Cassie spread her arms out jokingly. "Here, in a tree!" She laughed a little. "Not really in a tree, but I live in this town. How can you stand travelling around?" She asked. Cassie had never been the kind of person to like change, in fact, it kind of scared her a bit.

Alex shrugged and smiled. "I don't know.I like seeing the diffrent towns and looking at all the diffrent people.It is really intresting.I get to see so many diffrent things.I love it." Alex laughed.

Cassie laughed a bit as well. "I guess different people have different intakes on things. Most of the people around here are the same. It gets a little boring, but I know sometime in the future something cool's gonna happen." She said, jumping down from her branch and back onto the one she was sitting on earlier.

Alex frowned. "Well that's very boring.I think I shall make things fun if Im going to stay here for a while.Yes that what I shall do."She said as she jumped up and the swing and started to rock back and forth. "From now on Alex will make things fun!" She laughed

Cassie sighed a bit, but her smile quickly returned. "I've tried making things more fun. I added my own dash of color to things, y'know? It doesn't work. Everybody's just too plain! We need to make something happen or, or something!" She said, a little agitated how the small town was plain.

Alex frowned and jumped off the swing.She climbed the tree and sat next to Cassie. "Don'y worry I'll help you make this place fun.We can spice things up.I no we can!" She said.Alex smiled.

Cassie laughed a little. "Sounds great!" She said, putting one of her arms up and accidently scratching her hand on a branch above. "Ow! Jeese...Maybe next time I'll not do that." She laughed a little, looking at the scratch. It wasn't too bad, just cut the skin a bit but not enough to make it bleed.

Alex smiled.She saw that Cassie cut her hand.Alex didnt really mind though.She was able to control her thrist really well.Even if she was really thrist she has been able to control her thrist for many decades now.She didnt hunt humand\s since she was a human a long time ago.She hunts animals at night.She smiled and continued to laugh.

Smelling the blood from the human's hand, Rae quickly covered her mouth, and rushed back into the woods. "No, not tonight," she thought. "Not now not ever."

Alex looked around.She suddenly lost secnt of the vampire wathcing her.She shrugged and jumped off the branch.

As she sped through the woods, Rae noticed the sun setting behind the horizon. It was getting dark and her senses quivered with anticipation of the next meal.

Stoping to crouch down by a tree, Rae sniffed the cool night air, smelling an owl up on a nearby branch, a field mouse, scurrying across the grass, and a deer, settling down for the night.

Now. Rae ran straight at the deer's strong scent. Charging through the bushes, Rae half-landed on the deer's back, startling it out in the open.

Cursing at the miss, she went after it's neck instead, killing it instantly.

Cassie looked to the sky, smiling a bit. "It's getting dark out. We should probably get home soon, I heard animal attacks have been happening recently." She said, laughing a bit. "I bet it's all a hoax."

Alex looked over at Cassie. "Yeah people here spread rumors alot.Well I'll see you later Cassie.Remember we agreed to make this town awesome.Bye!"Alex said as she ran into the forest.

Cassie waved to Alex. "Bye! See you tomorrow~" She said, smiling. She was happy she was friends with one of the new people, she wanted to ask about how tough the guys were. 'Maybe she does know...' She thought.

Caiti walked silently along the woodland path, pndering about the precarious situation in which she had found herself. One year ago, in a big city miles away, he parents had met their demise in a housefire, of course, there were nice friendly people willing to take her in, but she felt so trapped. Never letting herself get close to these people and never making friends, for fear that she would lose them too. So about three months ago she set out to find where she belonged, bringing with her only a knapsack of clothes and some food. She had managed well on feeding herself, and keeping herself clean, untill about a week and a half ago, when she had got lost in some forest and couldn't find her way out. She only had enough water to last two more days and if it didn't rain soon she would surely die.

She had found some type of path about an hour ago and was following it dilligantly. She began to feel feint, there was a clearing up ahead ad she broke into a run, not a wise move. Her head instantly felt like it was up in the clouds and she passed out just two feet short of the end of the woods.

This is where she would lay unless somebody found her.

Wiping her mouth with the back of her hand, Rae licked her lower lip. She couldn't let her senses catch anything else since she let them loose.

After pushing the body back under the brush, Rae started walking on the path, deeper into the woods. Sensing another human, she lept up into a tree, hugging it, digging in her nails, trying to fight off the killing instict.

The veins in her neck buldged as she fought against her own body.

Caiti stirred, as she lay there with her eyes closed, trying to mentally psych herself into actually getting up. She tried to move, she groaned with the effort but managed to get herself in a sitting position.

Leaning against the tree that was conveniantly placed within her reach, Caiti sensed an uneasyness.

Alex skipped into the forest and looked around.She could sense a human near by.She smiled and skipped down the forests path.Alex suddenly came upon the human she sensed before.She walked over to he and smiled.She sat next to her. "Whats wrong?" She asked

Caiti's stomach felt like it was going to explode from starvation, suddenly a figure popped into her perriphial vison. And asked her what was wrong.

Caiti had to use every once of energy she could muster,

"Starving... tired... please..."

Everything went black once again.

Another scent had come. It was of the vampire before.

Still fighting herself, Rae left the tree, and grabbed onto another one, a few feet away. Hopefully the other vampire could smell the uneasiness. But what if she decided to bite the human? Surely then Rae would lose her control.

Alex looked at the girl an frowned."Ok then I'll take you to town so she wont kill you." Alex said as she grabbed the girl and ran her back to town bridal style.

Caiti lie limp in the arms of the kind stranger who had come to her aide. Having no idea the danger that she may have possibly escaped, or entered into.

Alex finally ran into the town.She ran human speed to the near by hospital and entered the hospital.She handed the girl to a doctor and waved goodbye.She hoped that she would make it.

Finally away, Rae caught her breath. That was too close.
"I'm getting too relaxed," she sighed. "I need to stay on my toes."
Rae pulled her legs up to her chest, hugging them. Her brothers and sisters wouldn't have done what she did. The human girl would've been dead within seconds. But, they wouldn't have had such restraint either.

"I was just lucky," she whispered into the night.

Alex walked into the forest and ran back to the spot where she found the girl.Alex skidded to a stop and looked around.Alex smiled. "Ok you can come out now!She's gone!"Alex shouted to the vampire.
