i missed somethin....

((Janu and Vuri, and technically a sleeping arina XD, got attacked by shadows ^.^ .Janu learned a new trick to get rid of them but now thinks she's a monster even more then before XD))

Arina awoke on the couch, she looked around a bit oblivious as to how she got there, the last thing she remembered was having a candy. Ah well was time to get up anyway. She fixed herself up and started a fire before going up to her room to change into a silver and black dress, much in the fashion of the one before, and changing her gold accessories to silver. She moved back out to the main room brewing a fresh pot of tea.

Janu bit her lip a moment, starting awake as she heard Arina enter. Blushing as she looked up at her, though she began to frown. Did she know about the shadows? … Did she notice the claw mark in the floor? The feline stood, walking towards the kitchen as she followed in after Arina. “M…morning” She stated with a soft smile, pretending she’d just been lured in to the tea…rather then the company.

Arina smiled to Janu, with her usual obliviousness to whatever happened while she was asleep "Good morning liebling." she stated as she grabbed two glasses pouring tea for herself and Janu. "I'm sorry for what seems to have been fainting on you last night. I must have had a fever or something, it's that season you know?" Arina apologized blushing a little.

It’s alright…” Janu whispered, taking the tea with a smile. She took a sip and sat down on a nearby chair, looking up at Arina and trying not to study her curves too close. The feline then glanced towards the living room before drinking more tea. She whispered softly, “I…had an accident. I’m sorry about the floor….” She stated gently and glanced towards Arina again. “there’s some marks…”

Arina blinked softly "I didn't even notice any, I'm sure they aren't too bad." She stated taking a sip of her tea "Lets just not have a habit of these accidents." She finished making her way to a comfortable chair.

I don’t intend to….” she whispered softly, but as she looked to the floor she couldn’t help but think inwardly that she had little choice. Janu knew she should probably tell her… but she didn’t want to. This was such an idealic peace… she didn’t want to ruin it.

Arina nodded "Well it will be fine, these floors are tougher than they look. " She mentioned leaning back against the wall. One of her hands moving absently to brush back a few loose strands of hair.

Finally Janu whispered softly, “It…might happen again. I…It wasn’t an accident.” She sighed, running a hand through her hair. “I… shadows attacked me, and they’ll be back if I stay…they always come back.” She finally confessed, letting her head dropping forward. She went silent, as if expecting Arina to throw her out…honestly…she did.

"Hmm... then we'll just have to be ready next time, put up some protection.. barriers and such." Arina said rolling her hand in a circle and then stretched letting out a small yawn. She smiled "As long as you don't intentionally spark things, I'm good, A few scratches here and there don't bother me."

Janu looked up as if startled, giving Arina a sudden hug. She then stood, walking to the wall to lean on it a moment. She sipped her tea gently, looking on the scratches upon the floor. It had been harder this time… but she also had discovered a new power… she could use the shadows more…she’d just never wanted to badly enough.

Gero walks in, and, upon seeing the marks on the floor, walks over to the marks, kneels down, and wipes his hand over it. The marks vanish where his hand passes over them. "what happened?"

"It seems that Janu had some, not so friendly visitors." Arina answered Gero's Question while leaning on the wall and sipping at her tea. "Thanks for fixing the floor by the way, nifty trick." She noted before moving over to the fire place.

Janu entered slowly from the garden, a freshly cut from the vine blue flower sitting in her palm. She’d hoped that it would soothe her to take a walk but she’d found her mind still tumbling with questions. In defending Vuri she’d discovered she’d unconsciously blocked at least one ability but what else had she blocked?

Janu shook her head, sighing softly. She blushed as she saw arina by the fire but simply walked to a nearby vase . She placed it in the roses Vuri had gathered, a single blue center to a red bouquet. The feline half smiled, heading for her own tea which was now cold.

