I think some of the best parts about it are getting free candy and getting to dress up as whatever you please. Just having fun with the people you celebrate it with is good too. Anyways, what's your favorite part of Halloween that you enjoy most?

Mine would be the fact that I can completely be myself and dress how I want to and I won't be considered a freak or weird just because of it, you have a good point, the free candy is awesome but I like the not being judged part better ^_^

I love to dress up! That's why I love Halloween and I love going to Conventions.

I love to dress up. I'm also having a Halloween party this year, so we're going to release our inner four-year-old, go get some CANDAY! and then watch scary movies.

I think I could even use some of my every-day clothes for halloween X3 (You have to be dressed as something scary for halloween where I live)
And I must agree that free candy is awesome. It's just that the tradition is pretty new here, so the old people (who are supposed to always have lots of candy) don't even know about the tradition, and people would probably also think that my friends and I are too old for getting free candy =.=
I just hope there will be a halloween party this year, cause I love it. Just that everything has to be spooky ^^

My friends and I are dressing up in our Halloween costumes for the Homecoming dance, even though we're told not to.
My costume is still a dress, so they can't complain.

I think Halloween is a deviation from the norm in a lot of senses. I think Halloween allows people to have a very interesting form of expression without social backlash and is a time we can reflect a little more on the picturesque and dark side of the human soul. While Halloween has it's historical and cultural significances, I tend to really look at it not just as a pagan holiday, but as a day that we can remember the dead and tradition while really turning it into one great party that is one of the best ever. I enjoy the candy, but now have to limit my in take because I'm trying to take better care of my teeth; but I'm very fascinated by witchcraft and the paranormal personally, so to me, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year.

When I did trick-or-treating my favorite aspect was all the FREE candy. How could you possibly beat free sweets? XD

When I went to college I stopped trick-or-treating because 1) my school was in the middle of a ghetto (classic art school) and 2) I didn't have a car or (when I did) didn't have the time to do so. So I just like being able to dress up and wander around campus going to all my classes in my outfit

Those Halloween festival things are so much fun XD My very first one was my junior year of college, the school did a trip to Busch Gardens Halloween Fest (or whatever it was called). My senior year they did one to Universal Studios Horror Fest. It was so much fun XD

I'm thinking of going to one thing year, but I dunno. The nearest theme park to my house is two hours away >__< At least at college, even though the parks were two to three hours off campus, they had a bus drive us there and back (since those things last until like one in the morning)

Oh my gosh, that Universal Studios Horror Fest was scary. In the laboratory section, some guy crawled out from a table and scared the poo outta me. Usually I was just like "o__o" the whole time but when he crawled out, it was terrifying. 'Cause I usually look up then down, so yeah.

Dressing up and being your dream or just being your idle. Heck, just being someone different for the night is always fun. :D Costume Parties are always the best.

Haha. I don't usually get creeped out at those things (i just think they're fun a different), but I was with a few friends who jumped at everything XD We'd go through those "haunted houses" and since we were in a line the one right behind me would be dragging my shoulders or by backpack down XD I'd jump a few times, but only because the workers would slam into wall loudly or make otherwise sharp noises that were just more startling to me than anything XP

I seriously had one of those guys on a bungy cord jump out behind me and yell in my ear. I didn't even jump, I swear, I just turned kind of slowly and looked at him with a WTH expression. He did yell in my ear after all <.<

Yeah, Halloween is a good excuse to dress like a complete weirdo, without anyone saying anything to you about it. :3

I do really like the candy, but i love dressing up the most!!! I'm a little old this year, but i'm still dressing up. I'm going to be a dead bride.:boogie:

i dont know if im going trick or treating this year, it depends on whether or not the halloween dance is on halloween or not.

im hoping the dance isnt on halloween so i can still get free candy, though. XD you have to pay for the food there, unfortunately.

i love the candy. i get like half a pillow case every year. i also like the dress-up part. it is always fun to dress-up as something else.

Actually, I really just like dressing my avatars up in Halloween-ish outfits. ^_^ I'm personally too cheap/lazy to do a costume for myself. Though there are some costumes I've had in real life that have certainly made me happy beyond believe [such as my jester costume with its many bells].

and the few days after halloween grocery stores sell their big bags of candy for 50% off and stuff. I love halloween. X3

yep I love the candy the costumes and the decorations, but my most favorite thing about holloween has to be from when i was six. I went trick or treating and while i was out walking the sidewalk of a subdivision, I was treated to the sight of four high school boys, they all were tall and they all looked like jocks, dressed in drag, wigs and all.

I love that the most because, I know that there have been more highschool boys who've done that since then and that there are still more who will do that. I love it when people (especially guys) do something embarassing on purpose.

Now that I'm living with my husband in our own little apartment, Halloween is extra neat. We give candy out that we picked out ourselves to give. We decorate in our own little way.

I think my favorite part is giving candy out to little kids. So adorable! =3
