Selene smiled and looked into Alexander's eyes. She reached up hesitantly and stroked his cheek. She then suddenly was washed over with many memories or stroking his cheek. She gasped and stopped looking into his eyes. John looked at them and smiled. Alexander was okay... And he was here to protect Selene... Which ment... She wouldn't be needing him much longer. But it was okay... John knew it would happen one day... He was just happy to see his little Selene happy. He stood up slowly and walked into his room to pack and leave them alone for a second. Selene heard him and watched him leave threw the door. She looked at him her eyes softening. She had caught his thoughts. And she knew that Alexander had won... But she just prayed John would stay with them. She looked into Alexander's eyes again and then looked at his lips. She got closer and then kissed him softly.

Alexander smiled as he felt her lips on his and kissed her back gently. He held her close but then he felt the hair on the back of his neck go up. He only got this feeling when a damned was close and he quickly pulled away. "you need to go and hide." he said softly and looked out the window to see if the damned had found them yet. He could feel a bunch of them around the whole city and he knew that it would be impossible to get out of there now.

"What about you?" she asked but heard a crash and ducked on instinct. She saw John run out of the room and slam the door on a damned. "Theyre everywhere!!" he said and Selene looked at them both worriedly. She then got an idea. "John slap me." she said and he looked at her catching what she was thinking. "No way you'll hurt yourself!" he said and she turned to Alexander her eyes flashing. "Slap me." she said with slight anger in her voice. She looked him in the eyes seriously and John looked at him and shook his head.

ALexander looked at her but knew that he could trust her. "fine, but if anything happens I am going to get both of you out of here." he said as he looked at the. Then looked at james, "better hide just incase." he said since he had no idea what might happen. He then slapped her with the strenght of a human and hoped she knew what she was doing.

Selene's eyes flashed in anger and the house shook. "Run..." she growled with ungodly power and fire errupted from her. The damned comming at her stopped in their tracks and she blasted the fire at them. She was making everything float in the air as she did and raised her arms. Then she sent the objects flying at the damned. The ceiling began cracking and the walls began cracking as well. But before Selene could do anything else Satin appeared behind her and grabbed her. Surprised Selene's power stoped and her glow began to fade. "Let me go!!" she yelled angerily. She tried fighting him but he just chuckled. "Thank you for unlocking her true power Alexander.... I finally have what I need to end this war." he said smiling and the damned grabbed John. "John!! Let him go!!" Selene yelled and Satin put a hand over her mouth. He began to dissappear in darkness and Selene wiggled and squirmed violently trying to get away and almost did. "Alexander!!" she cried paniked. Satin growled reforming and grabbed her and twisted her arms behind her making her cry out in pain.

Alexander growled at him and light began to form around him before he knew what he was doing. It then started to form in his hand and turned into a sword. "dont you dare hurt my angel." he growled and he seemed to be more then a god now. He then lunged at sating and tackled her away from him and pinned him to the ground. His hands burned satind with his touch and made sure that he couldnt' dissappear. He pointed his sword at his neck and his eyes held a merderous look to it that no saved should have. "dont you dare touch her again." he said as he pressed the sword closer to his neck.

Selene fell to the ground and rolled into the wall. She was knocked out and John fought harder seeig this. "Selene!!! Selene!!!" he yelled angerily trying to break free of the damn's hold on him. Satin chuckled and looked into Alexander's eyes. His own blade appeared and he smiled. He was inches from running Alexander threw and a damned picked up Selene. "You were saying?" he sneered. "I dare you to do it... And my men will kill her." he challenged.

Alexander smirked at Satin, "do you think I am that stupied enough to do it?" he asked and wihout another word he cut Satins head off and other saved came flying into the window and all pinned the Damned to the floor. "yes I am but not without backup." he said as he looked at the dead Satin.

Selene coughed and opened her eyes. She screamed and pounched the saved picking her up in the face. He dropped her and she scrambled to her feet. She looked around confused and covered her mouth seeing the dead Satin. John pulled away from the saved and hugged Selene protectively. "Its alright.... Relax it's over Selene... It's alright." he said softly and tears sprung to her eyes. Darkness flowed from the dead body and Selene gasped as it extracted it's self from Satin's body. "What is that?" she whispered horrified and John turned to see it. It seemed to loom over the humans hungerily and they clutched onto eachother tightly.

Alexander sighed and walk into the darkness. It seemed happy to have him in its mits and started to go into him. "it is the power of satin." Alexander said softly, his voice sad and yet happy. He then looked at Selene, "this is the cost of protecting you, I have done it before and I would do it again." he said and the damned around him bowed. Alexander nodded at them and they ran out of the room. After a while the darkness in the room started to dissappear and his white wings began to turn pure black.

Realizing what he was saying Selene ripped herself away from John and wrapped her arms around Alexander. The light behind her seemed to form wings and she cupped his face. "I won't let you." she said tears falling down her cheeks. The darkness around him seemed to be waiting to strike her and John pulled her away from Alexander. "Selene!! He's gone!! He's satin now..." John said and Selene shook her head. "I don't believe you!! I don't believe you!!" she said but seeing the damned bow she couldn't speak. She didn't want this... Any of this... She wanted her old life back... And she wanted to have James back... At least his lies didn't hurt as much as this truth. Selene then ran out the door and into the streets nearly getting hit by a car but didn't care. Her black hair streemed out wildly behind her as she ran to the park. Something just called her there. And when she couldn't run anymore she collapsed at the base of the tree where se had first met Alexander and sobbed.

