The cat became shadow, a form where it did not require breath. It frowned, glancing at Janu when it’s form made it feel discomfort as Pre'acha'n pulled at the shadow with the light spell. He growled, sinking into the shadow from under the wind and rising from the raven’s own shadow to become solid once more and slash out at the raven’s back. The feline was annoyed with his interference…”I am not here for you….” it growled.



Janu watched, relaxing a little as she saw the cat disappear, stepping forward and feeling helpless. Her friends…..It wouldn’t… It couldn’t hurt her friends. “Stop it!” She yelled, the shadows turning on the cat and becoming hers. She didn’t care if the shadows were bad, if it would protect that was all that mattered.

((wheee it can no longer use the shadows XD. Janu got upset XD))

Dante looked back at Oni as he suddenly changed. His expression grew serious for a moment from the sudden comment, but quickly reverted to the innocent, nervous child. Oni was back, the same as before, acting as like his own normal self. "Nothing." He said back. His guard was back on full, yet, this was a chance he'd rarely get. He was alone with Oni- maybe he could get Xanic out long eough to talk to him one on one, rather than talking to his ditsy brother. "Does Oni have a brother? I bet he's cool. I don't have one." Dante started innocently. He stretched his legs out, playing with his feet as he pouted his lips a bit.

Talianda's jaw clicked shut over air when the shadow cat dissolved itself. He growled turning just in time to see it shash Pre'acha'n.

Pre'acha'n screamed when the cat's swipe hit home, breaking his concentration and the spell. He fell off the banister, grabbing on with one hand just in time to stop his fall. He gasped, blood running down his back. Gotta shift, gotta shift.... He let go, dropping through the air and shifting at the same time. It wasn't into his usual form, though. He landed on the ground in his were-form, a mix of raven and human. The mark on his back, though still visible, had healed slightly with the shift. "I hat this form," he said, voice sounding odd, almost nasal. "And that hurt..."

Oni smiled at the boy and ruffled his hair. He was happy nothing bad had happened. Oni was excited by the boys interestin in his brother. Happily Oni said, "Oh yes I have a brother. His name is Xanic. He is really brave and smart too. I'm lucky to have such a great brother. Don't worry Tir Oni will be your brother now so you can have one too." He hugged the boy and was so happy. Yes he would have another brother now!

((I wish Oni was recording all this. . .blackmail Dante later :P ))

The cat smiled, licking the blood off it’s dagger seeming happy that it finally got a fight. It’ had intended a grab and run but this would work too… He smiled faintly and reached to join the shadows and go back downstairs only to find it can’t. “What… but she’s weak!” It growled, fighting with Janu for control.



Janu ran over to Pre'acha'n, touching his back. “Are you okay?” She asked quietly, the shadows seeming to visibly shake from her worry. There were tears in her eyes slightly, her head tilting forward. She then glanced at the shadow cat with sheer fury. She wouldn’t let it have control….

Dante bit his lip at Oni chimed his proud speech about his brother. What a brother, huh? Well, Dante didn't want a brother. A sister was hellish enough. "Mmh! Can I meet Oni's brother someday? I wanna play a game with him!" He shifted and fidgeted, fixing the way he was sitting before grinning up at Oni. Now he just had to wait. Either Xanic would come out now, or, intimidated, he'd wait until Dante would be caught of guard. There was no reason to be cautious around a 'kid', though.

Oni frowned a bit but then put a smile back on his face. "You will meet him sometime but he had to go away for a while and I don't know when he will be back. Oni is lonely to without brother but I can play with Tir," he said to the boy feeling bad. Oni thought about it and realized maybe it was a good think Xanic wasn't out. He never really liked kids or people and especially didn't want to hug one.

"Yeah," he half gasped. "I'll need a new shirt later, though." He stepped back, almost to the kitchen. Push through it... I can feel her energy in all the shadows now... What else can I do? He started chanting in norse again, calling up a fireball. It started off really small, in between his clawed hands.

Talianda growled, realizing Janu had control of the shadows. "Just keep him from using them, Janu. I'll tear him to pieces," he snarled, spitting blood out of his mouth. H leaped up, using his wings to guide him, and crashed into the shadowcat, trying to bite or claw anything he could.

Dante frowned at the response before sighing and looking away. Damned... Xanic wouldn't talk, huh? So, he'd continue trying to kill his brother. Didn't he understand what he was doing? All he was doing was making people pitty Oni and give them more attention. Was that really what Xanic wanted? It wasn't even a crime anymore. It was just fucking childish and annoying. He closed his eyes and leaned against Oni again, relaxing a bit. Things were still noisy downstairs. Was Oni still scared? It seemed normal and pretty annoying. It didn't even sound like a good fight. Of course, Dante's version of a good fight was two sweaty, bruised, and beaten men punching the shit out of each other...

Oni wondered if things were any better. He decided to take a chance. Opening the door a fraction he yelled out, "Is it okay to come back down now!" He really hoped it was. He was getting some confusing feelings from Tir and was positive the boy really didn't want to stay around him.

((He should be able to tell by Tal's emotions right now, and Janu's! Both are enraged, and Tal's kinda bloodthirsty))

( Dante can't see anything. He just hears things. Any chants or unnecessary talking and he starts hating the fight. Magic is just a cheap shot. Other than that, he doesn't know what the Hell is going on. xD )

"It's not." Dante answered for him. "You can go down if you want, but you might get hurt." He looked up to the boy before wrapping his arms around one of the boy's arms. Maybe that would help him calm down? He seemed antsy at least. Oni seemed to like hugs, right? Well, Dante had never been hugged so much before, in fact, when he had been hugged it was only by his sister. Those didn't turn out to well, now did they?
