You’re better at fashion then I am Oni, those were all really good choices.” Rain responded lightly, leaning back a little bit as she let herself relax. She glanced over at Dante, noting he looked tired. She couldn’t help but smile to herself, thinking he probably got just as little sleep as she had. Was it with a similarly pleasurable reason though?

She hid her thought then, looking back towards Oni. She smiled again at him, beginning to relax. She could remember now what it was like, simply sitting in a family…. And she loved it. It was a bitter sweet feeling…but mainly sweet.

Well, there they were. The childish colors and styles. Dante watched through the entire show, keeping a smile on, though inwardly dying a bit. He was hating all of this. It was far too boring. His eyes dragging over to Rain was Oni changed for the last time. His head leaned back against the wall as a dominance grew in him suddenly. He was stronger than her; she was nothing. Yet, she had those deadly curves...

His eyes only broke away as Oni came out for the last time. "Mmh. Everything looks fine. I think you'll look just fine beside Lukas." He smiled kindly to the boy, completely losing whatever he'd been feeling just a moment ago.

Oni smiled at them both with a look of relief. "Thank you guys. I was a little worried but now I feel a lot better," he said. Since everyone seemed so happy today Oni went and gave Dante a hug and then Rain one saying, "I have the best friends. I'm glad I came here."

(( O.O Dante will suffer eternal suffering for tossing away the Oni voodoo doll of powah! ))

Rain felt a moment of uncertainty and half shivered, a memory sparked though she was conscious of why. Having to sit there…feeling a certain brunette wizard hovering over her shoulder as he forced her to write a letter praising her ‘husband’. Her family’s safety causing her to obey without question even as her stomach turned and feeling him read over it with a possessive hand on her shoulder…squeezing it till his nails cut into her skin whenever she wrote something ‘not good enough‘. Never satisfied, not until everything was given to him and a person had nothing left…his lust for control insatiable….

Hearing Dante speak to Oni she snapped out of it, biting her lip and shaking her head. She forced the memory away, telling herself it was for the nightmare. It was over, she was with Oni, and Dante who was so much like her… She was safe. Lily had left her with a new family and this time….this time she’d protect it. Managing to settle herself she returned Oni’s hug tightly with a soft smile on her lips, whispering with genuine emotion “I’m glad you came here too….”

Dante blinked as he was hugged, before grinning to the kid. "Hey, hey. You're giving me too much credit! Don't make me blush!" He chuckled and watching Oni rush off to Rain next. He scratched the back of his head, then looked out the door. He just wanted to curl up and fell asleep. He heard Rain's comment, but hardly took it to heart. How weak. She was always weak.

Oni giggled at what Dante said. Oni looked at them both saying, "Are you guys hungry? Maybe we could make something to eat? You guys haven't eaten yet right? Once I learn to cook then I can make all kinds of things for everybody." Oni was excited and happy and wanted to spend the rest of the day with his friends.

(( Lukas and Oni had a date, buying clothes and lunch, Dante and Rain just woke up, Oni tried on all his clothes to show them what he bought))

I haven’t eaten yet.” Rain said lightly, actually kind of hungry now that he mentioned it. She felt a moment of discomfort, touching her shoulder where the scars of the warlock’s nails were hidden among the other scars. She shook it off, however, and simply looked to the excited Oni with a warm grin. “what do you want to eat Oni?” She said removing her emotions as best she could and simply enjoying Oni’s happiness and energy as if it was her own. He was just like Harry…..always so happy…she loved it.

"Oni, I'm sorry, but I need more sleeping." He stretched his achy limbs as he stiffled a yawn. "I'll come down if I wake up again. Alright?" He waved and grinned lightly to the boy boy before giving Rain one last long hard look before leaving. She was comfortable at times until she became... different. He was noticing it more and more and time went on. What the Hell was wrong with him?

He opened his room door and looked to his bed before sighing and pulling his shirt off.He didn't care if the vampire was here for another night. He needed more sleep. He reached thee foot of the bed and crawled up it, all the way up to his original spot. With that he eased himself to lay down beside the other man and relax. Hopefully sleep would take him soon...

Gabriel

Gabriel's eyes opend and he looked at the man laying next to him.
"Hello you..."
He wrapped an arm around him and pulled him close. Letting his lips glide up the mans neck.
"You slept well i assume."

