Oni screamed, "NO!" He grabbed Lukas as tight as his weak body would let him. He was shaking from real fear of them taking Lukas from him and locking him up again. Suddenly Oni went limp and his eyes glazed over. Like a zombie Oni got both arms and shoved Michi hard onto the ground. He went limp once again and his eyes unglazed.

Ti smiled as she giggled at him, but made unhappy noises as he was pulled down onto the bed and his face was buried in the pillow. He rolled onto his side, his head spinning a bit, it was a good feeling, kind of like being drunk, but better. He closed his eyes and put and arm over her, welcoming her warmth.

Dante stopped, staring at the dragon man for a long time before growling and yanking his cellphone from his pocket. No, he wasn't going to go through with this anymore! It if was this easy for this secret to be found out, the it was only a matter of days before they knew everything!

He hopped off the bar stool and headed out the front door. It was then, though, that the 'clack' of heals reappeared. He panicked and rushed himself, but his tiny legs couldn't bring him far enough fast enough. Violetta caught up quickly, catching Dante by the wrist. "Faaavio." She cooed, twirling the boy around and holding him still. "You were going to call him again, weren't you? You're really putting stress on him everytime you do. You'll lose your job if you keep it up!"

"O-Oi!" Dante yanke at his arm nervously, staring straight into his sister's eyes. "Viola... leave me alone already." He said a few things in Italian to her quietly before wrneching his wrist free. She got away with his cellphone, though. She pocketed it before grabbing Dante without any warning.

Dante squirmed and writhed, trying to from himself, but she just took a seat back at the bar, her arms wrapped tight around the boy to hold him down. "So? Introduce me!" She chimed to the boy before looking to the dragon man with kind, gentile eyes. "It's very nice to meet your acquaintance. I'm the sister of the family, Violetta." She held a hand out to the man, palm down, as if expecting something more such as a kiss. Well, she got kisses on the back of he hand a lot in the Mafia...

Arina smiled and snuggled herself closer to him. "I like it here with you." She said blushing and kissing his cheek "It makes me feel happy." She said softly making herself comfortable.

Seeing him turn zombish Rain flicked her wrist and sent the door closing and locking. Her energy surging around her and lifting her hair. She couldn’t let herself grow angry but…. “Xanic or whoever you are hurting him, you will not be allowed to continue. Oni won’t be used like that.” She shouted, her hand filled with pain as she’d flung it to the side but she didn’t care. "Wake up Oni, don't let them use your fear..." she said with a bite of her lip.

Michaela

Michi fell to the ground. She started crying. Oni didnt want her anymore? She knew this couldnt last forever...it was beginning..
"I..I..."
She wiped her eyes and ran out crying she went through anything in her way her eyes were blurry, she didnt knwo where she was going. She fazed through Brendan in the kitchen and then through mini Dante as she ran outside
"No one wants Michi!"
She ran off as far as her little legs could take her, collapsing on the ground and curling up. She hoped no one would find her, if anyone did they would just turn her away like everyone else..
"Michi shouldnt be here..."
Slowly she started to dissapear, turning invisible. She cried, thats all she could do.

Lukas tried to grab at the boy when he pushed michi and hold him close to himself "Oni, no one is going to take you away..." he tried and then heard rain. Someone was hurting him?... And it could be Xanic? why would he do that to his brother? What was wrong with that kid?

((Tal can't cook, he has no clue how to work anything in the kitchen! Dragon who never had contact with the world until recently, and he found the inn before anything too bad happened or he learned how to work things. We'd be just as endangered!))

Talianda watched the exchange between the two, then blinked when the woman asked to be introduced and held out her hand. "Uh, I'm Talianda, and this here is Janu," he said, opening his wing to show her. He looked at her hand, then bowed at the waist, eyes never leaving her.

Pre'acha'n found a pot he thought was big enough, filling it with water and putting it on the stove. He turned the stove on, fiddling around with it until he got the right burner on.

Oni blinked and freaked out at feeling all the different feeling around the room. Michi was now gone and Rain looked pissed. Lukas was holding him tight telling him no one was going to take him away. What had happened? He clung to Lukas and said quietly," What's going on? I'm scared."

Ti smiled a bit as she snuggled up to him. In his mind there was a part of him screaming to get out while you can. That this will only end in tragedy.... He shut that part of his brain up. For now at least. He ran a hand through her long hair, admiring the silky gold locks. He sighed a bit as he became restless. 'Of course, the one time I get to actually relax and my brain acts up.'

Ebony the kitten knew Rain and Lucas would handle Oni’s end so that left Michi. The cat ran out to where she was, hopping up and down right in front of her and flapping her wings. She couldn’t see her but like all cats she didn’t have to see her. She’d have cuddled her but she’d turned intangible. She jumped up and down, shaking her head no as if saying not to run.

Rain walked to Oni, dropping her arm as she saw him return. She ignored the throbbing in her hand, looking to Oni. She had to tell him part of the truth. “Something… Something is making you do things Oni….It made you push Michi away and get scared. You have to fight it Oni…You have to be strong for us… we can’t lose you….you’re… you’re family.” She said quietly, sweeter then anyone had seen her in years, genuine fear of loosing him in her voice.



