Kingdom Hearts: Every Key Needs a Lock

Three years after the defeat of Organization XIII, life had mostly gone back to normal, but with changes that time usually brings about. Riku left Destiny Islands to explore the world like he always wanted. Kairi went off to college and, seeing that he could not "grow up," sadly broke up with Sora. One day, the Heartless and the Nobodies attacked the Destiny Islands again, this time working with each other. Sora brought out his Keyblade and fought against this threat valiantly, but for some reason, his Keyblade didn't even effect the creatures. Lucky for him, Donald, Goofy, and King Mickey arrived in time on their Gummi Ship to rescue Sora. As the four left, Sora helplessly looked on as his homeworld was consumed by the darkness once more.

Once in the reformed Traverse Town, Sora and his group met up again with Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, Cloud, Cid, and his other friends from Radiant Garden, which had also been destroyed. Caught up with everyone, King Mickey then spoke of the relationship of the worlds' keyholes and the Keyblade. It turns out that this new threat is breaking the keyholes, which caused the Keyblade to be rendered useless ("After all, what good is a key without a lock?" the King offered). He also spoke of a weapon that could restore the keyholes: the Lockblade. Though it's the one thing that could save the universe, its whereabouts are unknown.

Meanwhile, worlds away, a small world known as St. Ivalice is also under attack by this new combined effort. A young girl named Terra Branford, nearly consumed by the darkness, finds herself in possession of the Lockblade. With this new weapon, she tries to fight off this threat, but is too late to save her world and is swept up into the darkness.

Rules
(Read them; I wrote them in red for a reason!)

1. Follow Menewsha Terms of Service. No brainer.

2. No godmoding/powerplaying. If you're attacking another player, give them a chance to respond. If you're being attacked, don't automatically dodge every attack.

3. Romance is allowed, but no cybering, please. We don't need to see that.

4. Cursing is allowed, but don't go overboard. (Any instances of "fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck" or "fuckity ass shit shit cunt" will get you summarily booted from this RP).

5. There is only one Lockblade, which is wielded by Terra Branford. Keyblades, however, are readily available to those whose characters use them.

6. I have a thread in the OOC forum for profile posting. Post them there, as any profile PM'd to me will be ignored. My decision will be posted there as well.

7. Semi-lit to literate roleplayers are welcome. Posts should be two to three sentences at a minimum.

8. Please use quotation marks when your character is talking, and don't surround your character's actions with **. If you're making a quick OOC note, please use (()), [[]], or {{}} and use a different font/size/color (or any combination of the three) than what you usually use for roleplaying.

9. Please spell-check your posts to the best of your ability. Most browsers, such as Safari and Firefox, have spell-check software. If your browser does not, please copy your post before posting and paste it into a word processor that does and make changes as needed. Any instances of txt or l33t while in character (unless that character is on a cellphone or something) will not be tolerated.

In the course of three years, his mother and father passed from AIDS; Doned died when his severely weakened immune system could no longer fight the illness he had. Marche also found himself admitted to the special orphanage, where he met Terra Branford and where he stayed until his homeworld was destroyed.
Other: He also mysteriously gained superb fighting abilities, and has a crush on Terra. Also, he still wonders how he managed to stave off the strain of HIV when his family succumbed to it.

The trio remained close to each other until their world was destroyed.

Her favorite outfit is a white tank and black pants. She has shoulder-length hair that is a deep blue with some black on the underside. She has light blue eyes and is about 5'5 with a fair complection.

Weapon: Lurias has come into possesion of a Keyblade. Her keyblade is silver and black and is shapped much like the oblivion. It is mostly black and the silver runs up and down the keyblade trailing around it in spiral like lines. The keychain is half of a heart on a spiral chain.

Homeworld: Once living on Destiny Islands Lurias has called Traverse Town her home for many years.

