Finally he had something to throw on. He had bought a blue button up along with a few other pieces of clothing from a local store. That, and along with something pretty... nice... from a costume shop. In fact, that was what he wore back to the Inn. There was a party tonight, after all.

A long ornate pirate coat, soft to the touch and black in color with gold decorating it. Gold buttons held the jacket together and white cotton ruffled down from the collar; a simple cravat with a fake gem fastening it. He couldn't very well buy a large gem that was... well.. real. He had a pair of black dress pants on with matching shoes. He had a mask covering his face, having only thought of this last touch after seeing the owner's costume.

( Ugh. going for a bit. I'll have him enter when I get back~ )

Rain awoke slowly, not even remembering when she’d wandered up to her room. Oh well, she knew she had because she was here…and it was Halloween she remembered then. She smirked inwardly, deciding to dress up. It took some thinking and some manipulation of cloth but soon she was dressed as a black cat with even her sweeping hair changed black. She was sure everyone would just assume she dyed it normally.

She left her hair down, large black cat ears attached to a band buried in it and a long black tail curling from the seat of her pants. She decided to wear a flirty velvet black skirt and low cut black top, though with long sleeves and leggings to cover up her many scars. She then donned the black mask held on by a long ribbon. She didn’t know why but she always felt such energy on Halloween.

As she came down the stairs she leaped on the banister and slid down, smirking with contentment as her winged black cat flew down to land on her shoulder. She then walked out, heading for the kitchen and singing gently under her breath in an odd language she’d woke up knowing but not really understanding what the language was called or why she knew it.



Janu stepped inside, running a hand through her raven hair. She didn’t know it was Halloween, being she couldn’t remember anything after all. She simply wandered over towards the kitchen, her stomach growling to tell her she needed food…at least that’s what she thought the gurgling in her belly meant…with her mind so lost she wasn’t that sure….

Taking out a piece of cheese from the fridge she cut off a slice with a claw and took a bite, and waited, finding her stomach felt a bit of relief. Yes…she was hungry, that’s what this feeling was. Feeling a little better now that she’d found she did know something’s still she nibbled on the slice of cheese, leaning against the wall.

Costume and all Dante walked through the front doors of the inn. He was surprised to see it so empty. huh... how boring. He headed upstairs and put his clothing in his room before returning downstairs. He looked around once more, this time seeing a white haired woman. Another female... where were the men? This 'vacation' would be terrible! He sighed inwardly, though smiled to the other. He had to be charming in such a costume , after all.

" Good evening." He cooed to the woman with a short bow before moving over to the bar to take a seat.

((hehe the irony is Rain’s been ….assaulted by men in every way that a woman can be assaulted so feels the same about men as he does women XD))
“Evening” she responded, leaving out the good as she usually did. Rain rarely said unless something great had happened but she looked over at him. He was cute but she always felt that reticence to stand close being he was a man after all. Still outwardly she showed nothing of it and simply retrieved a cup of coffee, her eyes already on her cup instead of him. Honestly she wasn’t that impressed though something about him made her feel she didn’t have to watch him as close as she did many men who looked at her curves like a hungry wolf at fresh meat.

She leaned against the wall, taking a content sip of her coffee and glancing over his costume. She finally nodded as if in approval, a pirate…she hadn’t seen that kind of costume in a while. The witch then turned to the winged cat on her shoulder who was looking at her with wide blue eyes and down turned ears. “Brat” she mumbled to it before getting it a small bowl of cream. Noticing Oni as she went to grab the cream she playfully walked behind him and gripped his shoulder suddenly while letting out a high-pitched screech like a cat. She then giggled and said softly, “Happy Halloween, that dear is what you call a trick. I'm sure Lucas will help get you a treat later."

Oni was happily doing what he was doing. He jumped about five feet in the air and screamed when some one grabbed him and screeched.

Xanic popped out and yelled, "Holy crap woman! Don't do that! You about gave us a heart attack." Xanic got their breathing under control. He wanted to really ream her out but decided to try and hold back on his temper. He decided to let Oni back out.

Oni looked at her and said, "That was really scary."

She hadn’t been surprised when Oni jumped so high or when Xanic came out in temper. She shrugged off both, Halloween bringing out her most mischievous side. She simply said ‘Oh come on…’ as Xanic complained, not much caring about him and his temper.

As Oni came Back she smirked a little bit, waving a finger at him “That’s half the fun of Halloween, getting the life scared out of you while knowing your safe. The other is the treat, partying and candy of course.” She then smiled, stepping to the side so she could hug him while hopefully avoiding being hugged back to close. She then ruffled his hair and stepped back, hands in the pockets of her skirts. She gave him a small smile then, waiting.

That was strange. No, that was awkward. She had only glanced at him, then looked away as if he were nothing. Wait... this was FANTASTIC! He grinned to himself, gitty at the thought. A woman that wasn't interested him! He could get used to that!

He was enjoy the silence happily when a screech sounded. Paranoid, he looked around the entire room before looking towards the white haired woman from before. He fell pale, his hands shaking suddenly. Dammit... why were there no men...?

Oni smiled when he hugged her completely forgiving her for scaring him so bad. He asked her, "Do want any waffles? I'm going to ask everybody else too." He poked his head out the door to see if any one was around. He saw the scary man from last night who now looked not as scary.

Quietly he said, "Um mister would you like some waffles with berries in them?"

