Talianda froze, the suddenness of it surprising him. He quickly pulled her into it, holding and kissing her back. He wanted more, but was unsure of how she would take it. Her lips were soft, softer than he would have thought, and a low growl, almost a whimper rose from his chest to his throat. He had wanted this, and hadn't let himself realize it.

Janu shivered, surprised at the sudden hold and suggestion of passion in his movements. She gripped close to him, using the sheer power of the moment to push back the other memory. No… She’d rather give her heart to another then remember enough that a certain vampire would get it back. She wouldn’t let herself love him but only Tal……this was her second chance, and she wasn’t about to let it go. The growl made her nearly whimper and hold his waist tightly but she didn’t let go…no… this time she would never let go.