"Okay Dante you go sleep," Oni said to his large friend. Oni grabbed Rain's hand and pulled her toward the kitchen saying while they walked, " Oni will make Rain something good but I might need some help. I ate with Lukas but beef sounds good. I like beef. I ate crepes today for the first time and they were good. Lukas said you can eat them with veggies but doesn't that sound gross?"

"Ah..." Dante heard the vampire's voice. Right as he'd gone to look at the other he'd been pulled in. The lips tickling his neck was just too much! He released a soft whimpered sigh before relaxing completely and laying his head down against the vampire. "I would wish..." He muttered softly. "Let me sleep a bit more..." He breathed deep, taking in the intoxicating scent of the man before wrapping a lazy arm around him. Just holding this man seemed to tired him out.

Gabriel

Gabriel nodded and kissed Dante's forehead.
"Sleep well..."
He kept holding him close, letting his fingertips glide up and down Dante's back, soothing him to sleep.

Rain was still smiling at Oni when she felt the look, causing her to look at Dante and raise an eyebrow. Outwardly she looked calm and collected as always but in her eyes was the lingering flicker of past fear and it took all she had not to shiver and just keep smiling. How… How did she keep swearing she was seeing HIS eyes….the man who took everything…..even victory from his death by that damn spell that caused her family to die with him. The only person who had ever really scared her…the only one to ever be able to make her actually tremble in fear….simply because she couldn’t fight without giving her family to god knows what torture he could come up with….No this was dante….

Rain shook her head to clear it as she felt Oni’s hand on hers. She clung to it like a life line for a moment as she took a moment to gather herself. Part of her wanted to run to Emeriya but she focused on Oni and let his cheerful chattering drive out the cold chill that her memories had pushed on her bones. She laughed slightly as he spoke, though the sound was slightly shaky. “I like anything” She said with a shrug, thinking amusedly that she’d likely have to do more then help. She didn’t midn though, focusing on Oni and food was clearing her head.

Dante pulled himself closer to the other before pressed his forehead lightly against the other's chest. He was acting cute- he never acted cute. It seemed it worked on this vampire, though. For some reason the man seemed rather caring for a piece of 'fine ass'. He breathed deep once more, becoming limp as his back was rubbed. It was... really, really nice...


Within moments he was out cold, sleeping off whatever was left of his exhaustion.

Once they got to the kitchen Oni tried to think of what Rain might want but didn't really know what she liked. He asked, "But what kinds of food does Rain like? I know what I like but what if you don't like the same thing?" He really wanted to do something for her. He got spoiled already today and he figured it was his turn to spoil someone else.

Rain shrugged, saying truthfully “Honestly there isn’t a food I don’t like.” She had developed a very….varied palate simply due to not having much consistency in the past five years. She leaned on one arm, glancing at the stove as she let the counter support her weight. Giving Oni a smile she began to relax, deciding she’d just let her dream make her paranoid. It had been a long time since she’d had to remember….HIM….so that was all it was…that was all….

"Okay, does steak sound good? It sounds good to me. Could you help me cook it? Oh wait should we have something else with it?" Oni asked knowing that most meals you just didn't eat meat. Oni could feel good feelings coming from Rain and was happy she seemed happy. Today had been a good day.

((I put two fridges in the kitchen and also a freeze just for meat, mawhahaha))

We probably should have something with it” Rain said with a laugh, ruffling his hair. “I do like a good steak though.” She mused with a smile, opening the refrigerator to peer in for something good. She smiled to herself, finally relaxing a moment. She found some salad fixings and nodded to herself, taking it out as she sat it on the table. She teased him lightly, “So that Dante won’t yell at us for an imbalanced meal” while chuckling softly.

Oni giggled at what she said and replied, "Yeah he sure won't let me get away with anything either. I have some sweets with Lukas so he said I can't have anymore today." He gave a slight frown saying, "My hurts a little and seems more tired than normal with out all the sugar. He said though not to go looking for symptoms. It's hard though cause he wants to make me healthy but I think my body needs it." Oni was a little torn on the subject still but really wanted to please his friend. He smiled at Rain saying, "Guess I just have to try it longer and see huh."

( *Nuzzles everyone.* I can't sleep. What should I do? TwT )
