There it was, the glowing rock. It had symbols all over its surface. The masked figure took it and ran. Rock traps began to fall. It held out his hand, they all stopped. It jumped and did not land. The figure flew between them. It hadn't paid attention and it hit a hanging stone. The sounds began to echo, then suddenly stopped, It was going to land, but it had been over a bridge. Underneath was a river of Lava. The figure didn't burn, but it did shoot up as if it had come from a volcano. This, this Thing, was the very first Elemental. The figure came out from the hidden cave still holding the stone tablet.

The stone had so many symbols, it was some unknown language. Only bits and pieces of it could be deciphered. What they could figure out was only a small piece of it. Even then it wasn't exact, only general. It said something about Elements separating from one, then disappearing.

The masked figure disappeared shortly after.

About fifty years later the scientists managed to decipher another piece of the strange tablet. This is not the end, in fifty years, they will be found once more. Not as powerful as the first, as powers will be divided between them. A small war will start, but the battle will not end. All will vanish before the battle ends.

Eight figures came to be. Nature, Earth, Darkness, Light, Fire, water, Air, and Sound. Two of them, one male, one female. She controlled Nature, he controlled earth.The two began to fight.

Meanwhile others tried to live normal lives like normal people. It was hard, but most were successful. Only one didn't live a normal life. She hadn't really tried. She controlled sound. The only reason she couldn't was because o her trances. The tablet tried to pull the elements together using the girls element of sound. This kept the girl from a 'normal' life.

The battling foe's fight lasted for so long, neither remembered why they even started. Something about their powers though. Both fought until they learned the truth. Once it was uncovered, all the elmentals disappeared yet again.

No one read the rest of the tablet. No one could. The one who had tried had been put into an insane asylum out of fear. No one knew what had happened to the tablet. It might have been sold, or thrown away, maybe hidden or simply lost. No one though that it may have disappeared too.

This brings us to the present, eight teens will be transported to another world. The very same one the tablet had come to. This is war, They can all feel it. Its life or death. Not because of war. For only one simple reason. The decedents of nature and earth continued to fight for the tablet, and only those two knew why. Only those two knew the truth.

It was their only chance of living. Only four could use it. Why didn't they both use it? Simple, Four must believe one another, trust each other with their lives.

When the power is used, Those four will return to their world as if nothing happened, the other four? We think its death, but no one knows for sure.

Ⓔʃɜɱɜɳʈʂ

Fire
Obviously highly offensive. Lots of destruction and chaos can be ensued by creating it, and using it. Can also be used to warm and cook for allies however.

Water
Mostly offensive, with jets of water and waves of destruction to smash upon enemies. Can also supply fellow allies with water by purifying streams and springs, and coupled with wind can make boating trips far, far shorter.

Wind
Defensive & offense, with razor winds and a powerful gales and such at the users disposal, light weight enemies are literally blown away, and heavier ones are put off-balance at the least. However, this is not as powerful as over pure offensive elements- but the winds can be used to protect allies, if one uses them correctly.

Earth
Defensive mostly, creating stone walls and shields for allies, and traps such as crevices in the earth to slow down enemies, Earth can alter terrain to advantage of its allies and disadvantage of enemies. Although lacking in major strength, a boulder to the face would hurt quite a bit nonetheless. A main drawback would be a heavy weight.

Nature
Balanced, creating strangling vines and making nearby trees and branches fall on opponents, as well as enlisting nearby beasts to aid the user, this element can be quite nasty when backed into a corner. Can also protect allies with walls of forest if need be, and supply them with fresh fruit to eat.

Sound
Tactical, with some offensive. Able to scream and cause pain through the ears to enemies if need be, the user can inflict some damage- although it is relatively minor and usually just used as a distraction so they might run away. However, if they use their abilities on the battlefield wisely, they can become an extremely good form of indirect damage to the opposition. Doing things such as muting commanders voices to they can't give orders, changing specific words in peoples sentences, and overhearing enemy battle plans are just a few ways this element can be used to great effect. Also had the ability to channel the tablet, but never remembers afterward

Light
Balanced. When need be, light can shine brightly to do two things- to give off a signal to allies, and to blind opponents temporarily. As well as this, the element has the underlying ability to instill hope to its allies, and encourage their efforts and actions positively.

Darkness
Balanced. When need be, Darkness can blacken out any area for one of two reasons- to confuse the enemy and dislocate them, and to hide allies under a veil of shadow. As well as this, Darkness is know to have the underlying ability to instill fear into peoples minds, causing enemies to tremble and motivate allies if need be.

Her father had died when she was young and she knew she had at one point a brother, but he had passed away as well. Want to hear a story? Here's one Hibiki was always able to hear much better than anyone else. She even spoke before she turned one because she could hear how each sound was different. her parents though she was just smart. As Hibiki grew older they realized she wasn't really a smart kid, she was average, she just spoke first. She also had a short attention span and great hearing.
Although, every so often her eyes would just go blank and she'd stop responding. Her parents had her checked by all kinds of doctors, but no one found anything wrong. They gave her contacts and just assumed she stopped for attention. No one, Not even Hibiki knew what it was that caused her trances.

People say I'm Energetic, I like to try new things and I can get bored fairly easily. While I love sports and music, I’m not very academic, though I love English, especially writing stories. I’m almost always seen with a smile or a joking attitude, if I’m not, then something is very wrong…Or I’m tired. While I like being with others, I only have a small group of friends compared to most people, but those friends are the ones I’d give my life for. I can never be tied down, and I’m not someone you should trust with your deepest darkest secret, I have been known to use it against people when it helps me, though that’s rare. I’m very two faced at times, I can be your best friend, then be talking harshly about you to someone else the next minute, but never when it concerns my closest friends. In short, unless you're a close friend of mine, don't trust me, cause I'm not afraid to use someone, trample them and leave them if it comes down to that.

Want to hear a story? Here's one. I live with my dad and my mum. However, for as long as I could remember, mum’s been really sick, she rarely leaves the house let alone her bed. Dad always says she’ll get better, but I don’t believe him. Because dad’s always trying to look after mum, I’m given a lot of freedom. I don’t see dad much because he’s either at work, or with mum, so I’m also very independent. School has always bored me, the only lessons I like are ones involving sport or music, so I don’t get on with the teachers well. I don’t make friends easily either, and went through a period of bullying when some kids found out about mum. I powered through it though, and got some great friends from it who stood up for me. I don’t mind getting down and working, I’ve had my fair share of fights in my life, and I don’t mind loosing. I’ve come home with bruises and a black eye once, dad asked if I won and I said no, he just gave me an ice pack and we carried on like normal.

Having everyone that you care about in your life disappear one at a time is hard. You start to blame yourself, thinking that maybe, just maybe, its your fault.