Arina's ear twitched as she heard the door open and turned to look at Janu. She watched her place the flowers in a vase and thought they looked nice. She moved to sit on the couch she had moved in front of the fire place tea still in hand she crossed one leg over the other the slit in the side of her skirt showing one full leg and only the foot of her other leg. She yawned lightly from being comfortable. "Hey Janu" She managed to get out after the yawn "Nice pick on the flowers.." She complimented softly.

Oh thanks” She stated softly in distraction, sitting next to Arina when she looked over. Seeing her now exposed leg the feline blushed deeply, telling herself to look away but unable to. Why…How did she make Janu’s heart speed up like that? She said nothing, hoping Arina hadn’t noticed when she toor her gaze away from the exposed leg. The feline took a shaky sip of tea, wishing she could stop feeling the way she did….

"Don't have to give thanks for the truth." Arina said starring into the fire her hands cupping her tea cup. After a moment she looked back towards Janu, while she was sipping her tea. [she's so clueless lol] "Was it nice out today? I thought about having a picnic while the weather lasted..." She asked softly trailing off in thought of what she'd put in the basket. "Will probably have to run to the grocer..."

((she’s as bad as Jan XD but actually provocative :P. and I didn’t say Arina :P I said you miss kitty.))

For a moment the feline didn’t really hear what she said, having glanced to her out of habit as she spoke. She couldn’t help but drift over her curves once more, feeling herself take in a faster breath. “y…yes…nice out today.” She whispered softly, glancing away a moment. Blushing she finally stood, having never felt this way for a woman before and not sure how to feel about. She had only been around straight people so didn’t understand this could be just as natural.

She leaned over, unable to take it now. She reached over, touching the skirt and tossing it over Arina’s exposed leg slightly. “Lint…” She lied, standing and walking towards the fire and leaning on the fireplace slightly. With a blush she stood there a moment, trying to reign in her emotion. What was this?

Arina blushed softly she hadn't really even noticed her leg had been exposed, though she didn't believe Janu's excuse. She brushed it off and leaned back in her chair looking Janu over. "You and me, we'll have a picnic. If anyone else decides to come out of their rooms they can join of course. But I'm thinking some tuna rolls, and some hard cider, mix the light meal with the warm beverage and all."

“Sounds good…” The feline stated softly, glancing over to give a light smile towards Arina. She did want to spend more time with her…but she was inwardly afraid. She hadn’t felt this way about another woman before, and had never seen it done back home, so began to wonder if something was wrong with her. She shook off the thought, simply giving her another smile and nervously sitting by the dragoness. She looked at her hands, stating absently “Heh I’ve always liked tuna, never had hard cider before though.” She shrugged lightly, wondering what it was. Honestly she’d never had anything but tea, water, and milk.

((Hmmm if I recall hard cider is a fermented :P so Janu being unuse to it can get a little tipsy hehe))

"Oh, you'll love it... though I'll have to make sure not to give you toooo much...I haven't seen you drink anything with any alcohol, but some warm hard cider, in this chilling atmosphere, is wonderful." She sighed softly just thinking about it. "So that's it, I'm calling the grocer to make sure he will get a bottle ready for pickup." She nodded making her way over to the phone and pressing the buttons. The conversation was a short one before she went to the closet. "Come come Janu, I hate making the ride on my own." Arina stated, pulling out a cloak that was the same black color as her dress with patterns of silver from the floor to about her hips. She then pulled a Saphire blue one that had a lace covering along the bottom that matched Janu's dress and held it out to her. "I hope you aren't afraid of horses."

No… I use to take care of uncle’s horses all the time” She stated with a giggle, curious about giving her too much. Alcohol… it had always been something her family wanted to keep away. Her mischief, as always, however made it sound like a good idea. Janu wasn’t normally one to act on this impulse but trusting Arina she figured for once she could.

She then walked over, taking the cloak gently. She pulled it close and touched the pretty cloth before pulling it over her shoulders. Her mind briefly wondered if perhaps her fur would make it to warm but dismissed it as impolite to say, unaware that her desire had briefly caused her fur…to disappear. It was back even as she blinked, however, so was unaware of it.
