"At least I'm not imagining this," Talianda said, turning to the inn. "Do you think it's safe to go inside yet, though?" He took a step, then stopped. Would everyone be upset? He didn't want to get spells thrown at him, or be bit. "I'm not sure..."

Arina coughed a few more times before gasping a few more times, she held her breath there for a good while but dust had flew into her mouth there at the end. She heard Janu speak and all she could do through the coughing was nod her head. Her blury vision however had not quite caught her walking to the door her depth perception being off.


Sylvia just shrugged a little. "I say what I see, I see no harm from you, at least not intentional. More fear than anything. Fae are sensitive to things like that. We can sense danger easily." She started to do flips in the air. "I smell dust, so now she is a dusty princess ahahahaha"

Lukus did what he could to clean up quickly and then washed the bowl and spoon. Being in the kitchen and not sensitive to magic he had no idea what was going on up stairs. "Care to try again?" He asked handing Oni the spoon once more "Just a little slower this time." He teased.

He giggled as Lukas playfully teased him and said, "Okay," taking the spoon from him, " this time I go slower and keep waffle mix in the bowl." He carefully blended the waffle mix. He was very intent on his task.

((Thankfully Oni/Xanic got some good rest and so Oni has much better control blocking the emotions that fly around this place, lol. Plus it helps being around Lukas. He makes Oni calm.))

“Hehe that I’m not dangerous…….. That doesn’t say much about how fun I am.” She teased, glancing to her kitten and patting it on the head as she stepped closer to answer Tal. “Why don’t you go inside and see? You’re the one who cares the most here.” She smiled slightly, knowing it as true. She then glanced back o the fairy. She liked her well enough…but she didn’t trust her…then again…who did she trust but Eb?

The kitten held onto Tal’s horn, curling up into a sleepy form across his horn. It yawned wide as cats do, flapping its wings. As Rain spoke it gave her a ‘behave’ type look before returning it’s gaze to the soft white fur.

Sylvia shrugged "You're fun for now, maybe you'll be fun later, we shall see." She said again in her sing song voice flying in little circles around rain. "The main entertainment seems to have ended, and so, you'll have to do for now." She giggled her hand moving through the braids each time she want behind Rain.

When it was all mixed together having already plugged in and turned on the waffle iron he grabbed the spray on Pam and sprayed it over the surface. "Alright, for this first one, i'm going to show you how much you put in at a time," Lukas said grabbing a ladel and filling it almost to the top "you're going to want about this much, cause when you press the top down it spreads." He explained pouring the contents of the ladel onto the waffle iron and closing it, some started leaking out the sides "And don't worry about the leaking, it's going to happen a lot."

Ti stood still, wanting this to just be over with. He wanted to leave, to just no bother with emotion again, but his sense of honor and duty told him he had to stay and fix what he broke. His eyes flashed gold as he looked up, his gaze moving from Arina and Janu, lost in his mind and not knowing what to do.

Talianda nodded slightly, listening to Rain. Well, it was now or never, wasn't it? He walked into the building making his way to Arina's room. I tell her plainly, not subtly as I usually do. She doesn't seem to understand anything else. He started up the steps, noticing the dust floating around. I can clean this for them. A small breeze picked up, carrying the dust away from everyone and out the windows.

Arina sat against the frame of her bed breathing regularly now. "I can't see so well..." She admitted blushing softly "I mean I understand I've pretty much had my eyes open for a few days now but this blurriness is so irritating." She complained softly. She didn't want to say anything serious at the moment. She knew Janu was there... She wanted to tell Ti she loved him too... but she was uncomfortable doing so with others around. She was going to tell him... but then she showed up... Did she never have a chance alone long enough to get her courage up.

Oni huddled as close as he could without getting in the way and watched carefully. He liked the part about it leaking. It gave him another reason to like waffles. They were messy, kind of like him. "How long does it take?" he asked hoping it wouldn't take long.

Rain watched a moment, seeing her dance around her and touch her braids each time. “You want entertainment do you…?” She replied with a dark smirk, waiting for the fairy to reach right in front of her before suddenly pouncing on her in an almost cat like manner and pinning the fairy on her back by the wrists unless she did something drastic like shrunk. “Be careful what you wish for.” she stated with a laugh before standing and holding out a hand to help her up.

The cat could sense the sheer seriousness of the wolf and with a sigh of boredom jumped off his head, going towards the kitchen. Unlike it’s mistress it loved sweets and it thought it smelled waffles!!!! So it nearly ran into the kitchen.





Janu didn’t say a word further after remarking softly, “You….have a lot to talk about…I’ll understand if you want me to leave the inn Arina…” She then headed towards her room, her eyes down cast. She didn’t see Tal downstairs or anyone else, her mind on her inner thoughts. She could not do anything further… only fall into her thoughts and worry…

"With this one? Only a couple minutes. "He said and smiled. "It works real fast." he added. A couple minutes passed and he opened the lid revealing the steamy but delicious looking waffle. "See." He said taking a metal spatula and getting it off the burner. "Alright, your turn, but be careful not to touch the metal, it's really hot. " he said indicating the waffle iron.

Talianda saw Janu walk from Arina's room to her own, nearly bounding up the stairs and after her. "Janu! Wait!" he called, reaching the top. "Let me talk to you, I have something I want to say." Shit! How am I ging to say it? Calm down, say it plain. "Will you listen?" he asked, going to her room.

