The Little Black Rose
Once she was wilted
She had no sun or water
Then you picked her up
Slowly she became alive
She could feel her petals bloom
Her leaves uncurled
All because of the darkness you blew into her
The dark magic that overcame her and gave her new life
She vowed then that she wouldn’t let herself wilt again
She would always be beautiful and dark for you
Her lover, caregiver, the only sun she’d ever need
She gave you her love
You watched her everyday
Watered her, set her in the sun
Even held her as she shed tears of joy
For she knew she had been saved
Then there came a day when she couldn’t express how she felt
It was so hard to put into words and simple actions weren’t enough
So she decided to shine her best one day, and wrap her caregiver in the light of love
When he came to her that day, she lay her hand on his cheek and began to whisper
“You whom I love more than life itself,
You whom have saved me from destruction,
You whom have given me so much yet asked for so little.
How to tell you what you mean to me, I don’t know.
So all I can give you, is my love, my life, and pray it enough.”
Kissing her caregivers lips,
She took his hand and placed it over her heart
“This shall remain true only to you,
This shall beat only for you,
From this day forward,
I pledge myself fully, heart, body, mind, and soul yours.
Never shall you want for I shall give you everything,
Never shall your desires go unanswered for I am at your beck and call,
Never shall you be alone for I shall be your constant companion,
Never shall you have to face the light of day, without my love by your side.”
As the rose stood trembling, she waited for his answer.
This is an old poem of mine. I've wrote it for an old boyfriend. Heh, him and I are still friends, and I still care for him deeply, but times have changed and so have we. Despite the fact that we're no longer together, this is still by far, my favorite poem.

Mommy's Day Poem
You are the one and only
The one who made me see
That deep inside I'm lovely
That deep inside I believe
You've seen my bad
you've seen my good
And all you did
was love me all you could
You wiped my tears when I cried
you picked me up when I fell
you stood beside me
when my world was hell
you've fixed my broken heart
many times before
made me see deep inside
the thing i always ignored
So god granted you a special pay
the one where we all say;
"I LOVE YOU, HAPPY MOMMY'S DAY!"
I believe this is one of the first pieces I had ever done for my mom. Hehe, since then, I write her two poems a year. Mother's day and her birthday. She seems to really enjoy them, and I hope you enjoy them as much as she does. She likes to carry them around and show them off to people xD

Go Away
You broke my heart
You made me cry
Now you want me back
For a second try...
I'm not sure
I'm so confused
I thought it was over
I thought I was over you!
Why'd you come back?
Why'd you leave?
What happened to us?
Why'd you hurt me?
I asked you to stay
I begged and cried
Then I prayed the pain away
And went on with my life
That wasn't enough for you
You wanted to be friends
I said "Fine, ok, sure"
But then you changed your mind...
Why does this hurt, when I supposedly don't care?
I remember writing this about an ex of mine. Odd, how most of my work are about other people. Heh, but yea. He ended up making me really upset, and I eventually just changed my number and such. Was quite crazy.

The reaching of a hand
Right into my night
The palest of moons,
The guiding light
To pull me away
From the inky black
To bring home
My friend, Of all Trades, by the name of Jack
He knows it all,
He’s seen everything
He’s stood by my side
This phantom of my dreams
Others may not see,
But I know he’s true
He’ll never leave me alone
A partnership many never knew
My secrets he keeps
My heart he holds safe
My mind he controls
My breath he takes
Can you find him?
This riddle in my head
Can you see him?
For he tells me he’s dead.

Thanks, I'll remember that. xD Sorry to make you do so much work.. Hehe
Here's a small one that I have no clue about.. Heh
When you close your eyes,
Do you dream of me?
Can you feel my presence?
What is it you truly see?
When you hear your heart beat,
Do you think of me?
Am I forever entombed inside you?
Will I ever be?
