Heidi was suddenly surprised by the female voice that was, from what she could tell, the one that she had heard shouting earlier. She looked around to see if she could spot the woman, but saw only movement in shadows, which may not even have been a person to begin with. Unsure as to where to look, she let her eyes wander as she spoke, "I am Heidi, Heidi Bauer. I heard there was a group here... of Nobodies?" said, but added an unintentional inquisitive tone to it, hoping to get an answer of whether she was in the correct place or not.

She continued looking around, but now she wasn't looking for the woman- now she was taking in the once dismal church. Heidi took a few steps deeper into the building, looking around, but being careful as to where she stepped, not wanted to hit a spot that could lead to disaster, seeing as enough disaster had already happened upon this, what appeared to be, a once beautiful church.

Heidi had stopped after the few steps, not wanting to alarm the other- or others- in the building. She realized she must look odd... Gun strapped to her back, but a medical bag in her hand, and wearing a nurse's uniform. Somethings just couldn't be helped though. The medical bag hadn't left her side since she was taken to Germany, nor had she worn anything but a nurse's uniform since then either. The gun on her back, and the pistol she had hidden, were for the most obvious of reasons. One couldn't simply walk out the door unprotected in these trying times, especially when you were on the run, or presumed dead.

((OOC: It's fine. You post really well for a short-ish post. =] Awww... I hate when I can't find the WiFi signal. ]= *Is on her own laptop at the moment* ))

[Thank you. ^^ Its driving me nuts because I need the laptop to do my school work! -Tear-]

Tanja fallowed after her, "Wait." She was now standing in light allowing the girl to see her, still in her old uniform, "Fallow me in," She said stepping infront of her, "The men...They are quick to point guns." She paused before stoping on the stairs and turning back to Heidi, "If they are still holding on to them." She walked down and did the knock that she was instructed to do if she should come back from her exploring. "There is a girl here, asking about The Nobodies." She told them stepping in.

Quickly getsturing for Heidi to fallow after her. "Come, come. They will just have a few quick questions for you." She said. Tanja walked quickly to find Antoni, when in the same room as him she looked back in wait for Heidi. Turning to her right Tanja found a wheeled chair and pulled it out. Placing it in the center of the room for Heidi. "Here." She said, instructing her to sit.

Antoni looked at her strangely causeing Tanja to question him, "What is it?"

"You take to this quickly...Just about to quickly."

"Sorry, taking orders and giving them is somthing I would like to think my self good at."

"You are not in the position to be giving orders, only taking them, now take this one and leave the room." He hissed, annoyed with Tanja's quick setteling in. "Now, what is your name?" He asked Heidi.

(( OOC: GAH! That sucks! Sorry my post was so short this time, and possibly didn't make sense. I'm really sick, but didn't want to apandon the RP. CX ))

Heidi tensed, but followed the woman to where she was leading. She wasn't sure what kind of trouble she was in, but from the looks of the girl, it could quite possibley be immense. Heidi pulled the gun from her back and placed it in her lap, and her medic bag on the floor as she sat in the wheelchair. She looked at the faces of those around her, trying to measure their character.

She looked from the woman to the man, not sure who was the superior until the woman was instructed to leave the room. Then, as though on auto-pilot, she spoke before thinking, "Heidi Bauer, sir."

[If your sick rest! You could have told me and I would put the RP on hiatus until your well or Cheap_Date was over again. ><]

Antoni nodded when she answered her name, "Where are you from?" He asked then his eyes fell more intentively on her gun that was laid across her lap. Antoni's eyes darted to Kamli and he nodded his head toward the gun, "Kamli please take her weapon..." He paused looking at her even closer and seeing the medic bag, "And the bag...Go get Tanja. She's more then likely itching to do something, have her go through the bag to be sure that the only things in there are of medicinal value."

"Right." Kamli responed walking off through the door Heidi's gun over his shoulder and his hands wrapped around her bag.

