Disgusting? Probably cauliflower, it's too dry and stalky. Then the artichoke heart, it's too pungent, I only like scraping off the little bits on the leaves/flower petals.

Wow, this is so interesting. I'm glad I made this thread. I've never heard of so many people hating carrots before XD

I used to eat the normal sized carrots as a kid and pretend I was Bugs Bunny "eh, what's up Doc?" XD

I like avocado though. They're good with salt, and it's very high in potassium. They're out of season though, and carrot cake is better than actual carrots btw. Even though I don't mind carrots, love the stuff; the cake more than the carrots. lol.

Mom and Dad would eat artichokes with mayo. This is what an artichoke looks like:



You boil it first, and peel off the peelings and eat them, not all of it but soft part that falls off.*shudders*

Haha. I used to think the same thing until my mum made portabella mushrooms marinated in a super yummy sauce. Since then I've liked mushrooms... but not raw, I only ever eat them when they've keep cooked in some kind of sauce, I hate the taste of them raw.

I can't stand eating artichokes. I agree with canned peas too since they are gross. Fresh peas are okay though. Raw tomatoes are another one I can't eat by themselves but I do like that if they're cooked on have something on them. Since I stopped eating meat I've found I like a lot more veggies than I thought I did which is odd because I never used to eat any veggies years ago.

Peas. Too many peas were smashed into the salads on my family's holidays in my childhood. It was like, all the salad consisted of was peas.

Every other veggie I love though. Especially beans and artichoke.

I'm highly allergic to soy, so anytime I eat it (or anything with it in there) I'll go into anaphylactic shock within 30 minutes if I don't catch it in time.
For the taste, though, I'm going to have to say green beans. They taste like everything unhappy.

Ah, excellent question. I HATE carrots and onions. Onions are a veggie, right? Well, who cares, it's just foul! Both of them are and I HATE it!

I mean, raw carrots just need to disappear, and soft carrots are mushy and smell like... carrots. :stare: Which in itself is just bad. Screw good eyesight, I'd rather wear glasses/contacts all my life. Which, I have a feeling the carrots = good eyesight was all some big lie made up by communists. JUST KIDDING! Seriously though, yuck.

And onions! Who would enjoy a food that makes you cry? Not me. Then again, I could be the insane one and onion lovers could have the common sense. Whatever, still doesn't click with me yet.

If you like these two demon foods, good for you. That means you have destroyed your tear ducts and now have x ray vision! 1 for you, 0 for me.

My personal oppion, all of them are disgusting, if anything can cause a gag reflex by just touching your tongue then it has got to be that bad XP >_<

@ Mystic: I had thought tomatoes were a fruit XD If they don't count as fruit, then I DESPISE raw tomatoes. They're awesome in sauce form, but past that, I can't stand them. They're bland, they're slimy, they're... blech.

But I agree with you. I only like tomatoes in pizza sauce and ketchup.

I love every vegetable... except probably brussel sprouts, they don't taste good with anything in my opinion. I do love lima and chickpeas they're delicious vegetables. ;D

haha. Ya, I didn't even know what that was until I went to college. It's not too bad fried, but still not very tasty. My mum calls it 'lizards tail' for some reason XP

Hmmm. I don't love artichokes, but we usually eat them with melted butter and anything's tasty with enough butter... Eggplant's a little weird, too.

OH.

Spinach. Cooked spinach. It's slimy and gloppy and squishy and stinky and ewwwww. Fresh spinach is okay, oddly enough, but if you cook it , you kill it. xP
