first, lol!

You know you play games too much when you continually fall asleep playing but still refuse to put the controller down.

Im sure you all know that familiar head bob? Or when you go to hit a button and realize your reaction time is almost zero? Lol! I do that so much.

you know you're obsessed with video games when you dream about them, or see them when you close your eyes. for me, when i get obsessed with simple games like solitair or tetris, is see them when i close my eyes. it's very irritating when i'm tryng to sleep.

You know you play video games too much when the managers at the local Game Stop know you by name and decide to ask you to work at the store so you're not just wasting time hanging around there.

Also, when you accomplish aminor goal in real life, you hear the Final Fantasy victory fanfare in your head.

*eats a piece of toast*
*fanfare music plays* Talentless_Muse has defeat wild Toast. Talentless_Muse had levelled up.
"Really? Go me!"

One more. When you hear a song, you visualize it as if you were playing it in Guitar Hero/Rock Band.

@Talentless_Muse ~ I hear the Final Fantasy fanfare in my head from time to time. ;D

But it's usually for things more accomplished than eating a piece of toast.

That was just an example, Howdy. I don't eat toast enough for that to actually happen to me. The other two examples are true though.

You know you play video games too much when you act them out in real life.

-When you go out somewhere and you point at a particular object and try to explain the meaning of it from the videogame you played and why it's so funny to your friends/family.

-When you beat the game, feel accomplished, and then erase the saved data and redo everything you just did.

-When you try to make a costume of the video game character and try to get people to cosplay with you exactly like how the video game is supposed to go.

-When you go to Gamestop frequently to buy another new game or hear about new releases from the employees.

-When you constantly hint to your parents that you want the particular video game while they go out shopping and you tag along.

I'm mostly a Harvest Moon/Final Fantasy junkie. Basically anything that has to do with anime or the likes, I will buy it and play it. I'm currently playing FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus again for the 27th time. I'm obsessing over Vincent. The smexy beast. >:3

Sometimes when I play a video game for hours at a time, I end up dreaming about playing it. Then the next day I play it some more.

You know you play video games to much when....have a victory pose after you won an arguement. (Such as swinging a broom up onto your shoulder and then posing. Think FFVII after a battle)

when your watching your boss trying to make somthing work, you know how to fix it so you just look at him and say "your such a noob!" and fix it yourself in a blink. he looked at me funny, the face was priceless.

or your at the market and you randomly hear the Achivement noise from xbox, and you look directly to the bottom of your yes sight waiting for the little icon to show up in real life. then you just laugh at yourself.

You know you play too much videogames when you start talking like the characters in them. lol. I find myself quoting Solid Snake and Alfred Ashford quite a bit. XD

I have an over-active imagination, so I'm very prone to doing stuff like this quite a bit.

When you wonder how big your Katamari would have to be to roll that up. It's pretty bad when you start comparing Katamari Damacy to real life.

When I was playing Okami, I'd try to think of how I could use different brush strokes in real like. For instance, I'd see leafless, trees, and want to use the restoration brush stroke on them.

Whenever I exercise, I think about it in tears of leveling up. When I've had a particularly good exercise, I'll sing the FF theme song in my head.

Whenever I hear a clinking noise, I automatically shout "GRENADE!" It's a little embarrasing...

Such a thing has only happened to me a few times, I'm afraid. XD First time was after I'd been spending the whole day playing Dark Cloud 2... My mom asked me to take the garbage out, and the moment I stepped out side I found myself freaking out going because Outside looked completely wrong and "amg why aren't those trees pixel-ly?! D8" Realized what happened and laughed my head off at myself. XD

The second time was just a silly little thing. :B I'd been playing a lot of WoW recently, so yeah. Anyways, my headphones slipped off my head and fell to the floor. I literally dived off my chair after them screeching "MY HEADPIECE!" XD;
