She watched him go back to his bike, checking on where the other people were she turned away for a second or two. She was trying not to let her guard drop she had been tricked a few times by infected people. Tyler brushed her short black hair behind her ear “Humans were always corrupt and violent, some more than others” she said giving in and leaning on the corner of the building, gun still gripped tightly in her hand “they’re supposed to be looking for a cure, they say the infected lose who they used to be, I don’t think that’s true” her mind wandered slightly reminding her of her brother, she didn’t know where he was any more or even if one of those others humans had killed him already. Tyler tried not to show that she was becoming distracted and adjusted her position swapping her weight from one foot to the other.

She wasn’t sure what to do now, she hadn’t ever had a real conversation with anybody for a long time and she didn’t want to share too much. She was never into sharing or connecting with other people but now the opportunity to do it was gone she found herself wanting to even just a little. Mostly she just didn’t want that alone feeling, she had begun to miss the arguments there was always noise at her house and now there was only silence in an empty apartment she was afraid to use the front door to in case she was attacked. Tyler smirked
“the worlds gone to crap” she began shaking her head slightly.

Kilik hoistered his bag, which was on his bike, up his shoulders. Kicking back the kickstand, he ignited the engine to his GSX1300r. He sighed. "It's true. I have no slightest thought of who I was before. I don't know how I became an infected."

He revved his engine, once, twise, checking to see if there were any problems. There wasn't. Not ever. He always took great care of his bike. But he always checked, everytime he gets on it.

"But I do know this. No matter what, we can never change back. Even if we do, they do find a cure, I believe it would be worse. Once back to normal, the used-to-be Infected will be living with the guilt and regret of killing and spillng gallons of innocent blood for life."

He looked up to the sky, then put his sunglasses on.

Sabrina smiled back at the man, glad to hear that was okay. She walked a little closer and sat down with her legs bent underneath her. "The name's Sabrina." She looked around a bit adjusting her glasses once again then looked back at the man. "What happened? Was there anyone else around, other supporters?" She hoped she wasn't asking too many questions. But her curiosity always got the best of her.

"Names Wesley James Brewer but hell you can just call me wes and its a pleasure to meet you Sabrina." Wes beckoned with his hand for her to sit next to him he was surprised such a young girl was by herself. "well whats going on is shit went down in central park I got jumped by an infected and it lead to a building exploding. As for any supporters I counted three in the park 2 seemed to be together and the third I actually got to acknowledge my presences." he nodded at her because he couldn't show his smile due to the mask. "enough about me what about you what are you doing here?"

Sabrina got up and sat next to Wes with her legs stretched out in front of her. She enjoyed having another person close to her, having someone to talk to, instead of being alone with her sketches. "It's a pleasure to meet you too Wes. And it sounds like I missed quite a bit of action." She glanced at Wes with a small smile then turned her gaze to her bag. She thought for a moment, trying to remember why she was here. But she couldn't come up with anything. "I don't know...I guess, cause I had nothing better to do. And I was sick of being in open fields without any cover."

Sabrina remembered the sketch that she had begun earlier and pulled out the pen and paper and began to finish the sketch. "I can't remember the last time I saw people." She muttered under her breath, slightly distracted by her sketching. She looked up at Wes with a calm expression and asked, "How long has it been for you?"

"Only for a couple weeks.. but everyone I knew is now gone." he looked over to she what she was drawing but the pad was at a weird angle so he couldn't make it out. "so tired of getting out of open spaces I'm guessing you just came from the mid-west? I heard its lovely this time of year!" Wes was conflicted this girl would make a new addition but on the other hand she was young and seemed a little too trust worthy. "Hey ever heard of the freelancers?"

((How do you delete a post? My comp was acting weird...))

"Oh yes, the scenery is quite inspirational. But I like the city view more." She noticed that he was trying to look at her sketch so she positioned it to where he could see it better. She drew a few more lines and then went on talking. "No, I don't believe I've heard of them. Why?" She adjusted her glasses again and moved her long, black hair behind her shoulders, it was beginning to get in the way of her sketching. She looked back at Wes curiously.

