honestly I can't stand the stuff. don't know why.
I really just work through the fatigue and sleep later.
I also don't like the idea of spending so much money every year on something like that. it's like cig's in my point of view.

all of my friends think I'm crazy for it.

Coffee is a staple in this house. It's a habitual thing to wake up, grab a cup of coffee, and mess around on the internet. That's how I start my day.

I looove the iced coffees McDonalds have come out with, even if they are pricey. And every once and again I love to treat myself to a Starbucks Frappacino. Iced coffee is very yummy, if done right.

I usually have to put in two teaspoons of sugar and some creamer. I want to try some of this "Sun Crystals" sweetener that's apparently natural and only 5 cals. I got a coupon for a buck off so I'm very curious. Anyone try it? Most low cal sweetners are too sweet and filled with stuff that I don't know it's very good for you to begin with. :|

When I use to have to wake up at the butt crack of dawn, I relied on coffee to wake me up so I could drive into work. I've had a few nights where I couldn't sleep worth crap and I'd drive in and somehow got myself to work in one piece (highly suggest against driving while tired - it's really hard and dangerous...) and the only way I got through my 8 hour day is getting several cups in at work. Otherwise, I would of seriously just crashed at my desk. I've been tempted to a few times.

S E K U S H i i-

probably a caffeine sensitivity. xD I know a few people like that.

shadow never seen-

I don't blame you. Lots of people don't like coffee. =P However, you obviously don't realize how cheap coffee beans actually are. Seriously, it's insanely affordable for a vice, unlike cigs.

Izumi-

I whole-heartedly agree. Although I drink my coffee black at home, when I go out I either get a flavorless double-shot late with half-and-half or I get a frappucino. A girl has to treat herself on occasion, right?

I'm an addict for coffee. When I feel I need that good 'ol caffeine, I go and get myself some. I don't like to rely on it, and I don't have any exciting fun stories about it. Well, I can't think of any, but I love waking up to that lovely smell <3

I used to drink coffee during my breaks at work, but I stopped after a while because the creamer they used made me feel sick, that put me off white coffee completely really and I didn't drink it for years. Then I started drinking it again but without any milk. That's fine for me now, I much prefer the flavour, and it doesn't have that GROSS smell that white coffee does.

I have to be careful round the stuff though, too strong a blend and the caffeine just about kills me, it makes me really light-headed and woozy for several hours after drinking it, so I tend to stick with tea and only drink coffee after a meal if I'm eating out, so there's a nice amount of food in my belly to soak up the caffeine!

The only coffee that really keeps me together is straight espresso. In fact, my first experience with coffee was a black espresso that my dad had made himself before work. He had been driving me to school, and I asked if I could try it. All it took was ONE sip, and I was energized for the rest of the day XD

I looooove the flavor of coffee, though, especially when some of the bitterness has been drowned in cream and flavoring syrups. My mouth is addicted to it, heh.

Fun and exciting stories?

Not so much.

I thrive on caffeine in the form of energy drinks and Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

Ooooh, coffee, coffee, coffee, coffee.
How I love thee.

I've always loved coffee, but I never drink too much.
It gives me heartburn or a headache in large portions. ;o;

:Edit?:
I've seen people talking about tea as well...
I absolutely love a nice hot cup of tea when it's cold out...
Heh, I drink more tea than coffee, though, so I have a nice balance there. ^_^

Miss Krigg

In my kitchen right now I have Earl Grey, Black, Green, and three kinds of Chai. :3 I enjoy tea, just not as much as coffee.

Macabeak-

I like your avvy! It looks eerily similar to my own.

Annoyer of the Masses-

-patpat- I's so sowwy. I know what it's like to suffer from when you take way too much caffeine. >> It shucks serious corn.

wow, are you guys serious? O.o

caffeine doesnt affect me at all! well, i might add to much cream or milk and sugar for the caffeine to affect lol. i have to drink a ton in order to get that jittery, and i like that feeling. XD but i pretty much never get it. one of these days im gonna see how much coffee it takes to affect me. XD but i never feel especially energised, though. i just love the flavor, and it simply wouldnt be the same if it was caffeine free.

I don't actually get a buzz at all from caffeine. I am convinced I'm addicted because my body reacts poorly when I go without it, but when I drink it the stuff does nothing to keep me awake. I drink caffeinated beverages strictly for their flavor.

Except that bitter zing of scalding hot coffee in the morning wakes me up pretty well.

I wasn't a coffee drinker until about two Christmas holidays ago.

The taste, even the smell, when I was little was incredibly revolting. I didn't understand how adults could force themselves to drink something so bitter, so dry, even when they said it was an addiction.

My mother one day, not too long ago, returned home one cold afternoon with a coffee. I was curious, and I always lean over the cup to smell what she bought, and this time had a sip. It was creamy and smooth; unlike previous sips where I was greeted with a mouth full of what I would like to imagine was thinly-disguised puddle-water.

As it turns out, during the holiday seasons, the little coffee stands in town will have specials where they make eggnog lattes. Well, for about two weeks, that was all I had. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner; espresso, coffee, espresso. All mixed in with delicious coffee.

To this day, I enjoy an occasional eggnog latte, but I prefer my coffee after dinner with dessert rather than in the morning.

yeah I get that too. If I don't have a cup in the morning I end up with a "caffiene headache". and if I don't have another in the afternoon I get snappy.

I started drinking coffee when I was in middle school. Mom gave me a cup and I fell in love then. I drank coffee a lot when I was in high school because I would stay up late to do homework and I needed the energy. I drank a lot of coffee when I went to college, and now as a recent grad, I only drink one cup of coffee a day. Because mom started me on it in middle school, it has significantly stunted my growth about two inches. Oh well...

If I didn't have coffee I could not be successful in college. It has kept me up when I needed to study and comforted me when I needed something warm to drink. It makes me jittery and wacky though I must say. Some of my friends tell me to lay off the sweets at work because I tend to run circles around them and I get totally entertained by that fact because I'm nearly eight years older than most of them.

Do you have any fun, exciting stories of when coffee was all that kept you held together? :3 How did it go? Would you ever do it again?
Or do you even drink coffee?
Coffee is Good, but Bad too.

I mean I once got hooked on cappuccino on a ferry ride, but it means I couldn't sleep after the 3rd cup.
