“I guess… My mom taught me a lot before she died… She was a hell of a baker…” Rain said with a shrug, suppressing her own memories a moment. Baking was some of the rare times that her mother and her could have time just to the two of them and held some of her sweetest memories… but she never could cook or bake for only one person…just felt wrong. She then turned to Oni and gave him a smile…it kinda felt good to have someone asking for her sweets again…


She stood there, observing silently but mainly studying the ground now. She hated to be alone but was never sure what to do around company. So she simply stood, her eyes closed and her ears twitching to follow the noises in the room. She glanced at Cat as she entered and nodded at her in greeting, however, feeling a slight happiness yet sadness too as she saw her half sister. Tacos? She had honestly never had those…then again she never had much of any food. “Perhaps I will try those..” she half whispered to herself.

As arina spoke she glanced up at the now familiar lady. She bowed her head slightly in greeting and answered softly. “He is a friend of Ti’s…” She said quietly, growing silent. She had noticed there was something between Ti and arina…


The cat whined next to the cookie jar a moment, standing and rubbing against Cat’s ankles before mewing softly. It was not one to easily give up when it came to sweets… it was the one thing that even Amoni could not get its attention from. It didn’t know why it craved them soo…it didn’t need them….but it just tasted and felt soo good!

Gabriel

Gabe smiled and chucckled again.
"I guess not."
He leaned and kissed Dante's forehead, breathing in his scent. Resting his head on Dantes he absent mindedly kept stroking Dante's hair, he closed his eyes, listening to Dante's heartbeat.

Oni's eyes filled with glee when Rain said she could make other things. "I can't wait to try the other stuff yo. . " He stopped mid sentence and ran straight for Lukas. He hugged the man tightly and kissed him. "I missed you so much Lukas," he held on tightly.

Hito just gave his student that look that left no room for argument. Ti had lost on his own account in front of various witnesses. He sent to him mind to mind saying, "That's why I'm here Ti and I'll stay till we get you back on balance."

Lukas stumbled a little as Oni latched onto him, and kissed him back, a smile appearing instantly. "I missed you too Oni, getting back here was what made my trek home all the faster, so I could get such an enthusiastic greeting." He smiled and wrapped an arm around him, he'd spilled a little coffee on the counter when he was hugged and set the cup down grabbing a towel with his now free hand and laying it over the spill. "How've you been faring since i've been gone?"

Blush peaked to his cheeks at the sudden kiss. He looked to the other before breathing through his nostrils and relaxing. "Mmmh..." He didn't know what else to do, really. He hadn't been in very many relationships, after all. This... this was one of his firsts. Uriel was officially his first, but... Hell, that man always ditched him and yelled at him. But... he still loved that man.

"Gabriel... does my blood smell extra sweet or something...?" He muttered suddenly before looking to the other.

"Are you sure it's all cooked? besides, it's supposed to be in little bits, how else will it be taco's you dope." She said getting out a couple pots and starting to boil water for rice with some spices and other things already in it for flavoring, and getting the pot for the beans ready. She shook her head. "I swear, you can't just do it the normal way?"

Arina nodded to the interesting looking girl. "Thanks.. you want some tea? it's pilled from the gardens before the herbs died..." She offered gesturing to a seat at the bar. She gave a smile before looking over to Ti. Had he even seen her. Probably not being so focused on the mage.

"No cause you have no love for me." He said sticking out his tongue. He reached into a cabinet and pulled out a knife and started to slice and dice it up tossing it into a pan and turning the over on and doing it the boring way. "There happy dear?" He asked with a smirk on his face.

"I've been okay. How was work?," he said and kissed him again. Even though the rather scary man was here he felt fine now. He noticed what he had done and frowned a little saying, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you spill."

Gabriel

Gabriel thought for a breif moment, remembering the night he spen with Dante, feeding on him, and then some, it was some of the most invigorating blood he has had in quiet some time.
"It is quite...intoxicating.."
He smiled to himself and looked down at Dante.
"Is that alright if i think so?"

Rain smiled as he ran to Lukas, shaking her head a little in thought. He did so enjoy him…loved him… She might have found it herself now but was fairly certain she’d let it get away too. Honestly she’d never loved before so really wasn’t sure…all she knew was lust and keeping all distant to keep herself safe… She suppressed the sorrow that could bring and simply leaned back in her seat, tossing her hair a little over her shoulder and yawning before glancing at him.