Ah? There it was. A male voice! Dante looked up to the purple haired and purple eyed boy, a bit puzzled at first. He decided that it was some current fashion to chance your appearance like that rather than it being natural. And now what was this? the only other male in the place was requesting to make him waffles?

"Ah, sure. Thank you." He smiled to the purple haired boy before crossing his arms on top of the counter.

She let go of him quickly then, touching her scar on her hip before heading for a seat at the bar where she could see Oni. The child like Oni was really the only man she could stand to be in touching distance of her. She began to sip her coffee nodding though she wasn’t usually a breakfast person. She could eat a waffle she guessed. “Sure….Haven’t eaten yet…”

Rain glanced at the other man, seeing the ’scary’ man was shaking. She felt a little guilt… but not enough to say anything. She simply shrugged and said softly, “You should get something warm to drink.” She saw his reaction to Oni and realized then that he was gay, she muttered to herself "Knew there was something I liked about him." with a dark chuckle.

Oni said to Rain, "Okay make some for you too." He smiled.

He replied to the scary man shyly and said, "Do you want lots of waffles or just a few?" He looked then noticed the mans clothes and walked in the room going straight for the man. He said, " Oh wow those are cool clothes. Are they for Halloween? Lukas said he was going to helo me find a costume and we're going to go trick-or-treating too! Did you want to come with us?" He sat down next to the man as he rambled on.

Dante chuckled softly and shook his head. "I'm fine." He lied to the woman's comment. He held his arms to hide the shaking before sighing deeply. "And? What did you like so much about me? My charming nature? Good looks?" He winked to her, though his stomach disagreed. It felt painful just to say such things. He really didn't want her to start getting close.

His eyes fell upon the purple haired boy once more. He quirked a brow, a bit taken aback. He acted to young. Maybe he was young. Too young. Oh well. He smiled softly to him before shrugging. "I haven't even had breakfast. 'Lots and Lots' would be lovely."

Then the boy sat next to him. Dante looked to him curiously, listening to his babbling. He really WAS too young. trick of Treating? That was for the kids, right? But, it would be nice to relax once in awhile. hopefully nothing to terrible happened while they were out... "Sure. Why not?"

Xanic came out before Oni could respond and said, "Hi, I'm Oni's, the rambling ones, brother. Sorry if he is taking up your time or disturbing you. He get's overly excited about things so if you really don't want to go trick-or-treating you don't have to." Not really waiting for a response to either why he was a different person or to what he had said Xanic started walking back to the kitchen. He said, "Come on Oni we have waffles to make." He didn't really care for this new character and didn't want Oni either on the man's good side or bad side.

Thanks” She murmured even though she really didn’t particularly like waffles. They were aright but sort of sweet for breakfast. Still….Something about the child like Oni seemed to bring out niceness in people, even the hard shelled Rain.

She let her lips curl into a smile as he spoke, rolling her eyes at the wink. She walked by him, glancing at Oni and deciding for once to be a little delicate then she would have had he not been there. “No sweet heart……the fact you like sharp angles, not curves.” She laughed and went to refill her coffee cup. Listening to Oni she knew that what she said would go right over his head, but having a feeling that anyone else would know she was saying she liked him for the fact that he was clearly gay. As Xanic came out and took control she glanced at him, raising an eyebrow. "Worried dear?" She asked teasingly, though there was something darker in her looks then usual.

"Eh? That was quick..." Dante muttered with a pout before perching his chin on his hand. She liked him because he was gay? Which meant if he were not gay, she would be insecure perhaps? Then she just didn't like straight men. Then.. she was a lesbian? Or, she was just like Dante?

Well, wouldn't that be fun... two physically abused people that hated the opposite sex under the same roof. He watched to purple haired boy leave, though hardly paid it any mind. He left him so suddenly with such a formal goodbye, not to mention he said he was someone else. Two personalities? So he wasn't normal. Well, wasn't this just a bit better; it seemed everyone under this roof was a nut or just strange.

Xanic gave one of his ever plenty glares at Rain and said, "I just don't like him is all." He went back into the kitchen and started on the waffles. Once focused on a task Oni and Xanic talked while they made waffles.

The bisexual woman filled her coffee easily enough and glanced towards Xanic, raising an eyebrow. “Other then Oni I didn’t think you liked anyone.” She half teased, walking to the doorway. She leaned against one side, sipping her coffee as her cat perched on the counter and began watching Xanic cook. Rain liked this position, she could see Xanic/Oni and Dante both.

Dante watched the two, falling silent. Left in the dust by two people whom knew each other better. It didn't matter to him, though. His job here was not to flirt or make friends, but to find his target and take them down. He eves dropped on their conversation, closing his eyes and calculating their words. So far, no dice. All he got from this was an insult. He didn't have to say it so bluntly, did he?

Dante sighed, relaxing in his spot. This wasn't much of a party at all, now was it?

Lukas groaned falling out of bed. He shook his head waking up and dressing up in his costume before making his way down stairs. He couldn't believe he'd slept through the whole day... well, at least there was still time to go trick or treating... He mumbled to himself as he made his way down the stairs, something about wanting coffee.

Xanic just grunted to Rain like usual.

They had made a nice stack of waffles. Oni said to Xanic, "Be nice okay. I promise I'll behave." Xanic grunted to his as well.

Oni put a few waffles on a plate for Rain and gave her the plate letting her doctor them up.
Oni popped his head out again and said to the man, "Um mister, do you want butter and syrup? Sorry I don't know you're name. I'm Oni." He smiled.