Sylvia squealed for a moment but didn't think to shrink knowing she wasn't in any real danger. She laughed taking Rain's hand and standing up again. "That, I didn't see coming." She laughed and then shrunk and sat on Rain's shoulder. "Ooooh, look at me, I can hide in your hair, it's like a Forest when I'm this little."


Arina sighed softly as Janu left the room. "I don't want her to leave the Inn." She let out. "I just wanted her to leave my room." she added her hand going to her head. Her emotions and everything that had happened were starting to give her a headache. "Why is it every time I want to tell you I love you.. it gets ruined..." She almost whispered .

Lukas saw the cat walk in and knelt down with his hand out "Well hello little one. what brought you in here?" He called out softly.

Oni had to tear his eyes, and stomach, away from the fresh hot waffle. Oooh it smelled so good but he was the one who had asked Lukas to show him how to make them. Focusing on the task at hand Oni very carefully ladled some of the mix and poured it on the waffle maker and then closed it. He couldn't help himself any longer so he pointed to the finished one and asked, "Is it okay if I eat that one while this one cooks."

Ti watched Janu leave, pain and worry written on his face. He let his eyes fall to the floor, head bowed as he fought tears of anger. He didn't look up as Arina spoke, but sighed softly before replying. "I'm cursed when it comes to love, that's why." He said, his voice low and broken up as he mentally beat himself.

Rain smirked and pulled her into a standing position, shrugging her shoulders. “Figured I’d warn you, I can be drastic.” She laughed then and watched as the other shrank and sat on her shoulder. She patted her on the head, frowning a little and saying “Just be careful… in my hair you could get lost and tangled easy.” She then shook her head a bit and leaned against the tree, remembering her tea which had warmed slightly from being outside. She’d wanted ice… oh well, this would do she thought taking a sip.



The kitten smiled as the first waffle was completed. It began to stalk up towards the two, leaping suddenly on Onis foot and nuzzling up towards his leg. It then paused, giving them both a pleading look and sniffing the air. It then stood on its hind legs, putting its front paws on Oni’s leg. As Lucas spoke to it the small furry creature put its paws in his hand and looked towards the waffles then his face and mewed pathetically.




Janu paused as she heard Tal, looking to him sadly. She crossed her arms like she felt cold, looking over towards him a moment. “hi….” She said quietly, seeming almost scared. She wondered if she’d be told to get out by Lucas or Arina…. She was now simply waiting for that to happen.

"Hi," he said gently, walking over to her. "Why are you scared?" He sounded worried. "You can tell me anything, you know." Stupid, just tell her!! "I won't leave. I..." He sighed, trying to muster up the nerve to say it.

Oni wasn't aware of the cat till it leaped on his foot and began nuzzling his leg. When the cute little thing pointed at the finished waffle he just didn't have the heart to eat it himself. He looked at Lukas and said, "I suppose we should feed this little one first huh." He grabbed the waffle to give it to the cat when Xanic pushed out and shoved a large portion of it in his mouth and ate it. He swallowed some of the huge bite and with his mouth full of food said, "Make your own damn cat.

Lukas gave out a small laugh. "Alright, I guess we could..." but was cut off as Xanic took the bite from the waffle. "Well, I guess the next one will go to the cat then. It's almost done anyway." He said and handed a fork and the Syrup to Xanic. "Here, if you want it." He said taking the second waffle out as it finished and setting the plate on the floor.

"Seems we both have it." She curled up in her bed pulling her knees up under her chin like a little kid. "I never truly get to have it." She said softly, again almost a whisper, more to herself than to him really. She bit her bottom lip, wondering hoow it would have felt, if she weren't stone at the time.. Wondering if she'd ever get the passion she had seen him kiss Janu with. She couldn't help being jealous tears starting to form in her eyes. She let her face be covered by her skirt though, hiding it.

Sylvia giggled "Lost maybe, Tangled less likely... " She retorted and hung from one of the braids. "This is kinda fun" She giggled climbing from braid to braid.

Rain sighed as she began to swing from her braids like vines, tempted to play a trick on the fairy but choosing not to. “I want another apple, hang on” she muttered to the fairy, heading for the kitchen crisper where she’d found one before. She glanced at the cat and the waffles but was more interested in her fruit. She knew Ebony’d get her way…she always did.


The cat hoped with excitement as Oni began to give it the waffle only to have Xanic take over. The feline looked annoyed, giving Xanic a clear ‘I don’t think I like you…’ look. It seemed to pout a moment before looking at Lucas. It rubbed itself against his leg a moment, giving him the please look. As he sat her a waffle down she let out a mew of joy, leaning down and beginning to nearly attack the waffle though it seemed to be staring at the syrup bottle with envy. The cat’s love of sweets could likely rival Oni’s ..





He loves her…. And I think she hates me.” the feline sighed and looked down, watching the ground a moment. “I’m afraid she’ll make me leave….” she finally whispered, her ears still falling downward. She then shrugged, leaning against the wall and leaning back.

Xanic ignored both the fork and the syrup, took another huge bite and gave Lukas a big grin. A few large bites later he finished, satisfied at getting the waffle before the cat did. Saying in a loud voice, "Now Oni that's how it's done!" With that he went back inside.

One came out with his eyes wide and quickly he said looking from the cat to Lukas, "I am so sorry at my brother's behavior." He was so embarrassed. He knelt down and asked the cat, "I hope you can forgive him."
