Alexander smirked when he heard jackle, they would have to compare lives later and see who had the worst. But he lost his trian of thought when he saw Selene. She was amazing and at first he coudlnt' even say anything. After a while he managed to get out, "you look amazing." and walked over to her, kissing her cheek gently.

Selene blushed more and thanked him. "I don't think amazing does you justice... Angelic maybe..." Jackle said softly. She looked at them both being thrown into the ripping match between Jackle and Alexander. And the thing they were ripping was her heart. It hurt her knowing they expected her to choose. But how could she choose? They were both perfect in her eyes. "Thank you both of you.... Let's go eat..." she said softly and jackle opened the door and waited for them to walk out and followed.

Alexander followed them and knew that Selene would be in better hands with Jackle. He hadn't hurt her the way he has and knew that this fight for her heart wasn't going to last much longer. He knew they where hurting her every second of the day and he didn't want that. He wanted her to be happy without pain and so he decided that when they got to the inn and after they fell asleep he would leave. He would leave a note saying that something happend and that he might come back later.

Selene walked silently and when finding a restraunt she walked inside. As Jackle followed the man behind the stand held up his hand and pointed at the sign. "No shirts no service." the man said evenly and jackle growled. Did this guy have any idea how uncomfortable those things were?! And how hot he got wearing them?! He already had a natural temperature of 110, and shirts didn't exactly help. Selene touched his arm and looked into his eyes knowing this and said softly,"We should go somewhere else." Jackle shook his head and looked at her. "Ill go buy one. Just get a table. I'll be back." he said and left. Selene sighed and said quietly,"Table for three." they were led by a waitress and seated. She looked around and sighed. "People really don't understand how uncomfortable clothes are for Jackle." she said softly.

Alexander leand back in his chair ans sighed, "and most people think that angels and werewolves aren't real." he said as he looked at her and smirked, "and here we are. They just dont realize how much of the things that they dont believe in are really alive and around them every singel day." he said and shook his head as he thought of all the creatures he saw on the way here.

"Thats true...." she said trailing off. She began to become emersed in her own thoughts until she had to ask him the question that had been eating at her for a long time. "Alexander....." she started slowly. "You weren't... Serious, about... You know.... Leaving.... Were you?" she asked softly fear swimming in her eyes. She couldn't imagine life without him. She finally had gotten him back for good and he had said he should leave. The though was horrible enough for her to cry right now.

Alexander saw the look in her eyes and moved closer to her. He knew that she might ask this and had prepared for it. But the fear in her eyes and voice just made it impossible to do. THe look just made it impossible for him to say he saw. He gently reached out and stroked her cheek. "I was for a few minutes but not anymore since I know I cant leave you without tearing out my own heart." he said as he looked at her.

Selene sighed releaved and put her hand on his. "I don't want you to leave... It would be too devistating for me to handle." she said softly and heard an all to fimiliar growle. Jackle had come back and was arguing with the stand man again. "I have a shirt! Your sign says nothing about wearing it!" he growled and Selene stood worriedly. She watched for a second before she noticed Jackle's deep blue eyes growing red. She ran over quickly and took his arm and looked at the man. "There is no reason to not let him dine here... You two are good buisness friends. And friends always let friends have special privliges." she whispered her voice filled with power and her hair waving in the non exsistant breeze. Caught in her trance the man nodded and blinked. "But of course!! Sit down! Sit down! Drinks on me!" he said lightly and grinning Jackle let Selene lead him to the table.

Alexander shook his head and looked at Jackle. "humans can be very annoying sometimes cant they." he said as he looked at him and smiled. He knew that now he wouldn't be going anywhere. Even if he thought about it he wouldnt' be able to do it, he would be ripping out a huge part of himself if he did. He would just stick by her even if or when she did pick jackle.

Jackle grinned and nodded sitting down. Selene returned to her seat and the man brought them drinks. "Thank you." Selene said softly and he smiled. He left hurriedly and Jackle bursted out laughing. "Thats the worst one yet!! That's just horrible!!" he said laughing. "Oh come on... It's sorta believeable." Selene said smiling. "Oh yeah me a working restraunt owner! That'll be the day!" he said laughing and Selene laughed too. "Okay maybe it was a little stretched." she admitted.

Alexander had to laugh with them. "sorry but I can not imagin jackle as a resturant owner. He doesn't look anything close to it." he said and couldn't even picture it. It was really hard and he wondered if the man would be able to break out of the trance. But he hoped not since that would only cause problems for them and they already have had enough probelms.

Selene smiled and shook her head. "Oh come on!! I got you in! Be greatful!" she snapped jokingly and Jackle grinned. "Trust me I'm really greatful." he said smiling. She set down her menu and slid it to Jackle. "I don't even have to guess what your getting." she said rolling her eyes. Jackle opened the menu and then snaped it shut. "Oh you know me too well." he said grinned and leaning back in the chair. "Thats because you order the same thing everytime we go anywhere." she said and his smile widened. "Hey, I do have wolfy needs. It's just a perk in my book." he said smiling. "Oh yes..." Selene said and rolled her eyes.

Alexander smirked and picked out some random thing on the menu. He didn know that werewolves ate a lot of meat to he knew that he probably was getting a steak to eat. But that was fine since food was food and you had to eat what you had to eat. He then thought of what they where doing after this and smiled when he thought of a inn. It reminded him of all the times he sent there with Selene.

