*He saunters up and slides onto the nearest stool, dropping an arm onto the bar * "I'm Calvin Kepter, but you can call me Cal. You may have heard of me as the SpírìtCatcher, but probably not, I doubt word reached here from Trælia." *cocks a smile* "I don't suppose I'd be so lucky that you know how to make a Goljùrnahk? Dwarven drink, very hearty."

She laughed. "Psh, love I used to be a Hunter, of course I've heard of the SpiritCatcher." She began pouring liquids into glasses, making herself a vodka sunrise at the same time. "So what brings the SpiritCatcher around these parts?" she handed him his drink

* He looks genuinely surprised, takes a sip of the drink, and seems even more surprised *

"No kidding? And damn if this isn't the finest Goljùrnahk I've ever tasted!" *tips a nonexistant hat* "Well, the Spírìts around Trælia have mostly calmed down, and the new government is - finally - pretty well equipped to handle any new uprisings, so I'm more or less out of a job. Militaries will always supplant superheroes in the end, I suppose..." *he doesn't seem too happy about this... takes another drink* "Anyway, what's the news around these parts?"

Kliff went to the barn to be alone, "Zake My heart skips when i think of you and yet i don't know why i can't seem to not love you love you." A tear went down his cheek.

Zake grabbed the moss and then looked at the rose. "I don't know zake I do have a feeling that i may love you." He pocketed it carefully and emerged from the cafe looking for Kliff.

*cocks an interested eye in the direction of Zake and the others, then turns back to Syra* "Do I even want to know?"

"Well that explains a lot. I have a few friends still Hunting, and they tend to throw me bits of information..." She sipped her drink. "Nothing new really. The usual gossip about this creature or that. With so many wanderers around here, rumors fly faster than the wind can carry them." She became lost in thought for a moment, and her form shimmered into a tall woman with blonde shoulder length hair, and bright ocean blue eyes. She finally noticed when her fingernails lengthened with a coral pink colour. With a sigh she shimmered back into her usual appearance. She laughed. "Being a succubus sucks." She looked over to Cal's motions towards Kliff and Zake. She shrugged. "A bit of mis-communication between good friends, and hopefully they've both made the right decision." she has a mischevious twinkle in her eye.

* Cal seems mildly interested at the appearance change, but not unduly so. *

"I hope they did too, for whatever it's worth. Good friendships are hard to come by."

"By the looks of it, Zake choose the moss, meaning, I may have some love happening at my Inn. Just as well, this way I don't have to shapeshift to get them together."

*tosses his hands in the air* "I've never been much for relationship drama, but I hope it works out for everyone, whatever that ends up meaning." *downs the rest of his drink, and sits in silence, staring off into space, seemingly lost in thought.*

Sy frowned a bit. "Hey, you alright?" She leaned over the bar, summoning a light pink rose, and letting it fall infront of him. "Gentleness, Grace, Sympathy, and Joy. When you're at the Inn your family. If you need anything just say so."

Kliff stood in the front door and was greeted by a happy Zake who's arms linked around him, "I'm sorry Zake, but this isn't like you at all.Whats up kitten?"

Zake didn't say anything he just stood ther.

"Yo! as much as I enjoy this you may be disturbing some of our guests."

"That never mattered before y now? i've decided to give you a chance Kliff."

"Really" His face lit up. "I'll be careful, I promise." he hugged the little one right back.

* He blinks at the rose, a couple seconds delayed, then looks back up at Sy *

"Oh, thanks, no, that's okay. Just... memories..." *suddenly sits up straight* "But that's all in the past, so why dwell on it?" *smiles (Sy can tell it's rather forced), picks up his mug, and, noticing it's empty, holds it out to Sy* "A refill, if you would? Also, what's the going rate on a room here?"

"You sure love?" She gave a small frown, but decided not to press the issue. She refilled his mug. "Free room and board, free drinks... for nothing. A couple of people help out here and there, small cleaning stuff, or bringing in fire wood, but they don't have to." She grabbed the clipboard and a key off the hooks. "Just sign your name and pick a room." She smiled.
Her eyes wandered to the front door, and her smile deepened as she saw the happiness radiating from her two boys.

The two sepparated and went back to there work.

((gtg for the night))

"I'm sure, thanks. And I like the set up, very commune like, reminds me of the resistance... Now those are some good memories!" *a genuine smile appears on his face now, as he takes a long pull at his drink* "Now!" *heartily thumps the mug down onto the bar* "I always make it a point to repay excellent hospitality, so, is there anything an out of work superhero can do to help out around here?"

Sy laughed. "Umm, at the moment I can't think of much... Kliff usually gets the firewood, or helps me make drinks... Zake is great at sweeping or also getting firewood... Hmm. Nope, can't think of anything at the moment, but if I do need you, I'll ask." She flashed him a white smile.

"Well, I can do a bit more than just household chores. I don't expect to stay here too long, but you've given me the best welcome I've had in months, so I want to make it up to you. What kinds of facilities does this place have? Do you have a pool? And if not" *flashes a smile* "do you want one?"

A light brightened in Sy's eyes. "A pool would be nice..." She bit her lip. "Ok. Follow me." Sy led him to a room, left of the stairwell. It was empty, since Sy had no use for it yet. "Maybe a sauna instead of a pool..." she murmured. "I'd rather not put anything outside and disturb the cemetary....."

"Good point. Hmm, how about we split the difference and make it an indoor hot tub?"

She giggled, clapping her hands together "OH! I love that idea!" She spun in a circle.

* Cal grins widely, genuinely pleased at her happiness *

"I'll start on it first thing in the morning. But for now" *stretches and yawns* "I think I'm gonna turn in, it's been a long day of travel. Can you direct me to the rooms?"

"Of course." Sy led him out of the room, and turned to face the stairs. "Pick any room that doesn't have a little star on the door. The ones with stars are taken. And the one with the red heart is mine, if you ever need me. Sweet Dreams Cal." She smiled, before going to clean up glasses, and send the roses to bud.

When she finished, she slipped into her night clothes, and headed up the stairs to her own bed.

* Cal looks around, then snags a room at random. He takes a look around, and smiles *

"Nice furnishings."

* The room suddenly starts changing, switching among all different kinds of furnitures, wallpapers, and various other acoutrements. But after about a minute of this, it goes back to the original set up. *

"I think I'll stick with it the way it is. Sy has good taste."

* He flops down onto the bed, then a moment later looks up *

"Well, maybe one change." *a large green fuzzy beanbag chair appears in midair, and flops into the center of the room* "Perfect." *with a smile, he rolls over and goes to sleep*

Sybella groaned softly as she awoke. Thankful that she decided that every room had it's own ajoined bath, she quickly made use of her own.
Switching her form to that of an Mau, cat. She slowly padded downstairs. Sy relaxed in the knowing that she had a few minutes of peace to herself. As she walked down the stairs the roses bloomed, and she added a few new red ones for Zake and Kliff.
She used her magic to relight the fire in the fireplace, as well as the candles. She herself never understood how they never had to be replaced, but she refused to question it.
She curled up into a ball on the fire place mantle, right under the painting. Before she could stop them a couple tears made an escape.

The boys woke up on te counter having chozen that spot to sleep.

Kliff was the first to change into his human form and stretch out his tail for the day. He looked at the roster and noticed that They could still have a room, "well now i think i will sign this and go take a bath."

Zake mewled by his feet before transforming and grabbing his yukata aroung him, "Morning Kliff."

"I've found us a room y don't you come and take a bath after me."

"Ok." He was still a little lost after his confession last night did i do the right thing.