(( TCH-NUH UH! I'm stuck home, completely house-bound, for a week, I need SOMETHING to do with my life! lol. Besides, I love roleplaying. xP))

Heidi held the butt of the gun towards the one called Kamli and before he moved away she said, "Oh, wait." and took the pistol from under her skirt, "You might feel better knowing I'm not hiding a concealed as well." she smiled a little. She knew it was quite possibley a very bad idea to hand over all her weaponry, but she did need to prove she could be trusted. She knew nothing other than medical supplies was in the bad, so other than that, she had nothing to worry about. Then, she looked back to Antoni, "I was born and raised in Austria, where I was trained in nursing, before the Nazis found me useful and took me into Germany." she answered fully. Heidi looked around, taking every thing in.

Antoni nodded whild Heidi spoke, "I see." His eyes staided on her as he contempated what to do with her. She was ovibously being trust worth because she even handed over her consieled pistol. "Alright, We'll let you in." He said standing and reaching a hand out, "You can meet back up with Tanja in the bunk room, when she's done going thorugh your things of course...You know your lucky that you showed up today or it would be a man going through them." Antoni joked.

Heidi smiled a little and took his hand, standing up. "Thank you, sir." She was in, she was finally in! She was beyond happy to have found hte side she truly belonged to at last. She did however have enough dignity not to get completely giddy; she did hide most of her excitement.

"I wouldn't have minded if a man went through it either, I have gotten used to men going through my things at thie point." It was true. All she had encoutered in her "military career" were men, so that's who she had to deal with. She was used to the feeling she got from it now, so it wouldn't have phased her. "But when may I have my guns and bag back, exactly?" she asked. Heidi had gotten very attached to the only three things she ever carried anymore, and she felt naked, overexposed, without them. She realized there was protocol, but she still had to think about herself as well.

Antoni gestured out the door, "Lets go see how far along Tanja is." He said walking out the door and pauseing for a moment to for Heidi, "I'm sure it won't be long, Tanja seems rather energtic about getting or giving orders. Also if she is lagging I can wip her into shape." He teased walking along the long corrador until the light behind the barrack's door shined out. Antoni opened the door finding his older buddies of The Nobodies sill up playing poker, Rolf was out cold on the bunk above Tanja's, whild Tanja was seated on her lower legs her hands submerged in the black bag.

"Well what have you found?"

"Nothing, every thing checks out." She said handing the bag over to Heidi and then turn to give her the guns back.

Heidi followed Antoni, observing everything as she went. She looked to see Tanja on her bunk, or what Heidi assumed it must have been, and looked down at the black bag, Heidi's black bag. She smiled a little, as the woman handed it back, and she felt safer again, having her guns. Safer, but not safe; safe was an impossible feeling to come by those days.

"Thank you." she said as she accepted her things back, "Now, is that all, or is there anything else for me to do?" She strapped her gun over one shoulder, and replaced the pistol under her skirt.

Tanja cracked her neck and yawned loudly. "I don't know and really don't care." She said with a laugh, falling back on to her bed. "So, you should just go to sleep, because I don't know what we'll have to do tomorrow." She told her. Tanja was quick to fall asleep and then once again wake up to the should of shuffeling and walking. The causer of these noises was Antoni. She asked him what time it was and he replied that it was morning.

Heidi nodded and took the nearest available bunk. She set her things next to it, hiding her guns behind the bag, sort of under her bed, and climbed in. She soon found a way she was comfortable, and fell asleep.

Heidi had always been an early riser, and the first sign that it could be morning, her body automatically awoke. She looked around to see some of the others up already, including Antoni, and figured she wasn't as early a riser as she thought she had been. She wasn't sure what to do next. Then she heard Tanja was awake, and she went over to her bunk, "Morning." she said quietly.
She wasn't so quick to go to Tanja because she was another woman, but rather because she was the first one to talk to her. Somehow, it made sense to Heidi.

"Good morning." Tanja said turn about to see Heidi, "How did you sleep?" She asked her, stretching while she did this. "What do we have to eat around here?" She asked turning to Antoni. Her stomach growling under her clothing, she blushed. "I didn't really eat yesterday." Her face getting redder as the noise so reverberated.