Janu shrank a little bit nervously as the wing exposed her to the beautiful woman. Without memory she wasn’t so sure why her being different was something to make humans dangerous but she did know it did. She waved slightly, lowering her head to cover her face with her raven hair a moment. “Hi…” she said quietly..

Arina looked up to him as he sighed "what's wrong?" she asked tracing her finger along his arm. She liked the feeling of his hand combing through her hair, it soothed her and the cold of his skin. She would have been purring if she had been born a cat. Though the sigh made her keep from simply falling asleep there.

Michaela

Michi couldnt stop crying, she was shaking, it was so cold outside, all she was wearing was the big shirt Arina had given her. She curled up, hiding in the shirt as she shivered. Seeing the Kitten she squirmed away from it.
"Kitty doesnt want Michi..."
She sniffled to herself, and kept crying.
"No one wants Michi..."

Oni listened to Rain but it was confusing. He said softly, "Someone is making me do bad things?" He thought this over and was horrified. . .what if he had done something really bad? What if this same person had hurt Xanic and that's why he couldn't come out? Then something else hit him. His eyes wide he said, " I pushed Michi. . is she okay? I didn't hurt her did I?" How was he suppose to fight? He didn't even know what or who he was suppose to be fighting against. He had never been a fighter and was at a loss.

To make matters worse his empathy was not under good control. He felt their worry like a great weight. He leaned against Lukas and said quietly, "Can I just take a bath. I . . I can't understand anything right now."

"Ah..." Violetta would have concentrated more on the introductions if a crying little girl hadn't rushed by like a spirit. She released Dante, her expression falling deeply. "Oh dear..." She let Dante down, the boy obviously relieved as he quickly moved away from the wretched fem. "Excuse me. I feel terrible, but I can't stand to see a crying child." She bowed her head to the two of them before hurrying off out the front doors towards the girl.

It took a bit to find her, of course. She hurried to the girl's side, her heart aching at the site. "Oh dear, your name was Michi, wasn't it? Are you alright?"

The kitty nodded as she spoke of wanting, as if to say she did want her. The kitten followed a moment, staying with her and looking at her with sad eyes. It couldn’t show itself till Rain truly remembered… the tragedy that left her in the street. It could do nothing but try, even though the girl crying seemed to make it want to cry.

Lukas nodded. "Alright, a bath will help...It's a nice way to clear your mind." He said and picked oni up.

Michaela

She shyed away from the lady
"Leave Michi..."
She pulled the kitten close, she felt connected to it..like it wanted to speak to her, as she took it into her arms the memories of the kitten flooded into her.
"R...Rain?"
she looked at the kitten as if looking for answers. the kitten nodded at her and she looked up at the lady, becoming visible and looking a complete mess.
"Wheres Rain..? Michi needs Rain.."

“No, she wasn’t hurt, just her feelings. You haven’t hurt anyone as much as yourself, it’s okay. We’re making sure you don’t actually hurt anything okay. Just relax… and why don’t you take a bath? Lucas and I will wait for you on the other side of the door okay?” Rain said with a small smile, touching his shoulder lovingly. Inwardly she thought she’d remove everything that could cut him and coat the mirror so it wouldn’t break….As lucas picked him up she went forward to make the bathroom safe....

Talianda nodded to the woman, letting her go past again. As soon as she was out of the building, he turned back to Dante. "You confuse me. You said your name was Favio, but you smell like a full grown man named Dante..." He tried thinking it out. "Either you call yourself that when something happenes, and you really are Dante, or my nose is broken."


Pre'acha'n waited nevously for the water to boil, pouring the noodles in when it finally did. When... What the hell? He watched Michi run through him, staring after her as she ran out. "Uh..." He stopped paying attention to the noodles and walked to the door. "Michi?"

The kitten nodded as she said the name rain, purring softly. It then nuzzled her, pushing close. It seemed to want to say that Rain and the kitten wanted Michi around. It didn’t know what else to do… so it glanced at the Italian woman and gave a ‘help me look’



Janu glanced at Tal, saying quietly "He smells like Dante to me too... what does it mean? I'm so confused...." She sighed, closing her eyes and flickering down her ears in annnoyed fashion. Maybe if she could remember something...

He hung onto Lukas as he picked him up. He laid his head on Lukas. Rain still wanted Lukas to leave him alone but his need for a warm bath was about as close to his need for Lukas. He was to weak physically, emotionally and mentally to fight with anyone. Let them decide what was suppose to be done with him. He closed his eyes and just took in Lukas' warmth not wanting to leave his arms. Quietly he responded to her, "Okay."

Violetta shook her head, reaching over carefully. She stroked the girl's hair softly, her eyes growing solemn as a sweet smile graced her lips. "I don't want to leave Michi. Michi is crying. If Michi keeps crying, her eyes will puff up and she'll look funny." Violetta hummed, "I really hate seeing Michi like this. It makes my heart hurt a lot to see her cry. It makes me feel as if I have to do everything in order to protect Michi, because I love Michi!" Violetta didn't lie. She loved all children. Even Dante with his terrible attitude.