Wesley's heart sank as much as he wanted to deny it freelancers were almost gone but he was going to be the one to change that! "Thought so It is pretty much an east coast thing. Freelancers are groups of people who drift from settlement to settlement carrying out any task given for supplies info or just a warm place to sleep for the night. Freelancing is great you get to see a lot of different places meet many people though sadly it is dangerous." Wesley studied her drawing pulled down his mask for the first time in days (excluding eating/drinking!) and msiled at her complimenting it.

Sabrina thought about what he said and turned her gaze back to her sketch. She looked back at Wes and stated, "It sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Why, are you a freelancer?" She blushed, that was probably a stupid question. Why else would he have asked? But she waited for a reply nonetheless.

Sabrina smiled back at Wes, thankful for the compliment. It was nice to know that art was still appreciated, even in the god-forsaken world they lived in now. "By the way, why do you wear a mask?"

Arian stopped when the gun was pointed at him, and raised his hands up to his head to show them no harm...at least not for the time being.

"Hey hey, easy there with your big gun. I'm just passing by." He waved his hands at them to show them that he was unarmed. "Heard the commotion and thought I'd come over and check things out, that was quite a bang you people were causing." Hopping around from one foot to another to let off some excess energy, he continued, "It ain't my business if you people are having a war, I'm just a very unlucky pizza boy out of business thanks to the apocalypse-thing ten years ago. You haven't got any odd jobs, by any chance? I'll be glad to work for some food and clean water." He added the last sentence as a distraction, since he didn't suppose many people would be walking around as carefree as he was in times like these. It'd also be nice to have some extra food stocked up...maybe they'll have some preservables. If they'd hire him. And he'd have to remember to stop being so cheerful, people seem to be annoyed by other people being cheerful these days. That'd be suspicious as well. Hmm. Human moods are so hard to predict.

While Cain was walking back, he saw the supporter from the building talking with someone else, a girl. He put away the katana as to not reveal his new found powers. He came up closer and asked him "What's your name and what are you doing here!" Completely disregarding the girl. The way this man had moved, he had to be infected. But what if he was like Cain...

Brandon slowly lowered his pistol but didn't put it away. He didn't trust this man in the least. There was something extremely off about him, something that made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. It could be that he was far too upbeat about this entire situation or seeing so many people in such a short period of time after being alone for so long. He really wasn't sure.

"I highly doubt you'll find any jobs around that'll pay," he replied in an even tone. He wasn't going to tell someone he wasn't sure was infected or not that for jobs now a days you either got a meal, most of the time not even a warm one, you were lucky if you got a warm one, and/or a place to sleep for a night or two.

Cassandra had remained quiet, but she spoke up to correct him on giving others her name. "Aura is the name I go by more frequently there are few who use my first name anymore..." Usually the name was used if she knew the person long enough so that they could use her first name as an intimate gesture or if she respected the person. She respected Brandon as it were and remained silent through the rest of the conversation more or less. She was one to act not to speak and as long as Brandon was willing to speak for her she didn't mind. Aura wasn't showing off her skill for she was used to being a loner so she didn't save people often she admired the fact that Brandon did though. Turning she scans the park alert in case the infected were to come back. Her blood would warn her, but she didn't want to be caught with her guard down at any time.

Arian's face fell somewhat comically, a part of him really did want a job...it'd be more fun to have a goal to accomplish than just walking around all day doing nothing. "No jobs? That sucks..." He muttered, scratching his head again. It was one of those habits of his that just won't go away, infected or not. "Been looking for stuff to do for a while...I'm running low on preservables. Haven't found any clean water in a while either." He said. Though truth be told, he hadn't drank any water in a long time. Not since he found that blood worked just as good as a type of liquid to sustain his body.

