Naida stroked Kesiko's hair when she laid her head on her lap. After seeing her ears twitch she did scratch them. Feeling them interesting, they were warm and soft. Naida closed her eyes and enjoyed the touch.

A purr came from my throat and I closed my eyes. It's been a long time since I last relaxed to this extent, the road wasn't the place to relax on, no matter where you go. My tail's end flicked a bit back and forth lazily as I enjoyed the moment.

Naida smiled as Kesiko purred while she was scratching. After a while Naida began to hymn a melody.

Sy hummed softly as she busied herself, wiping down the bar, and cleaning some glasses. She slipped her hair into a loose pony tail, as tendrils framed her face.

I got up from my comfy spot on the couch and went to the bar, "What's up Sy?" Sitting on a bar stool and stretched, joints popping and ears twitching.

"Not a lot...Trying my hand at self control." she giggled. "My hunger doesn't like it much..."

((sure, just send it to me... you'l have to wait for around an hour though, until I get home for the change...))

I let out a chuckle, "You should eat when you're hungry, it's not as if the one you're feeding from doesn't enjoy it. Got any milk laying around?" My tail swished back and forth languidly.

Groaning Tabitha made her way back down the stairs, she didnt know how long she slept for. Yawning she let her tail drag on the carpet while she walked.

Anora glanced over at Sy. "You're hungry? That would explain somethings." She turned to face her. "And what does eating usually entail for you?"

(Yay. I was hoping something I could jump Anora back into would happen)

"True, except I feel guilty for taking advantage of them." Sy looked at Anora. "Well love, you know I'm a succubus right? Succubi and Inccubi feed off of sexual energy. We're like a sexy vampire kinda.... Except I have a bit of a nagging conscience, and would rather notmy appearance completely to suit the preference of my food..." She got Kiseko her milk.

Anora tilted her head. "Huh. I can't say we get many of you up North, but I have heard stories." She looked at the empty smoothie cup with a frown. "Guess I'll need a refil. Lets forget the Vodka this round. Strawberry smoothie, if you please." She rested her chin on the backs of her hands. "So, if you don't mind me asking, when was you last... meal?" She raised a curious eyebrow.

"Thanks," I gave her a slight grin, "A succubus with a guilty conscience? You shouldn't feel guilty for doing what you need to survive, it's not like you kill them or anything." The last bit had a sour undertone and I sipped my milk, "Mmm, been a while since I last had this stuff."

"Sure." Sy started fixing up Anora's smoothie. "It's been just over a month since I last fed. Most of my kind feed every night." She sighed. "No, succubus ever kills her food. Although we leave them in a drained state that who knows what could happen to them....And as for my lack of feeding, well... Back before I came to the possession of the Inn. My friend Sokey, the man with the white hair" she pointed to the painting over the fireplace. "He owned it. He was my best friend, my confident. I loved him... I guess, I don't enjoy feeding anymore, because the man I loved, allowed me to feed off of him. To have that connection beats out random men anyday..."

Anora nodded knowingly, sipping her smoothie. "I understand. It's hard to think of someone else after you find the one. It must be tough for you, since he's gone." She looked out the window, then down at her smoothie.

"You've also lost love." Sy realized.

Anora grimmaced. "You could say that. I ran away from it, but I had no choice. It kills me, to this day, the decision I made." She looked up at Sy, her eyes full of a distant pain. "Tell me, if you had to choose between your duty, to your home, your family, your ideals, or the man you loved, which would you have choosen?"

"Love, definitely," I stated, no hesitation, "But perhaps that's just because of my upbringing, people are different and choose their choices based off of who they are. I have no home, family or ideals to choose over someone who's stolen my heart." My tail flicked, agitated when I mentioned a home and family.

Anora smiled as she looked down into her smoothie. "I wish it had been that easy for me." She glanced over at her with a smile.

A chuckle escaped my lips, "Not everyone ends up killing their own family and burning down their own home. Those who do probably had an easier time then I did, never get into an argument with your own family if they're assassins, you can't exactly run away from home for a while to cool off. What troubles you? If your duty to your family is important enough to give up love then what would drive you from your duty?"

She shook her head. "It's wasn't my duty to my family that drove me away, it was my ideals, and his." She looked into the sky. "Our duty was to our leader, and he turned away from that for reasons of his own, and then he came to me, to make me choose between his ideals and mine, and I couldn't. But I couldn't fight him... so I ran." She sipped her smoothie. "And that's why I'm here today. Because I ran."

"You'll have to make a choice eventually. When you run from something it tends to chase you and bite you in the ass. Sometimes literally," I grinned, "Though i don't know much about the winged ones of the north, so maybe you're backside will bare no scar, only time will tell." I ran a finger around the rim of a now empty glass, "Sorry I'm prying aren't I... feel free to tell me to shut up if you want, or you can ask me as personal of questions as I've asked you. A metaphorical eye for an eye situation."

Anora smiled, taking a long drink straight from the smoothie. "I don't mind." She smiled at Sy. "There's never to nosy a question among family." I glanced over at Yamiko. "So, lets hear it. Though I don't normally believe in an eye for an eye." She smiled slightly.

"Hmmm my life in a nutshell, raised as an assassin, didn't want to do it anymore, had to kill my own family to get out, burned my home as a sign of being a nomad, and have spent the rest of my days traveling across the world."

I leaned back and flicked my ears a bit, "My family has been assassins for several centuries. Only allowed to mate with other felines and they had to have a certain standard in abilities. I was born in a litter of five, two were killed immediately, their physical structure not good enough to even train in the family. My two brothers and I grew up under harsh conditions, of which I was the only survivor. Watching your brother die doing something is good motivation to not screwing up when it's your turn. Eventually I wanted to quit. Knowing it wasn't allowed instead I planned my family's demise."

She looked out the window. "Sounds like a tough time... and the only way out was to kill your family?" She shook her head. "The more I travel, the more I realized no where has a perfect life, for anyone, let alone everyone." She looked back at Yamiko. "Was it worth it? Doing what you had to in order to do what you needed?"

"Heh, unlike most my family did not consist of 'love', just hate. I didn't care that they were the beings that brought me into this world, they only brought me into it to torture me. I don't know if it was worth it, but I don't regret it. The red string around my neck is a curse, put on me by a spell caster because I wasn't careful enough while killing him, if I was still killing today this string would be long enough to wear them as clothes."