Personality: Lurias is kind and soft spoken. She is very open in some ways but in others she does not like to let people in. She keeps things bottled up at times until she explodes.
Lurias is a kind friend despite the fact that she tells little about herself. She has a soft spot that drives her to protect her friends and even claim some as family.
However if doesnt let out her frustrations after bottling them up she can snap. Lurias is pretty scary when she snaps.

Bio: Lurias was born on the same island as Sora, Riku, and Kairi and played with them on occasions. However she left so quickly she doubts that any of them even remember her. Lurias came into the possion of her keyblade (Rasen)((Spiral)) many years later. Unable to save a close friend of hers she was attacked by a heartless and lost her heart.
A nobody named Curixas was born. Her nobody was not excepted by Xenmas and was only allowed around because Zexion kept her as a partner. Despite this Cruixas knew something was wrong and fought until she found a way to bring back Lurias with Zexion's help.
Lurias has since then vowed to become stronger.

Other: Lurias will often look away as if she is lost in thought or searching for someone. Also she has the strangest aura that often has people like her instantly.

The Old Man adopted her as a granddaughter, and Blahrtohk quickly came to love her as his younger sister. She gave her name when they first asked her, and those were the last words she spoke aloud. She has minor telepathy; she can hear you if you think *at* her, and she can think to others, but she cannot invade people's minds to read them. Finally, in a desperate last ditch effort, he used the last of his magic - and quite a bit of his life energy - to teleport himself and his grandchildren to Traverse Town. Now in the care of Aeris, by his and her estimation even in the best of circumstances it will be at least a year before he is useful again, and at least five years of recovery before he is back to full health and capabilities again. he has no magic left, and can do nothing but stay in Traverse Town and rest.

Terra

A clear, star-filled night sky greeted Terra Branford's vision as she groggily opened her eyes.
Where am I? she thought to herself. What is this place?
She sat up and looked around. Whatever this place was, it looked like a 19th century English town. To make matters worse, she was sitting on the roof of a building of sorts.
Her gaze then shifted to her palms that she held in front of her.
Back there...
Memories floated through her head of what seemed like moments ago (she didn't know how long she was out). Her, jumping, flipping, wielding that strange sword expertly, fighting off those creatures like it was nothing. Martial arts masters and action movie heroes train for years to fight like she did; how did she suddenly find out about these skills?
She sighed. Well, I'm not answering any questions just by sitting here, she resolved, carefully standing up. I need to find a way off of this roof.
CRACK!
The sound of wood cracking made Terra look at her feet. Apparently the owners of this building had some shoddy roof repairs done, shoddy repairs that she was about to undo.
Oh, crap.
The wood finally split, leaving Terra to fall to the ground below.

Marche

Marche awakened in an alley, nearly surrounded by crates.
"Where am I?" he groaned, standing up. "And how did I get here?"
He remembered what happened. Those strange creatures, a large group attacking him, him getting swallowed up...
Then a thought crossed his mind that made him jump: If he was here, then his other friends must be nearby!
"Mewt!" he called out before running towards the entrance of the alley. "Ritz!" He ran into the town's square.
"TERRA!"

Terra

Terra cautiously stood up and rubbed her sore butt. Having fallen maybe a floor and a half, none of her bones seemed to be broken, but her bottom was really sore from absorbing most of the fall.
Looking around the place, it seemed to be a shop. Its shelves were stocked with vials filled with a mysterious liquid, tents, cottage kits, and other wares that she had never seen before. Behind the counter were three young ducks; one dressed in red, another in blue, and the last one in green, and all of them were none too happy.