Looking around but also observing the two before him, he noted that the guy looked like he hadn't slept for a week. Girl had a large bow. Both armed and would seem dangerous if provoked. Something about the girl also seemed familiar...she had the scent of the infected, but wasn't an infected. How baffling.

"So..." He continued, looking for something say as to not let the atmosphere get too awkward for his liking, "You're Brandon and Aura, huh?" He gestured towards the collapsed building, where small rocks continued to fall softly, clattering against the larger pieces of cement before coming to a rest. "Were you the ones who caused this poor building's death?"

"its for many things kinda of a badge of honor for freelancers and I like to through bad things into the air."
Wesley looked up watching a young man with red tattoos stomping twords him.
"My business here is of no concern to you if you talk to me like an ass considering the fact I was the guy that was coding to you in morse a while ago.

Aura eyes Arian for a moment and her skin started to prickle as her blood started to burn slightly. She didn't say anything at the moment for he seemed docile. Its true she would attack the bad cases of the infected the ones to far along to help in any case. In all honesty these past few days she was curious as to why her blood acted as it did around them and she had been searching for a lab that would be within the city and out of the way where she could study a few samples of her blood. It would be risky by herself, but perhaps if she developed a bond between a few of the non infected she could figure out what was up with her. In truth she did feel bad for the infected, and wanted to help, but she would kill those that were too far along and she knew they could be ruthless killers as well. This boy however didn't seem to be of any harm just yet. That could change though. "I don't think I quite caught your name..." She eyes Arian and gives him a sort of half smile that was hard for her to dredge up for an infected and waits for his answer while scanning the area for any hostile infected, though still keeping her guard up with the one they had encountered. Perhaps in due time she would tell others of her strange blood, but for now it was best to keep that a secret for she knew they may not understand and mistake her for a true infected as well. It was a sort of mixed feeling she had about infected of course it all depended on what stage they were in and if they posed a threat. She then answers his question. "No we didn't cause it, but I believe it to be the cause of a scuffle between an infected an non infected or it could even have been a quarrel among two infected that hadn't lost all contact with themselves yet as well, you know the more animalistic nature that they tend to revert to." She informed him being rather blunt and open about it, and this also hinted that she was more well informed of the infected than she had reviled earlier.

"And? That doesnt mean anything! You had speed and power back there only surpassed by infected so I want to know, are you one!" Cain was getting annoyed, he was ready to battle him if it came to that, he was ready. he could beat him. He didn't quite think he was infected, but it payed to be careful. Enough infected before have posed as supporters succesfully.

Tyler shifted uncomfortably near the building, she couldn’t hide the fact that what he had just said had upset her. She brushed the other side of her hair and looked away from him “yeah right, well you should go before they notice you” she said turning away from him, she began walking towards where the other people were congregating. She wasn’t walking particularly fast, she had experience with the so called supporters before and it hadn’t ended well and always ended in yelling and a not so friendly infected attacking, which didn’t really help her case. As she walked Tyler studied the people who were collecting in one place, she hadn’t seen that many people together since before her family was hit with whatever it was that was causing people to become infected. She went to put her gun back in the back of her jeans but changed her mind at the last second and kept holding it, she rubbed her thumb on the handle of her gun close to the trigger.

She was half way between the infected man she had been talking to and the group of people when she stopped, leaning against the wall again she rubbed her eyes with her left hand while her right hung loosely by her side gripping her gun. Tyler sighed trying to push her conversation with him out of her mind, trying to keep her slight hope alive. She rocked her head from side to side and unzipped her jacket with one hand and pushed herself off the wall.

Tyler didn’t go straight up to the people, she thought that might be a little much at the moment. She stopped a few yards away from the closest person staying close to the buildings, she didn’t know what to say to them
‘hey would you mind awfully not killing the infected any more, I would much appreciate it’ she thought ‘ha like that would do anything but get my head blown off’ she became slightly lost in her own thoughts without noticing trying to figure out how to ease into the fact she didn’t want them to kill the infected any more.