Rolf stirred to the sound of people talking. He recognized some of the voices, but there where two girls, one was the camp guard he patched up the night before. the other was forgein to him. she didn't sound Polish. in fact she sounded German, but different somehow. He sat up and through his legs to one side. he looked under his bunk and saw Tanya and a new girl.

"Guten morgen" he said a little confused. "Um, are you new?" He felt embarrassed afterwords, not knowing if she was here before he was.

"Oh, Rolf!" She ran to the side of Heidi and threw an arm over her shoulder, "This is Heidi," Tanja nodded, "She joined after you went to bed last night." Tanja explained, "I don't know why, but this reminds me." Tanja turned to Antoni, "Last night. Didn't you say something about a new gun and out fit?" She asked him. Slightly confused, because she didn't fully remember if he did say that.

"The gun, that I have, but..." He stood up both hands out from the side of him, "Do I look like I would need ladies clothing laying around here?" He asked tilting his head slightly.

"Not at all...Least I hope not..." She paused the image of Antoni in a dress slightly scaring her. "Well then what is my gun?" She asked him, Antoni jerked his head one way to an open door that lead off in to a room with no light. "In there?" She asked pointing.

"Yeah, tall box." He gestured to the approximate height of the wooden box that would contain her weapon, "One corner, is sorta beaten up." He mentioned while Tanja walked off looking for her new gun. "As for the outfit..." His eyes landed on Rolf with a devilish smirk. Seeing as he was the new guy, Rolf still needed to get made fun of. "Why don't you barrow some of his, just so your not seen in that." Antoni laughed motioning to her out fit.

Rold shook of Antoni's remark. "Hello," He said to Heidi. He hopped down to the floor with a clack. He grabbed his coat and boots and sat down to put them on. "So Tanya, what kind of gun did you get?" He stood up and began to put his ammo pouches on.

He slung his MP40's strap over his shoulder and walked over Tanya to look at her gun.

Tanja made a few squeaking noises as she opened up the crate, and finally pulled out the little monster that was to be her gun, "A Russian DP-27!" She nearly shouted. The gun made her drool, it was just under her nose, but it was light. (For a gun of that size) Her hands trailed over the circular barrel that held forty seven shiny ready to slaughter bullets. "T-Thank you..." She muttered, not able to take her eyes of the pretty gun.

Antoni's eye brow was raised, "Usually you only get that kind of reaction out of a women if you've given her jewelry..." He teased slightly. Sitting down and leaning back in his chair, the wood creaking under him. "Now the question is, how long until you would be able to set, aim, and fire that in a reasonable time?" He asked her.

Tanja responded, "What's a reasonable time?"

"How's under a minute sound?" He asked her. Tanja nodded.

"Where's the target practice?" She asked him. Her face cold and stern, ready to prove her self.

Rolf saw the gun that Tanja held and let out a whistle. He saw some of the Soviet troops had those when they had invaded Poland. The size of the gun next to the girl made him laugh on the inside. He was now a little scared of Tanja, he never really knew girls to be gun enthusitists. But then again she was in the army.

Gorski walked into the room as at the end of Antoni's and Tanya's conversation. "Target practice?" He smiled a little. "There's no need to pratice when right out side in any direction is the real thing!" He walked into the middle of the room and instantly took the attention of the whole room.

"Today, we have recived word that an shipment of food for the German forces is schedualed to reach German main base at 12 sharp this afternoon. And i don't think i need to tell you what we plan on doing to it. Now if you want to eat today you'll head down to the old apartment building on the corner of 6th street and 45th."

"The truck," he continued. "Will come from 6th and turn west on 45th. a road block with be place on 45th and snipers will be stationed in the apartment building. And i don't want one ounce of mercy be given to those bastards. The food will be brought back. and i mean every crumb."