Fran was walking around Traverse town following a dream having to do with a girl carrying what looked like a padlock. The lock seemed mysterious and felt powerful. It seemed like it had an aura of some sort that she couldn't define. As she walked along the road her eyes were drawn to what looked to be a shop and started thinking <My travel supplies are running lowp>. Fran headed toward the shop and walked inside seeing broken sections of ceiling ln the floor surrounding a girl on the floor. She walked up to the counter and spoke in a throaty voice "I need to restock on travel supplies a tent, some potions, and a weeks worth of food"

Huey, Dewey, and Louie

It was a slow day at the item shop. The boys were about to doze off before the loud sound of wood cracking stole their attention.
Much to their dismay, the wood that patched up the giant hole in the roof now had a giant crack down the middle.
"Uh oh," the three said in unison, staring expectantly at the wood.
As if on cue, the wood gave way, followed by a human girl roughly five years their senior who landed smack on her butt. Their initial grimacing from watching the girl fall that far and land on her butt soon gave to anger about the roof. As she stood up, Huey unloaded on her.
"What's the big idea?!" Huey yelled at her. "That cost a fortune to fix!"
The girl looked away, dejected.
"Man, how are we going to fix that now?" Dewey asked to no one in general, staring at the hole in the roof.
"And business isn't exactly booming right now," Louie reminded everyone, looking at a nearly empty cash register. "I don't know how we're going to find the money to pay for this."
Huey growled. "Why, I oughta..."
Before Huey could do anything, a scantily clad, big breasted viera woman walked into the store and up to the counter, immediately capturing all the boy's attention.
"I need to restock on supplies," she told them. "A tent, some potions, and a week's worth of food."
"Whatever you say, ma'am," Dewey told her dreamily.
Huey smacked his triplet brother upside his head.
"Get it together, Dewey!" he told him before heading into the back.
"Hey, wait for me!" Dewey called after his brother, running after him

Terra

Great Terra thought as the duck in red yelled at her. Just great. I don't even take five steps, and I find myself in trouble.
"Man, how are we gonna fix that now?" the duck in blue whined, staring at the hole.
"And business isn't exactly booming right now," the duck in green said dismally, staring into their cash register drawer.
"Why I oughta..." the duck in red growled, ready to pounce.
Suddenly, what looked like a hybrid between a rabbit and a woman walked in, seemingly only dressed in lingerie and boots.
The three ducks seemed to nearly fall over themselves looking at her as she approached the counter, and Terra couldn't really blame them. Not only did she have rabbit ears and impressively long hair, her breasts--which made her A cups look like mosquito bites--looked ready to pop out of her top.
"I need to restock on travel supplies," she told them. "A tent, some potions, and a week's worth of food."
"Whatever you say, ma'am," one of the ducks told her, slurring his words slightly.
An idea snapped Terra out of staring at the woman, something she felt retroactively embarrassed about. While they were busy with the woman, she could sneak out.
As the ducks and woman continued with their transaction, Terra quietly tried to sneak out of the store. Listening to the ducks, however, she couldn't help but roll her eyes.
Boys.

Fran turned around seeing the girl trying to sneak out as the three boys went to go get her supplies. The moment she saw her she spoke to the girl "I've seen you before" This girl had the same aura as the pad lock from her dreams and she looked like the girl from her dreams as well. She knew there was a reason for her coming here on her airship she thought as she bent over almost double to scratch her lower leg.

Terra

"I've seen you before."
Terra stopped cold when she heard these words. It didn't come from any of the three ducks, no. It came from the woman. When she turned to her, the woman was scratching her lower leg as if nothing had happened.
Freaked out by the woman, she ran out of the store and continued running.

Fran stood up seeing the girl run out of the store. Normally she wouldn't chase after her not having any sort of treasure on her but this girl was something she was looking for. The Viera left the building to give chase to the girl. Her long legs plus her natural speed allowed her to catch up to the girl easily and ran beside her. "I only need to speak with you."

Terra

Holy crap, she's fast! Terra thought, noticing that the woman had caught up to her. The woman said that she only wanted to speak with her, but she wasn't fixing to buy it.
Terra tried to run faster, knowing that she couldn't outrun the woman. She had to find a way to shake her.

Fran needed to speak to her as she felt compelled to do. "I saw you in a dream" It was no coincedence that she saw this girl here after seeing her in a dream. It was weird though because she had lost her hearing of the forest long ago.

