Oni didn't understand what Brenden was talking about but he didn't want to seem rude or stupid so he listened. The last question though sparked a memory and he said excitedly, now that he knew something, "Oh I know about werewolves! I saw this one movie on TV when we were at a hotel. They are like people then they get big and scary and eat people!" He was so happy he got this one right. He smiled at Brenden looking for approval.

Emeriya saw the new man leave and sighed, letting all the anger spill out of her. Her aim of anger had ruined his dinner.
"I guess i should apologize...his first day here and an angry vampire makes a scene...how typical.."
Rummaging through the fridge she got the last of the chopmeat and put it on a plate, following the man, hoping it could be ok.

Pre'acha'n laughed. "Yeah, some of them are like that. But there are other kinds, too. Some don't have to change during a full moon, some don't have a half-animal form, only a full animal, and some can change into the halfway form or full animal form whenever they want." He shifted, reaching for a bar of soap. "Not all of them are wolves, either. There are foxes, coyotes, lions, bears, tigers, hyenas, ravens, I met a bat once, and more. I would bet that every major predator has a were to go with it."

Rin woke up and looking into his newly place mirror quietly dressed and picked up his book. He looked into it quickly and mouthed a small prayer. Looking into his reflection he spoke. "No rest for the wicked eh?" He grabbed his repaired mask and walked out of his room and downstairs. "I'm ready when you are Rain." He said softly. He had put himself into a zone. This was a job and he had to take it seriouslly.

Oni scratched his head and said, "So there are people who can turn into other animals than werewolves. There are. . ." he had to think for the word, "Werebears, werelions and such." Oni was glad he had gotten things right so far. Oni pokes a bubble with his toe. He still hadn't washed but he really didn't care. The warm water was all that mattered.

"i turned 20 on halloween..."
She looked down at the plate.
"I'll stop aging physically soon though..."

((Kage knew about the kiss. He cheered Tal on, 'member? Um... we're apparently about to rip Xanic out of Oni and give him a new body-thing, But I still don't know what we're putting him in...))

"Yup. Now can you figure out my earlier comment, about it being a 'raven thing'?" he asked, doing his best to wash himself with Oni right there. "I'm pretty sure you've seen me, I just haven't shifted in front of you."

Oni thought about what Brenden had said for a while till it finally dawned on him. He pointed to Brenden and said, "You are a WereRaven! . . .You don't eat people do you?" He went from feeling pride and then worry. After all he was alone with a were creature.

Rin being slightly ignored blew the fact off. "I will be right back." He was going to show enough consideration for her wishes about the cigarettes. He walked outside and pulled one out. It might just be his last and lit it taking a drag off it and exahling watching the smoke fly into the night sky. "Well I guess if I have to go it should be using my talents not old age." He muttered as he finished off the death stick and looking down at his mask. The whole reason he had it was so if he died no one would see his face until after he had passed on. He said another silent prayer and placed the mask onto his face walking back inside.

Rain nodded at Rin slightly, running a hand through her hair a moment and letting the ivory and sapphire strands fall over her shoulder. “I’m ready…. Oni’s upstairs having a bath though….” she said softly, glancing up. She shook her head a bit, hoping this was the right thing. She watched rin step out then sighed, saying to no one in particuliar “I’ll go get them….” Rain then ran up the steps and paused at the door to the bath, knocking on it. “Hey Oni, time to come out…” she said softly.

Oni smiled at Brenden,"Okay I trust you." He was about to ask him a question when Rain knocked on the door and said bath time was over. He called out, " Okay but can you bring me some clean clothes please. My other ones are dirty." He looked at Brenden and asked, "Um do you think you could help me out again? I'm still kind of wobbly."

"1-something. Time is relative."

He sighed.

"Yeah.... I'll be back."

[going to bed, 37 minutes late.]

Rin stood there his faceless mask on looking through his book. He had written onto the blank pages within using his mind every possible spell he had ever learned. He had about every spell he needed for this job, but there was one looming on the back page at the very bottom he hoped he had to never use. It would most likely kill him and everyone else near him if he used it.

Emeriya sighed.
"Im headed to bed..."
She glanced to the kitchen.
"Too much excitement for one day..."
She smirked to herself.
"I'll leave a room key on the counter for you...and ill leave this in the fridge."
She turned to return to the kitchen, and said over her shoulder;
"Goodnight.."
Striding back to the kitchen she placed the raw meat back in the firdge. Grabbing a key to an empty room she placed it on the counter. She wandered upstairs, and opened her door closing it gently behind her and dressing for bed. Sliding into bed she curled up, the screams of her past victims still a low rumble in her mind...

“Sure Oni….” She said quietly, using her characteristic magic to bring the clothing to her. Rain didn’t want to risk walking away…she wouldn’t give Xanic the ability to interfer…. With a shake of her head she cracked open the door and sat the clothing inside on the sink before closing the door again. She then leaned against the wall….waiting.