Tanja swallowed and nodded, "Right." She answered. She turned her head slightly to Rolf when he made the light whistle. "What?" She asked him, putting more weight on her left hip. Both her arms were crossed, and she wore a mocking smirk. "Does the gun suite me?" She teased, trying to be a bit of a lady.

Rolf laughed. "A little bit, and that's the scary part."

The outside world was cold, even colder than concrete of the church. But the whole world seemed this inescapable cold as then jumped and ran in and out of the rubble and buildings. the gray of what is now Warsaw blended together and made it hard to run through.

Tanja was trying her hardest to stay quick and nimble, but the gun over her shoulder made it hard to run, mostly because it was dragging every so often, finally she swung it up and on to her shoulder, running a bit faster and with more easy. Soon she was nearly side by side with Rolf. In Tanja's chest how ever she could feel the antisipation building up. That she was going to not just be on the side lines, but the front lines for the first time.

Her breath became a little shaky. How would her father react to this? His little girl going to kill her own kind? One of the first women to fight on the front lines ever...Would he feel a little pride or disown her compleatly? Tanja shook her head, now was not the time to be thinking of such things. She knew that she could do it. Her speed met Rolf's then surpasted him.

She skidded to a stop, "Here." She whispered, not wanting to tip of any one that could have been sent a head to scout out the path, to make sure there was no one there. Her arm was straight out, pointing to the opened door. Just standing made Tanja feel the sting of her old injury. She only flinched slightly, but refused to acknowledge it any further.

Rolf ran out and stopped next to Tanja, he leaned against a wall and started panting. he slid down the wall and sat on the floor of the apartment building. He forced himself up and staggered over to a window that looked out into the street. "Ok then..." He looked around and saw the road signs. Then looked for anything to make a road block out of.

In a little bit all of the team was finding anything they could to pile up on the road. it wasn't a very good road block, it was more just rubble they pushed back into the road, but it would have to do.

"Wait, whose going to be positioned where?" Rolf asked looking at everyone around him.

Antoni panted putting on of the final rocks into place, "Well...Tanja, you take one of the higher up rooms, Rolf and Kamil will go with you, to shot while you reload. Then Heidi, Gorski, and my self will hide down here, to cut them off from running into the building or shooting up towards you." Antoni suggested. Willing to allow any one to make an objection as to were they want to be placed or a better placement plan.

Tanja nodded, she walked into the building and looked about, trying to find away up into the ruined building. There was an old stair well that was completely exposed, but for the most part in tact, through some of the ripped floor boards she could see that there was a good spot about three floors up. "Rolf...Kamil." She said pointing up to the position that she found. "What about up there? We could block off the stairs a little bit to, you know put some of the rubble in the way..." She suggested, not sure if it would work.

((Geez, you guys like making me play catch up! D= Lol ))

Heidi smiled as Tanja awoke, "Uhm, I'm not really sure. You would know better than I." she laughed. Heidi could feel that pang of hungar in her stomach. It had been awhile ago what rations she had been able to steal in her escape had run out.
She looked over to the man who addressed her now, "Hi, yes, I am new." she said, with a small smile. Before she could introduce herself properly, Tanja slung her arm over Heidi and did it for her. Hedi simply laughed and nodded. The people here seemed nice. It was especially nice to have someone ask her name after so long of being addressed by so many other things.

Heidi watched Tanja's encounter with her new gun with a smile. Antoni had said she was energetic about giving and recieving orders, and seeing her excitement over a new gun just further proved Heidi's initial thought: Tanja was a born soldier. Maybe not for what the Germans wanted, but she was definately a proud one for what she fought for in her own right. It made Heidi smile, actually, to see someone so ready to fight for the right cause, this time.