Terra

This chase has to stop, soon, Terra mentally summed up. She had been running for quite some time and couldn't keep going much longer.
A building to her left caught her eye. So, she swung a hard left and ran into the building, slamming the door behind her.
Once inside, Terra nearly collapsed, she was so winded. Each breath came in gasps while her heart raced. Not even a minute had passed when screams came from the hallway.
I can't go anywhere in this place without stirring up trouble, can I? she mentally grimaced.

Fran couldn't turn as sharply as the girl sae was chasing because of her stilletos so she wasn't able to get in the door. Fran had decided to look for another way in so she walked the border of the building and found an open window and climbed into an empty room quietly. She left the room into a hallway and sniffed around for the girl as she walked the halls.

Terra

A man came running out of the hallway into the lobby that she was in, screaming bloody murder. What was pursuing him, however, caught Terra by surprise.
That thing... she thought, memories of St. Ivalice's final moments flashing in her head once more. It's one of the dark creatures from St. Ivalice!
She felt something materialize in her right hand. When she looked down to see what it was, she noticed that it was the lock blade thing that she used to fight the creatures back there.
Somehow, she knew what she had to do.
As the creature lunged for the man, Terra ran and jumped toward it, smacking it out of the way with her blade. Two more hits later, and it was defeated. She stood up when a thought crossed her mind:
Maybe this is why I can fight so well... she thought as she looked at the weapon in her hand. Maybe... I'm supposed to fight these things...
Something grabbed onto her shirt, which nearly made Terra jump out of her skin. She whirled around and assumed a fighting stance, only to face the man, who was on his knees and in tears.
"P-p-p-please!" he blubbered to her. "There are more of them down that hall! Please get rid of them!"
She looked at the hallway. Nobody knew what kinds of creatures would be down that hall, or how many of them. Still...
She turned back to the man and gave a firm nod of confirmation.
"Oh, thank you!" he cried before hightailing it out of the building.
She looked at the hallway again. She didn't have a clue what she was getting herself into.
Regardless of whatever danger awaited her, she started walking down the hall, her hand firmly gripping the sword.

Fran walked the halls in search of Terra when she heard the screaming and faced it. When she heard fighting going on soon after and drew he bow off of her back and cocked it, despite her weak looking frame though she easily held it. She walked the hall way watching down the shaft of the arrow on a hairline trigger. She saw a shadow jump from a hole in the ceiling. Before it touched the ground though she sent the arrow whistling straight into it's small body instantly killing it. She kept her bow in her left hand as she knelt down to examine this strange creature though it disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving only the arrow behind. <What was that thing?> she thought as she picked up her arrow. She remembered the screaming she had heard and redrew her bow and walked down the hall once more in search of the screaming but was soon trapped in tha hall by 4 of the same little shadows(2 in front 2 behind).

Terra

Terra's journey down the hall was mostly creature-free until it forked at the end. To her left, the hall continued a ways before going deeper in the direction she was facing. To her right was a dead end, occupied by some creatures and the woman from earlier.
Instinctively, Terra put her back to the right wall, peering at the situation before returning her head behind the wall to avoid being seen.
The woman had her bow drawn, ready to fire. That might work for taking out one of the creatures, but the other three would surely attack before she had a chance to grab another arrow. If this standoff continued, however, all four would pounce. Either way, the outcome didn't look good unless someone did something.
And since Terra was the closest person who could fight these things, she found herself unsure of what to do. Should she save the woman she's been running from and risk whatever the woman would do to her? Should she continue through the building and leave the woman to the creature's mercy? If she saved her, the woman might serve as a useful ally against these creatures. If she didn't, well...
Now that she thought about it, she didn't really see much of an upside to not saving her.
With that, she charged towards the creatures and gave the two behind her a good strike.

Fran shot her arrow at on of the shadows in front of her and the second one jumped at her and she instantly shot a fireball at the second one killing them both.
