A while back I was checking the site feedback and I saw jelly post this:

So I figured, I'll make an outfit with the ragged shirt to challenge myself to see if I could make it look decent.

o.o well... how'd I do?
Has anyone else tried making the ragged shirt "stylish"? Did you succeed?

Well, it's not stylish but I think you could add a bit moer layers to it and I think it would work. Anything is possible really ^^

Hm, you know I actually think they had a contest like this in project mene a few cycles ago. If I remember correctly, some people came up with a lot of awesome stuff ^^

Yush, that is true. I won that cycle of project Mene. :P

We were given these items as our starting point, and I think we had to keep the same hair colour, too, but not the style:

And I made this:

Oh! We were also only allowed to use an additional 4k on top of what we started with. I like my entry. I could probably spiffy it up a bit more now since there's better layering and many more items. (:

I definitely think that the Ragged Shirt can be spiffied up! =O <3<3

Btw, Springy, love the avatar!
I like what you did with the shirt. ^^

Spring actually won that round of PM with that entry <3

I use my ragged top every couple of months. Depends on if I'm in the mood to want to try something new with it as we get new items.

I bought and love a Ragged Shirt. But since I got a pretty limited inventory, I haven't had much of a chance to use it. XD

I purchased the shirt a month or three ago specifically to try to "do" something interesting with it. The reason I still can't work with it is because of the way it hangs... It's rare to have something layer over it that "works" for me.... And by "working", I mean that the item can't look pasted on top of it... it has to look as if someone is actually wearing the item overtop of the shirt. And generally - to me - it doesn't look that way, so I get frustrated and give up. >_>;

I'm sure in the future we'll have something that will "work" for me. Will be happy when that happens. >_>;

@ CK - D: I totally get what you're talking about there. It really bothers me if something layers weird and has something from the bottom layer sticking out when it shuoldn't be sticking out. Yanno?

Yeah. :x Sometimes that can create an interesting effect... but more often it just looks shoddy. And if you can't cover up that odd "gap" with another item to layer overtop, it's just not worth doing.

To me.

Okay, so I tried to make the Ragged Shirt seem tighter to the body than it really is. >.>;;

The white veil shouldn't be there, but there's no option for it in the MAC, so, umm, just imagine it isn't there? xDD;;
Not the nicest MAC, but my main goal was to slim down the shirt. =\

I'm sure someone could make it work. If not then it would go pretty well with if the Avi was used as a RP character image. I suppose.... I never bought one, because I don't know if they were around when I was a newbie. but then again it also wasn't white...

Maybe I don't always match it, but the ragged shirt is one of my "key" items.
I always use it in the outfit I have now and another very simple one, but I don't find it too hard to use..

I don't have a picture or anything, but while back, around christmas, I paired it with some green leggings, a belt, red elf shoes, silver hair and elf ears, and I think that worked okay. You guys are all way more creative than I was though :P

You know what I'd like to see with the ragged shirt? A cosplay of the old hag from The Princess Bride : ) I think that'd be pretty funny.
