Well I'm almost seven months pregnant and quite scared. I'm not sure if I'm ready or how to even be ready for such. I'm afraid I won't be good enough for the child.
Does anyone here have any advice to give with being prepared? I have a few people to turn to, but they still don't understand what it's like to be through young and expecting, with your parents down your back.

I saw a friend of mine today who is 7 months pregnant like you and her stomach looks like it has a bowling ball in it. :) But she signed up for foodstamps from the government, you can also try WIC that is a good program. If your parents are supporting you with money and advice, I think you should be okay.

I think one of the best things to have is emotional support since having a baby can be so different from anything else. It would probably be a good idea to talk to someone who was pregnant at a young age, or at least someone who could be there for you and not judge you. Just stay healthy and make decisions that are the best for you and the baby.

Are you close with an aunt or a grandmother? I recently miscarried myself, and I turned to my mother and an aunt for moral support. My advice would be, if you have a close female relative, talk to them about it. If not, a friend's mother may even be helpful. Just find someone who has been through it themselves. Women have been doing this since the dawn of mankind, and most women, even strangers, will be there to support you. It is perfectly natural to be scared. It's part of what is going to make you a great mom >^. .^<

That sounds like a typical thing. Being worried is normal, but you have to know your baby will love you no matter what. All you can do is give him/her the best love and care you can and that will be good enough for the baby. :) Having a child is hard and it is especially for first time mothers. I never had a child, but I know many people who have. And all of them were terrorfied of not being a good mom when in reality they were great mom's. Don't be too hard on yourself. Baby will always love you :)

Most anyone would be scared at the birth of a new child, especially if your young. However, the baby, as others said would always love you, no matter what you do. Also, if you can't take care of the child financially than put them up for adoption or get someone to take care of them while your still pregnant. Meanwhile, DO speak to female relatives and if there are any dificulties during the birth or the pregnancy don't be worried, check with a doctor to see if the problems are normal and if they aren't than you can decide what to do from there. But think of what happens if you do what you do how will YOU feel afterwards. Consider your options basically. Thats what I think.