Alexander looked down, he had messed up everything again. Why didn't he just leave her alone and let her have a normal life. He wished more then anything just to be human again and be with her or a saved again. But he was satin now and there was nothing he could do about, that was unless twitch wasn't here. He then looked at John, "go and comfort her and tell her I am sorry. I didn't mean to hurt her just keep her safe." he said as he looked at him. "I am going to go to hell and see if I can do something." he said as he looked at him.

John growled and looked at Alexander. "Damit!! You go to her and you tell her!!" he said angerily grabbing Alexander's shirt collar. "If you love her so much why don't you talk to her?!" he demanded and then let go of him. "that's why I stopped being a saved!! Cuz no one does anything right!!! And you hurt more than do good!!" John growled and stormed out of the house slamming the door behind him. He ran across the street and found Selene crying. "Selene," he said softly and kneeled next to her. "He doesn't want me!! He used me just like James!! Just to get that stupid power!!" she said angerily and looked at him. "Tell me it isn't true!" she demanded her eyes searching his face. "Selene... I can't..." he whispered and she bursted into more tears. "But he did say he was sorry..." John whispered holding her. "I don't care!! I don't care!! It still hurts!" she sobbed and he stroked her head. "I know.... I know... We'll go somewhere else... And leave this all behind..." he whispered lovingly.

Alexander stood there for a while and knew that he had to do one thing. He flew out of the house and over the park. He saw her and james and he dropped the neckless he had given to her a while ago. It landed in her lap and then he dissappeared into darkness where he knew more pain would come from but not as much as not being able to be with her. He didn't want to be this anymore. He didn't want to have these cursed wings and he was going to get rid of them.

Selene looked up surprised and looked at the necklace. She slowly straightened and looked at it. Her hand shaking she reached out to it and picked up the beautiful crystal. All her memories came flooding back and she cried out in shock and pain. She remembered... She remembered everything.... She stood up and put the necklace around her neck and wiped away her tears. "I have to find him!!" she said worriedly and dashed off leaving John behind. She quickly found a damned and used her newfound powers to force him to take her to hell. Once there she ran towards his room. "Alexander!!" she screamed down the halls knowing he would hurt himself because of her stupid tears. "Alexander!!"

A groan came from the end of the hall in Alexanders room. He layed on the bed and his back was covered in blood. No wings where on his back anymore but darkness was still around her. He should have know that taking your wings off when your satin only ment that you where a human but still had some satin powers. But at least he didn't have to hurt Selene anymore. He would be able to be with her.

"Alexander!!" she screamed and stopped in his room door way. She gasped horrified at the sight of his wings on the ground and tears sprung to her eyes. Seeing the blood she ran to him. She reached out hesitantly to him and supported his head. "I was too late... I was too late to stop you..." she whispered horrified and tears spilled down her cheeks. Her tears hit Alexander and she stroked his cheek. "Im sorry.... I'm sorry... This is all my fault... If I had remembered sooner... You could have just changed me to a damned..." she whispered between sobs.

Alexander smiled at her weakly, "and what good would that have done?" he asked and reached out and gently touched her cheek. "that would have just started what happend before. I didn't want that so this is the better choice out of the two. But at least now we can be togeather." he said as he gently whipped her tears away and smiled. No matter how painfull this was it was better then before.

Selene looked at him and shook her head. "But I saw it.... Right before I ran into the magic and lost my memory... I saw us together... And we both had black wings..." she whispered and shook her head. "This is all my fault..." she then kissed him and looked into his eyes lovingly. "Ill never do it again.... I promise... I'll never leave your side again..." she whispered.

Alexander smiled at her and stroked her cheek. "you dont have to promise anything. I am just glad that your okay." he said as he looked at her "and this is also my fault. I was the one who couldn't protect you before and now I was hardly able to save you from satin. Some guardian I turned out to be." he said with a smirk and kissed her cheek.

"But you did save me.... And you unlocked the power Satin couldn't unlock before... You saved me Alexander..." she whispered and stroked his cheek. "You saved me from myself... I was planning to kill myself.... I told you when we first met.... How James had drove me to almost kill myself.... I almost did it... I had decieded that today I was going to do it... Until you showed up..." she whispered and sat on the bed and stroked his cheek. As she did she slowly began to heal his back leaving no scars behide. "And you saved John...." she whispered. "You are the best guardian angel a girl could ever dream of..." she whispered and kissed him. She began to glow slightly as she did and smiled. "Your perfect.... And I love you...." she whispered in between kisses.

Alexander kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her. "and I love you.." he said in between kisses. He would protect her forever and he would love her till the end. Darkness surged around him and intwined itsellf with the light she was giving off. It was like they had just become friends and where now wanting to make up.

Selene smiled and ran her hands threw Alexander's amazing hair. She pressed herself closer wanting him. She knew nothing could keep them apart now. It hadn't exactly worked as they had planned but they were together now and that was all that mattered. She smiled and kissed him along his jaw, his skin tasting sweeter then ever before. She then returned to his lips and bit his lip gently.

Alexander kissed her deeper as he ran his hands down her back. Them being together was the only thing that mattered now and he loved her more then anything else. He growled when he felt her bit his lip and suck his hands up her shirt, wanting her more. She tasted better and better every second of this and he was loving it.

Selene sighed and unbuttoned Alexander's shirt. She pulled it off of him and threw it to the floor. She ran her hands over his chest, completlely and utterly craving him. She then smiled and took off her shirt. She loved the feel of his skin and hers and she growled wanting to hear Alexander's sexy growl.