“Yes miss…… I would like that very much.” A surprised Amoni said, apparently not having expected to actually be replied to or acknowledged. She was use to be ignored… but was glad not to be. She walked almost silently to the other woman’s side, her eyes downcast as she waited. She listened, as always quiet and thoughtful

"Uh... no... it's not that..." Dante muttered before looking away. "First it was Uriel, then Eme, you, er.. T-Ti..." He rubbed his face tiredly. "I was just wondering it I was on the gourmet menu or if it was all just a coincidence..." Hardly a coincidence. Ti was too preoccupied with licking the blood off of Dante's chest to see anything else. Uriel... well, they met for the first time when Uriel bit his wrist and neck. Wasn't that a nightmare. Then Eme tackled him and started sucking his blood. She never finished, of course... something freaked her out.

"Yes." was all she said and started putting in spices to the meat when it had browned and adding a little tiny bit of water so that they'd have time to brew a little. She chucked as he stuck out his tongue "That better be a promise, cause if it's a threat you know I won't think twice about cutting it off." She said smiling sweet and innocent like while stirring the contents of the two pots.

Arina poured a small ornate cup full of tea and passed it to Amoni. "So, did you like your room?" she asked politely. Her glances moved around the room in between that and settling on Amoni. She was always like that, a watcher. She took a sip of tea. "I was surprised anyone heard me, they all seem so in depth with their conversations, or emotions..." she admitted.

Ti lowered his eyes respectfully before turning to smile weakly at Arina. He hated that she always walked in on him and the Mage fighting. He sighed and moved to the corner so Arina could serve the silent woman, his eyes focusing on her for the first time. He looked her up and down politely, his eyes flashing gold briefly as he gauged her aura. He then looked to the ground and stayed silent, not wanting to have to explain to Arina about Hito quite yet.

"Work.. a pain.. It always is you know." He said and shook his head "Don't worry about it, it's just a small spill, nothing to fret about." He said throwing the now absorbed mess into the sink. He patted oni's head and smiled. "See, it's all gone now."

"Oh I guess you will just have to see if it's a threat or a promise." Rin said laughing and then when she wasn't really paying attention grabbed her and kissed her. "Been meaning to do that for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time." He said softly.

Hito stayed sitting where he was but kept his eyes on his student. He watched as he focused on the woman. She was a pretty little thing and Hito couldn't help but wonder at her taste. He knew better than to touch Ti's woman but it was always tempting. He watched Ti's 'son' as well. He was curious as to why Ti had bothered to save him. More questions for his student but for now he would give him a few seconds of peace. He grinned inwardly knowing he wouldn't keep the silence for long.

Oni snuggled Lukas so grateful to have him back. "I'm glad it didn't burn you. Sorry work wasn't so great. Will you be home all day?" he asked him eagerly.

Amoni sat and looked at the tea a moment, reaching up to remove her face veil and tuck it into the neck of her shirt. Her face was expressionless so seemed eternally flawed but showed the beauty of her siren lineage, her lips currently a faint embarrassed pink. She always felt…naked without the veil and she bent her head forward so her face was half covered by her soft blue bangs.

“Thank you Miss” She said quietly, reaching to take the ornate cup and sip it lightly. She was use to plainer cups but that did not mean she did not appreciate it’s beauty. She could feel faintly that she was being studied by Ti but said nothing, though the awareness made her energy twist from her emotion to show her discomfort. “My room…was very nice…I must thank you for that…

Lukas shook his head. "Unfortunatally not, just thought I'd come back to check on you, and get some fresh clothes out of the room." He looked down a bit. "I'm sorry, but I should be here tomorrow." he said with a smile. "I'll spend tomorrow with you?"

Gabriel

Gabe mulled it over and shrugged.
"I dont know about them, but you peaked my taste."
He smiled.

Oni tried not to frown but ended up frowning anyhow. He said quietly, "You have to leave again?" He didn't want Lukas to go especially now that the new man was here. He clung to him tightly and buried his face in his shoulder. He didn't want to be a brat though and he said,"Okay tomorrow you have to spend with me."

"Great..." Dante scoffed dryly before rubbing his neck. "Just don't put me anywhere below seventy percent..." He muttered before uneasily leaning his head against the other. He was a fan of the bite, but not so much the blood loss bit. It only made him lightheaded and dizzy. Pus, anywhere below sixty percent and you were practically dead.

Cat was caught off guard by the kiss, though she kissed him back happily. "I've been waiting for it." She said with a smile. Then had to turn her attention back to the stove. "So, you should go grab the lettucs, cheese, and such various other iteams from the fridge for me..." she said her attention back on food, she was hungry.


Arina smiled at Ti. "Lemme guess, some captn?" She asked playfully. She was happy he'd noticed she was there and when she saw him look her over she coulsn't help but ask "You like it? my mum bought it for me for the hollidays."

Rin waved his hand dismissively. "Ok sure thing boss." Rin walked into the fridge and starting picking out everything. He returned shortly with it setting it on the counter top and began to chop prepare everything. "I know I will stop distracting you because your hungry and everything." He said with a smile. Truth be told she was distracting him.