When Antoni mentioned they would be going after German food shipment, Heidi was a little excited; not because she wanted the food so bad, though that was definately a contributor, but rather that she would be able to go out and do something. She would be able to fight on front lines rather than hiding in towers and shooting unsuspecting targets... Not that she had a problem with that, other than the killing part, but there was something exciting about being in the first assault... and also frightening, very much so.
Her excitement hadn't faded as she followed closely behind Tanja, and then Rolf when she had run passed him. Heidi fell to the ground panting as well as Rolf had, kneeling on one knee. She looked around, assessing the situation. She couldn't even be sure of their odds at that point. It would depend on what was accompanying the target truck. She assembled the road block with the rest of the team, though, everyone else seemed to be having a much easier time than she- Heidi was never really a heavy lifter, she was more a lightweight. In her mind, she suspected that would be changing soon. She looked at Rolf as he asked about positions, "Good question..." she said, mostly under her breath. She looked around the rest of the team for orders. Heidi was more of a person who carried out orders than gave them. Naturally, seeing as she was a nurse by nature, not a soldier. Although, in those days, everyone was a soldier. From the oldest man sitting in his rocker, to the tiniest child still feeding from their mother's bossom. No one was safe.

When the orders actually came, Heidi hesitated, not sure she would be able to do the task assigned to her. "Antoni, I'm pretty sure I would be better suited higher up rather on the ground..." she said. Then she thought about it as an oppertunity and looked at the ground, then over the area as she spoke, "I was trained to be more of a sniper, but if you think you can have my back down here, I could do it..."

Antoni nodded, "Those positions, they were just suggestions, You your self know what you are capable of, so there for...Go." He said nodding and taking his own position, His eyes fell on Tanja who was jumping stairs to get up. "Just be careful with her...She's acting tough now, but..." His voice fell scilent, "She'll be the first to question what to do." He said over his shoulder, putting his gun into position.

Sasha was huddled in a collection of ragged blankets in a higher story of an abandoned apartment building, waiting out the day, to use the night to find food, and a new shelter. He never stayed in the same place twice. Playing mind games with himself to pass the time, he gradually became aware of the sound of footsteps, what sounded like multiple pairs. Running, then stopping. Hushed conversation. Louder sounds of rubble being moved around. His instinct for self-preservation warred with his curiousity, until finally his curiousity won out. After all, he had nowhere the run in the partially destroyed aparment building, and it was unlikely they would see him.

He inched over to a place where the wall had crubbled, giving him a good view to the road below. Six people were below, men and women, all armed with guns. My luck is no good today, Sasha thought to himself. Although, none of the people looked to be Nazis, but it was never possible to be sure. But why would they be piling up rocks in the road?

He paused, thinking critically. A road block! Of course! But what was to be coming that route? He mentally pictured a map of the city of Warsaw, and placed the apartment building. Perhaps a convoy to the German base? Clever, very clever of the people. He hunkered down onto his thin belly and inched himself closer to the outside, trying to hear what was being discussed. They sounded like they were positioning themselves, and then Sasha saw with a feeling of utmost dread that three of them were breaking off to enter the aparment building.

Sasha slid away from the break in the wall, his muscles tensed to flee. If they were planning to use this building for an ambush, even if they weren't Nazis, they wouldn't look kindly to him being there. HE didn't look kindly upon him being there. With his noticeable Russian accent, he made a target for Germans and Resistance fighters alike, and he would be damned if he stayed there.

Abandoning his sad pile of belongings, only carrying a crust of bread in his pocket, he inched his way towards the staircase, carefully avoiding cracks in the floorboard, and places where he knew made noise. Slowly, he peered out from the room, and saw with a sinking heart that a woman carrying what looked like a Red Army machine gun was already inside, and was gesturing up the stairs. Crouching down, looking down the exposed stairway, he tried to think of a way to get around her and get out. The back stairs he knew where in pieces, and he was too far up to jump. Maybe if he just surrendered?

He straightened with new conviction, and marched his way out of his hideaway room out onto the top of the stairs with his hands stretched out in front of him to show that he was unarmed. "Sister," he said, addressing the woman at the bottom of the stairs, "I wish you and your friends no harm. Will you let me go safe?"

Ooc~ Sorry about the long post! I got inspired and started narrating. I promise I won't be so long winded in the future :P
