Oni came a little further into the kitchen and said, "Does it take a long time to cook? I've never had Thanksgiving before. It smells really really good." He saw Dante and went over to him asking, "Is it okay to give you a hug?" He didn't want to make his friend uncomfortable so he thought it best to ask from now on.

"Mmh. Thanksgiving is a Holiday that celebrates when the Pilgrims colonized the-..." She stopped dead before looking up at Dante. "It is celebrated here, right? I had to look up all of these recipes..."

Dante sighed heavily before glaring at his sister. "That crappy holiday is only celebrated in America." He rolled is eyes in disbelief before looking to Oni. "Ah, sure. Go ahead. I told you I didn't mind, Oni." He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms as hee looked up at Violetta. "Nice fuck-up."

( BRB, chore. )

Oni listened to her but didn't really understand what she was saying. He went over to Dante and gave him a hug asking, "Why is it a crappy holiday? I thought holidays were good things. What do you do on Thanksgiving anyway?" He was curious about this new holiday. He had heard of Christmas but that was the only one. Did they get presents on this one too?

Dante sighed and pat the boy's head. "You sit around and stuff yourselves with Turkey. That's about it. It's celebrated in America because I bunch of Englishmen decided to defy the Queen and find somewhere else to live. They found America and used a feast to confuse the Indians and make then believe that they would be sharing the land, but the English dominated it, through the Indian's on crappy soil, and forgot about them." Dante ranted before closing his eyes and sighing. "It's a crappy excuse for a Holiday."

Oni really had no idea what Dante was talking about but it seemed he was really upset about it. He did however catch the first part of being able to stuff yourself. Oni figured it couldn't be too bad if you got to eat a lot. Oni simply replied, "Oh Okay." Since it was going to be a while before anything was done he made his way back upstairs and crawled back into bed with Lukas.

How boring. Dante hadn't seen anyone around today. Violetta was up in his room resting after having finished cooking and, obviously, thrown it all in the fridge. He had already talking to her, and well, it wasn't much of a talk. She was surprised if anything to hear that his 'affliction' had been suddenly cured. Of course, he kept the bit about the warlock in his head from her.

Now it was all just boring. He laid back on the couch and closed his eyes, waiting for... well... something that wasn't his sister.

Gabriel

Gabriel quietly opened the door to the Inn to see Dante on the couch. After shutting the door he made his way over, sitting beside him.
"How'd dinner go with the wicked step sister?."
He smiled, hoping to cheer up Dante, seeing he looked bored to all hell.

Dante blinked and looked up at Gabriel as a smile played his lips. "She's not wicked. Just annoying." He sat up and sighed. "She shows up without warning and can't learn when to and not to speak." He hesitated for a moment before looking up to Gabriel. "And how was your little walk?"

Gabriel

Gabriel sighed, and wrapped an arm around Dante.
"Lonely, and cold as fuck."
The leather of his jacket was still chilly from the windy wheather outside.

Dante jolted as the cold arm wrapped around him. He grit his teeth, then pushed the other man aside. "If you're cold, then don't touch me! It's rude!" He sighed, rubbing the chills from his arm. He really hated cold things. It sucked when he was tiny, he had no muscle to keep him warm. Touching hold things just annoyed him.

Gabriel

Gabriel shrugged out of his jacket tossing it aside and pulled Dante back to him..
"Sorry."
Though the leather jacket was cold his body was slightly warm.

"Er..." Dante looked towards Gabriel before sighing and looking away. "Right..." He stopped for a moment as he closed his eyes in thought. "My sister's going to be taking up my room tonight. I'll probably be on the floor." He didn't want to be close to a woman, after all. "It would be pretty awkward for her if you jumped in too."

Gabriel

Gabriel laughed and looked down at the boy.
"So stay in my room."
He looked into the fire that was blazing in the fireplace.
"Unless you want to be alone tonight."
