First off it's my favorite season so I have many reasons. The main reason is getting to dress up as anything you want and it being ok. I love the decorations and the candy as well as the cool crisp autumn air. I've always had a fascination with the occult and horror and it's great when TCM shows nothing but horror classics. I have yet to go to a graveyard at night on Halloween but it's on my list to do.

The candy...definitely the candy.

Being able to dress up and be as weird and not normal as you want to be.

I absolutely love everything about Halloween! It's my all-time favorite holiday. The candy, the costumes, the tricks and treats! Love it all. I'm a big fan of horror movies too. I think my ideal Halloween would be spending all day with friends watching horror movies and then going to a great, costume party with food, drinks, games and of course, a haunted house. Lol.

Haha, that was one candy I didn't really like growing up. I love chocolate, but something about the overly tacky not so chocolaty texture and flavor turned me off. They always made my jaw hurt chewing them XD

Being able to dress up crazy.^-^ Oh and getting paid to scare people. I'm working at Howl-o-Scream at Bush Gardens. It's fun making big guy scream and run away.

I'm with you, Sagitar! Dressing up is the best part of Halloween. That and seeing all the little kids in their cute costumes! ^^

I forgot to mention Caramel Apple Pops! YUUUUUM!

I sit outside and hand the kids candy now.
I just mooch candy off my little sister when she comes back from tricker treating.

The best part of Holloween is getting to dress up as something or someone else based upon fantasy or likeness and also the fact that you get to scare people silly until they pee on themselves and lose it.

The atmosphere.

On my country, we have distorsionated the vision of Halloween. For us is a time to hang out with the family, and, somehow, the beginning of the Christmas time!! Now we are going to eat "Tembleque" and go buy the turkey, 'cause Christmas is coming and we have to prepare everything and buy the gifts on "Viernes Negro". I know that this has anything to do with Halloween but we sometimes are like that...

Vanilla Tootsie Rolls (I can never find them until Halloween) and scaring people (though I can't do that anymore, since people get mad at me more now then when I was younger) :cry:

The weather honestly. I love cooler climates. I've always been very warm blooded. ^_^ well and Halloween being my fave holiday ever helps too. I also love when the leaves change, it's so beautiful this time of season!

hmmm my favorite thing about Halloween is that i get to dress up ... x) and go to lots and lots of AWESOME parties... xD i love to party ... so parties are the best part about any holliday... im not to big on candy tho.. but it is nice x)

I like Halloween cuz it mean i can be a kid again and get dressed up. this will be my last year of trick and treating for my life or till i have kids. another thing that i like abut Halloween is the different costumes i get to see! I also like the free candy we get!

Oh my goodness, Hallowe'en is quite possibly one of my favourite holidays of the year, if not the favourite.

When I was little, aside from obvious reasons of candy hunting that makes every child look forward to that holiday, I enjoyed dressing up. It was so much fun to get to go out with friends on my own, without adults, to collect little treats and laugh the whole night with Superman, ghouls, pirates and even a shoe once.

Now, the most I'll do for Hallowe'en is hand out candy whenever someone knocks. I don't like decorating the house anymore; particularly since my father cut down the tree that was in the front yard. Everything is so empty and open, that it's hard to really decorate. We used to go all out; cobwebs, nooses, skeletons, bloody limbs, tombstones, epitaphs, spiders, animated ghouls, all kinds of amazing things. We even had this skull that we could talk through. A couple times, every year, there are a handful of kids that cry and won't come near the house. Their parents will laugh (either because they find it funny, or out of embarrassment), and we'll toss the candy from afar.

This year, I want to have a get-together with my friends for a Hallowe'en party.

It's more or less the combination of dressing up, wandering around in the middle of the night and seeing a lot of people, and getting candy.
Even if I didn't get to Trick-Or-Treat, I'd like just passing out candy and seeing everyone's different get-ups.

When I get older, I can sort of picture myself dressing up, sitting in my house watching horror flicks or playing horror video games, and giving out candy. Halloween is just a fun holiday, unless you're one of those people who gets pissed when people knock on their door, like my mom. D:

My favorite part about Halloween is being able to walk through all the thick piles of pretty leaves while watching the kids in the neighbourhood go out in their adorable costumes, trick or treating. I also love that my mom gets a lot of candy to hand out, but no one hardly shows up on my side of town, so we usually just get to eat all of it...
