Sounds good to me… “ Janu said with a shrug, her ears flickering slightly. She always felt a strange combination in the shadows… a fear, but an excitement, a power….the feline shook off the feeling, reaching forward to playfully ruffle his hair. “I’ve never been down there.” She admitted then, curious herself really. She knew back home that their basement had been dark and spooky…was this the same?

((not much happened since last night. Oni talked to dante, him and Janu just ate and r going to explore the basement. . .maps r up now ^-^ hope u guys like them. Have bird boy wake up and he can come with us >.< ))

He let out a playful laugh at the hair ruffling and smiled. "I think it will be fun. Something like a mini adventure." He put his plate in the dishwasher then made his way back to the fridge. He stuffed some packs of string cheese in his pocket and turned to Janu saying, "You ready?"

((Well, let's see where you here when Dante got crude and everybody wanted to punish him? lol))

((Explore the basement? cool))

Pre'acha'n cawed down at Oni and Janu, flapping down to land on the counter. He hopped around a bit, still cawing before tryint to land on Oni's head. Take me with!

At first Oni was going to freak out. How had such a big bird get inside? He then recalled Brenden saying that he could turn into a bird. "Ow," Oni let out as the thing tried to land on his head. "Brenden that hurts couldn't you sit on my shoulder or something?" he asked his friend.

Yeah, I’m ready..” She said with a soft smile, popping the last grape in her mouth as she started for the door. Seeing the raven she waved slightly with a blush, greeting the new comer. As Oni spoke, however, she couldn’t help but giggle, finding it kinda cute. It was nice to see someone just getting along…there was to much conflict of late…

Pre'acha'n gave an amused squawk and landed on Oni's soulder, settling down and carefully not hurting him with his claws. He stared at Oni with one green eye, joy and trickery apparent even in avian form. He flipped his wings, holding his head up and seeming to smile.

((My comp just died and was ressurected, it's now the messiah comp))

Once Brenden was settled on his shoulder Oni smiled saying, "There that's better." He then turned to Janu and said, "Okay let go!" With a smile Oni led the way slowly down the stairs. He had to admit it was much brighter than he thought it would be.

(( oooh impressive. . .mine died and stayed dead. . .hence the stol . .the borrowed computer))

((I'm just epic enough to get it working again right away... it was even the microsoft blue screen of death)

Ti woke with a pounding headache and blurry vision. 'Ei kuso...' He sat up slowly, a hand to his forehead. Dalcha moved from where she was laying to lick his face and whine at him. He groaned a bit and flopped back over, Dalcha crawling to put her paws on his chest and lick him more. "Fine, I'm up." He muttered as she wagged her tail. He moved slowly, his whole body ached and his aura was weak. 'I should have controlled myself better.... I feel so drained' He sighed and bent to grab his pile of clothes, remembering that Arina was doing laundry. He tossed them down the chute in the hall and made his way down to the bar, Dlacha at his side.

Rain left Dante before he answered her, not wanting to hear what he had to say. She’d warned him… what more could she say? She didn’t want to talk about this…didn’t want to tell him anything more. She hadn’t yet gone to get her coffee so wasn’t up to it.

As she walked into the kitchen she waved at Ti but said nothing, simply getting her beloved coffee and leaning back against the doorjam to the kitchen. She murmured softly “You have as bad a temper as me….maybe worse” while taking the first pleasurable sip of her coffee.


Janu nodded and followed quietly, her hands going to hide behind her back. She let herself drift in thought not feeling so much shadow here as had been at home. It was fun to spend time with people so she saw no reason to think too hard on it. She really did like Oni, though she’d just met the raven. He hadn’t talked to her much really… though he did peak her curiosity. He reminded her of someone…though she couldn’t put her finger on why.

Pre'acha'n cawed softly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. The only time he'd been down here was when he needed to wash his clothes. He had no clue what else there could be.

Oni's eyes light up when he saw games. He wasn't sure how to play them but he just knew they were games. "Look you guys games! Do you what they are called? Should we play? . . .wait we should finish exploring huh?" he said in a burst. He wanted to play but there were more doors to look into. There was the laundry section which seemed boring.

Ti grunted at rain as he made his way around the bar and grabbed his bottle of rum. After practically chugging a bunch, he took a deep breath and sighed. "Better already...." He went to his spot and sat before turning to Rain to talk. "I haven't had that much trouble with my temper in decades. That Mage just... He reminds me of someone I should have killed." He took a swig of rum and sighed again. "I have a few questions for you, Rain." He said as he leaned back against the wall.

Pre'acha'n gave a loud happy caw, flying over to the stack of boardbames. He pecked at one in the middle, Risk. He cawed again, flapping up and trying to grasp the box with his claws, but it was too heavy for him to pull out.

“I thought you might….” Rain replied with a sigh, taking a large drink of her coffee as she tried to calm herself. She didn’t want to dwell on the past….but she knew it was likely necessary. He…Dante’s eyes had looked just like the old evil and she was starting to think that it was no coincidence. She stepped forward to sit near Ti, her eyes closing in thought.



Janu smiled as she saw the games, reaching forward to touch one absently. She never had much experience with board games, though it looked fun. Being an only child and having had the kids in the village avoid her she simply didn’t know much about it. Seeing the raven pull at Risk Janu reached over and pulled it out for him, looking at him and tilting her head to the side.

((lol he was referring to ping pong and air hockey but board games work too >.< Oni's easy to please - sorry i was eating )

"Maybe we should ask the others later on. I bet they would know how to play," he said happily. So far he was having fun hanging out with Brenden and Janu. He looked at Brenden and Janu saying, "Janu can you hold on to that one? I think Brenden wants to play it when we go up stairs."

Ti saw the look on her face and knew it too well. He took another swig of rum before starting. "I know you can see it too, the is a shadow over Dante. I saw the way you reacted, you know more and I'm sorry but I need to know. I won't let a wraith into this place, this has become home for more loners than just us, this is a haven and we can't let it be destroyed. " He looked to her face, the calm was forced, he knew that too well also. He sighed and stared into the amber liquid before him. " I'm sorry to make you focus on past pains, but this has to be done." He said, a heaviness to his voice.

Pre'acha'n hopped up and down when Oni mentioned playing Risk. YES! I'll teach anyone who wants to know! I love that game! He made a sort of happy gurgle, flying up to land of Oni's shoulder again. He bounced a bit in place, utterly happy that he was here.