Kilik watched as Tyler leave. He watched her all the way until she turned around the corner, where the Supporters were. He sighed softly, looking back at the sky. "It's the truth." He murmured. But he reached in the collar of his shirt, pulling out a necklace. There was a small pendent, shaped like a crescent moon. It was held together by a silver chain. With one swift motion, he pulled the necklace out, snapping the chain. Turning it around his fingers, he examined it closely. Then he pressed a small, hidden button behind the locket. The front flew open, revealing what was inside the compartment.

It contained a small picture of a young, handsome Kilik - before he was infected, of course. Beside Kilik was a young lady, a head shorter than him. In the picture, Kilik had his arm around the girl's waist, and she was resting her head against his shoulder. They were holding each other close, there was no gap visible between them. In the picture, Kilik looked happy, satisfied. Content, complete. The girl beside him looked the same.

The real Kilik, the Infected Kilik, sighed.
When he woke up on that day, when his life as an Infected began, Kilik had been holding this locket in his hands, tight. Without even knowing, he automatically pressed the hidden trigger, opening it, revealing the picture of him, and what looked like his former lover. Knowing that it was the only thing that kept the human Kilik alive, he kept it with him wherever he went.

Now, he got off his bike, and with the locket gently opened, he set it on the ground. He looked at it for a moment, before getting back on his bike. Revving it gently once, he gunned the engine, and shot down the street, opposite of where the Supporters were.

He hoped that Tyler person came back and picks it up. He felt hollow and sorrowful, knowing that it's lying on the cold, forsaken ground.

"power? pfft I just know all the right tricks and besides you gotta be as strong as the infected and years of fighting will do that for you." Wes looked up at the kid it seemed he had a height advantage over cain but with his leg still bleeding it wouldn't matter. "why all these questions looking for some one?" Wes glanced at Sabrina to make sure she had her head level he had a feeling this guy could snap any second.

"Ah, yes, I completely forgot to introduce myself, how rude of me. I'm Arian, nice to meet you!" Arian gave a big smile at Aura. He never hid his name, since he didn't really care one way or the other if they know of him or not...most of them tend to end up dead within a few months anyway, killed by others. The strange infected-but-not-infected wave from the girl was intriguing, and she doesn't look as though she was going to bite his head off just yet. "And yes, I know how about that, ran into a few encounters with them in the past, and they actually roared at me before coming at me in this strange half-run, half loping fashion! It was creepy." He shuddered. Some of those infected are weeeeird. He usually ran from those or roared back/attacked depending on his mood, they were probably the ones too far gone into...whatever the disease caused them to turn into. Arian was certainly glad he never sank to that level. They weren't better off than some common wild animals waiting to be shot, them. Can't even hold a proper conversation anymore.

"Well.. You wouldn't really care about what I have to say." Cain backed off the two and relaxed. "Listen, I'm sorry that I snapped like that, I just... had problems with betrayal and I tend not to trust anything anymore." Flashbacks of his best friend, infected, his family! He managed to suppress the thoughts and just stood there wondering what to do next.

Sabrina kept quiet as a boy with with red markings approached them. She noticed that the boy had ignored her and was concentrating on Wes for some reason. Although she didn't mind him ignoring her, for they didn't know each other, but she was worried the situation would get out of hand as the boy's tension rose. She glanced over at Wes who had looked down at her for a moment. Her gaze went to the surrounding area, or at least what she could see of it, making sure that there weren't any infected coming by the small quarrell that was going on. She reached a hand into her bag, ready to pull a trigger if necessary. Well...If more infected were to come, they would already be here. Duh Sabrina! She adjusted her glasses once more and moved one of the ribbons from her hat out of her face.

Once the boy settled down and began to apologize for his rash behavior she chimed in, "That's understandable, one can never be too careful these days." She half-smiled at the boy then realized that her statement wasn't entirely true. One could be careful to an extent that you kill everyone you meet regardless of whether they are infected or not so as not to take the chance. But I guess that would be paranoia.