As the waiter came up and was about to speak Jackle said,"The biggest piece of meat you've got in there. A huge side of fries and the meat rare. What do you guys want?" he asked and grinned. Selene shook her head smiling and ordered cheese filled ravioli. She set down her menu and Jackle looked at her. "What?" she demanded quietly. "Oh and she wants a martini dry, three olives and like those fruity twists." he said and Selene looked at him shocked. The waiter nodded and left after taking Alexander's order. "Im not drinking!" she hissed and he grinned. "Come on i've got beer and so does Alexander. Relax." he said and she sighed. "Fine.... But how'd you remember?" she asked and he smiled softly. "Its what you ordered when we first met." he said softly and she blushed fiercely.

Alexander leand back in his chair and watched the two. In a way he felt the the third wheel since they where so close. Jackle knew one side of her and he knew a different side. He wondered if the Selene he knew was done, buired under all of that old Selene that he barely knew. But it was still Selene and he vowed to protect her and he would. he would protect her till the day that he died and wouldn't stop.

Selene smiled and sat back in her seat. She could feel Alexander's ackwordness. She knew that he was just as scared of her choice as she was. And she knew Jackle was scared too... Even if he didn't show it. "Excuse me..." she said and got up. She headed for the restroom to hide the tears that were threatening to fall. As she turned the corner out of their sight the tears began to fall. She didn't notice anyone as she walked and bumbed into someone. Startled she looked up and gasped. "Long time no see baby." James said and grinned. "James?!" she said bewildered. He didn't let her finish and kissed her. His touch let his powers come and take over her body. He smiled and lead her into the private bathroom. He locked the door and turned to her. "James let me go!" she hissed angerily trying to pry him off of her wrist. "I don't think so." he said and kissed her again.

ALexander sat there for a little while and when she didn't come back he knew something was wrong. She was either crying or something bad happend. He then got up and slowly made his way over, just thinking that she was crying and needing comfort. But when he got that feeling, that feeling he got when he had seen her with james he growled. He went straight to the door. He heard something and could feel Selene in there. He didn't even bother with teh door. He simply just kicked it down and when he saw james he growled even more. He griped him by the back of the shirt and picked him up off of the ground and away from Selene, "what in gods name do you think your doing." he growled and his voice showed he wasn't going to be nice this time.

James was surprised and smiled dangerously at Selene. She looked up fearfully and he slipped out of his shirt and pounced Alexander in the face sending him flying. He then grabbed Selene again and pulled her to her feet. She struggled and someone tapped James's shoulder. Jackle towered behind James and James threw a pounch at him. Jackle easily caught his fist and said,"What do you think you're doing?" his voice held dangerous tones and his grip tightened on James's fist. You could hear the sikening crack of the breaking knuckles. "Let take this outside." he growled his grip tightening more breaking even more bones. He dragged James outside and Selene ran to Alexander's side. "Are you okay?" she asked wiping off the blood and heard a loud snarrle but did nothing. James deserved what Jackle had in store for him.

Alexander nodded and slowly got up, "yeah fine." he said and whipped away the rest of the blood. He then looked at Selene and checked her over. He sighed when he saw that she wasn't hurt and kissed her forhead. "glad that I got here in time." he said then stood up, pulling her up with him. "we better go see what jackle has done to james." he said when he heard the snarrling and then nothing.

Suddenly a howle pierced the air and Selene bolted out the door. She tracked the blood trail and found Jackle feeding on James's mutilated body in wolf form. It looked nothing like his form before. There was no human in his features. He was also as big as a building this time. "Jackle!" she said and he turned to her blood lust in his eyes. He dropped James's body and looked at her blood dripping from his mouth. "Jackle don't do something you'll regret..." she said slowly as he came towards her. He then snapped at her and she dodged his jaws barely. He then scooped her up ruffly and took off towards the trees. "Alexander!" she screamed as he growled and snapped at her again barely missing.

Alexander heard her and ripped his wings out of his shirt and took off after them. He saw james dead body on the ground. That made him smiled but he still said a small prayer for him since he was still his brother. He then took off after the screaming and soon saw a big ball of fur runing thre the forest. He knew it was james and tacked him in the back as hard as he could. That made him drop selene and he quickly moved so he stood between them. "james calm down." he growled at him.

Jackle growled and snarrled angerily. "Alexander he wont listen..." Selene warnned and the wolf snapped at Alexander. He just missed and growled more. He then dug his massive claws into the ground and jumped over Alexander. He put a paw on Selene knocking the air out of her lunges and growled lowering his ears. Selene struggled but couldn't get free of the massive paw.

Alexander quickly turned and kicked jackle, sending him away form Selene, "get out of there then, I need to calm him down." he said as he started to circle jackle as he did the same to him. They looked like two animals fighting for a mate or food. In a way they where since they weren't that different from animals.

"She's mine!" Jackle snarrled angerily at Alexander. Selene looked up shocked. "What are you doing?!" she cried to them realizing what was going on. Jackle had tricked her into thinking he had gone savage! To do what?! Fight over her?! "No stop this!!" she called angerily. "Selene, this is the only way we can choose!!! And you know that you can't pick!" he said and she was silent. She knew he was right. "Why this way?" she choked nearly in tears. "I won't fight if you promise to choose." he said stopping his circling. "You know I can't..." she whispered. "Then we'll deside who's the better man!" Jackle said and growled at Alexander. Selene looked away not baring to watch this.

Alexander growled at him and knew that he wouldn't be able to win with strangth alone and he also didn't want to fight Jackle. THey where friends even though they where going for the same girl. He then took his wings out and flapped them, taking off into the air and hovered high in the air. He didn't want to fight if it ment hurting Selene.
